You're spending a minimum of 10m, 1wp here. On one fight against, mostly, mooks.

What are you intending to spend against the boss fights that are being set up against Harmattan and Janaka Videha?
More motes, obviously. :p

Well, I mean, stunting should get us back, what, 4? I'd rather spend some motes now and get something done rather than risk skimping here and taking incidental damage from lucky shots.

If we're not willing to spend motes here then there's no way in hell that it makes sense to take any Difficulty increasing options.

I think you may be missing what I noted about Difficulties. In that just Infernal Monster Style alone puts us up to 21 dice base +2 stunt, which is 23, which means we're likely to get 12 successes. And we need, like, 6-9.

There's "spend motes to ensure better chances of success" and then there's "complete overkill that wastes a load of motes and wp" - the latter of which is a lot more precious.

No, I read it, I just don't personally trust being within a standard deviation of averages. ;X

My advice? Stunt everything, go MAXIMUM RAVANA every time. They'll balance out.
To that end, I'm rewording the options I'm choosing to be more awesome.

[X] You're the Chosen of Theion. This means you're the boss. You say they don't deserve to die for trying to do their jobs? They don't get to die for trying to do their jobs. (Increases Difficulty by 3, I don't know the weight yet)
[X] They're going through the Jungle? The Jungle is yours. Welcome to the Jungle, boys, no weapons are allowed beyond this point. (Increases Difficulty by 2, unknown weight)
[X] Activate Greedy Grawping Grip. "I am the monster hiding under your bed. All made of teeth but for eyes glowing red." (Well, they're actually green, but it's the thought that counts. Right?)
[X] Activate First Theion Excellency. "Ravana grins with all his mouths. These poor grunts were about to have the most important, fantastic experience of their lives, and they had no idea. It was absolutely tragic. He'd set them straight soon enough."
[ ] Activate Many Armed Wrathful Deva Method, all three sets. "Ravana always wanted to drive a giant robot, that could defeat all his opponents in one punch. This was still unlikely, but he could now throw many, many more punches, so it evened out."
[X] Antagonistic Hero Thing (Difficulty 12+ Only) "Ravana doesn't necessarily get along with all the people he's protecting, but he does it anyway. Heaven knows, if people only helped people they got along with, he'd be dead right now."
[ ] Compassion (Difficulty 11+ Only) "But then again, he it's not like he doesn't like them. He does, even if he wouldn't always admit it. And if protecting them means scaring some uptight Dragonbloods out of their wits, that's what he's going to do."
[ ] Theion (Difficulty 14 or Difficulty 7) "Also, he's ****ing awesome, and this is going to show everyone why."

Thoughts on Rules of Engagement?
[X] Yes.
-> [X] Just kidding.
Because Earthscorpion's stunt was awesome.

Uh...no, that's not how it works. One virtue channel or WP expenditure per turn.

What is Ravana's Lethality Policy against the Armored Regiment?
[X] They don't actually stand a chance here, try your best not to kill anyone. If people die...it sucks, but you really need to protect the district. (1x. Increases Difficulty by 1)

How is Ravana Engaging the Armored Regiment?
[X] Hit them in the jungle, engage them there and keep them there. Collateral damage is unacceptable. (1.5x. Increases Difficulty by 2)

Charm Use
[X] Greedy Gawping Grip (I have already included this and it will remain included barring a truly batshit vote to the contrary. 3 motes committed, +3 autosux.)
[X] First Theion Excellency (1m/dice up to dice cap from charms. Must be used in accordance with Theionic principles) (spending 4 motes - with the intention of regenning them with the stunt)

Pretty simple. Running mote neutral, hopefully.

Ravana stands his robot on top of a dilapidated abandoned building, arms crossed. A heroic cape doesn't flap behind him, which is a vast oversight which will be remedied next time. Or maybe he can find some way to use his powers to generate a cape. He can already see the heat signiatures of the advancing hostiles, cutting their way through the jungle road.

"Come on!" he addresses speaking from his many mouths. "Come one and all! Inhabitants! Watch as I defeat them all! Prepare to hear their weeping in their utmost humiliation!"

He leaps down off the building, kicking up dirt. The plants growing around this abandoned area move out his way. They know their master. Just as the enemies out there will know their master.

"Oh yes," Ravana says, smirking like a lunatic. "They're about to see just the smallest part of my power. They're not going to see the true strength of the Overman. They're not worthy of it. But know this. My power is beyond their counting! I will hide it, yes! Keep it concealed. Why? Because I'm just that badass. I will defeat them with one hand behind my back - and so keep my arm fresh for the fight which is yet to come. Because, oh yes. I'm just getting started."

"Seriously, no one is listening to you. Apart from me. I'm listening to you. And right now, I really wish I wasn't. I wish I had fingers, so I could stick them in the ears I don't have so I wouldn't have to listen to you when you get like this."

"And I will spare as many as I can. They will see the least of my power and know I could so easily have killed them. But I didn't. Because I'm just that good." Ranava pauses from his self-aggrandisement as brilliance strikes him. "Yes. And I will smirk at them. With my giant robot. Because it has mouths and these mouths will smirk! They will know that a giant robot smirked at them and it will break them because..."

"Because you're a wuss who doesn't like killing. And this entire charade is being done because you need to self-justify to others why."

"... because I! Am! The Overman!" Ravana concludes, ignoring the weary demon in his head.

[X] They're soldiers, they went into this knowing what might happen. If they eject, they eject, but you can't afford to pull any punches. They're probably all going to die.

Yeah, this.

And that.

Yeah, mote neutral Excellency usage is the best way to do this, really. Seriously, people, these are mooks. Do not waste our scenelongs on them when they'll probably wear off before we fight the big fish. It is not worth it.

I find it terribly unfair that the best writers here are voting for the least fun options. They seem to set the entire vote, generally.
If I'm just misremembering, correct me. I'm here to have fun, not not to make other people's lives unpleasant.

It's not a case of ruining everyone's fun, it's a case of gradual escalation. If you want to talk about least fun, you know what's not fun? Starting out at maximum power and then having no room to escalate with awesome "NOW BEHOLD MY TRUE POWER!" *busts out three more pairs of arms* stunts and also running out of power and dying because you spent all your motes cutting through chaff in the first five minutes.

[X] I'll think about it (and decide no later).

Aleph's vote makes sense, and lets us do the antagonistic hero thing.

Look, it's not that I mind conserving power until we need it. It's that I want our guy to stay as Hero as possible, even if he ends up falling later. Swapping to First Theion Excellency is a reasonable move, I support it. I'll update my plan accordingly. But I want to use the Spare Everyone option.

Ravana's like his brother. Compassion for the little guy is how he rolls. And now he's got the power to make STICKING IT TO THE MAN so much more fun.

The maidservant pours a cup of chai, which Harmattan dutifully accepts as he sits down. Chahna takes a sip of her chai, somehow ignoring the fact that it's strong enough to curl eyebrows. He braces himself and drains half of his cup, carefully keeping his face neutral as he swallows the impossibly strong chai. Some of the infantrymen loved the stuff, but for the life of him he couldn't figure out why. There was a proper way to prepare chai, yeah? Lots of sugar, milk, more sugar, and keep it somewhere stronger than dishwater and weaker than combat stims. Chahna's chai was unsweetened, had no milk, and he's fairly certain that he's taken combat stims with less caffeine.
Wadda scrub. Can't even take is caffeine strong.
Your objective is to be a nuisance and survive until reinforcements arrive, and the bag of tricks will help with that."
Great! Rav is unparallelled at being a nuisance.

[X] Terrorize them. Pick them off systematically, eat ejecting pilots, make sure that anyone who survives is a PTSD-riddled wreck. (.3x. Lowers Difficulty by 2, creates Magnitude 1 worth of Servile Mortals. Requires you to suppress compassion. What the fuck dude?)

I say we get our Alex mercer/Predator on. Come on guys let's go wild and show everyone why fightning a infernal is a bad idea.
