Remember Sabrina's potential is enough to make things work, no matter what the Wish. This is more about how we go about things. Which parts will be easier, and which will be harder.

Keep in mind that Homura's magic isn't terribly good at healing, and that Homura isn't likely to expend a large amount of magic on a complete stranger.
[Q] Leverage the situation. Send Sayaka to get Homura; that leaves you alone with Madoka and Kyuubey. If she doesn't help you, somebody's gonna make a Wish.

That would be a very expensive power, and would require you to be within a relatively short distance of the magical girl whose powers you're hacking. And you wouldn't be able to hack your own wish power more than once, for obvious reasons.

I think that's worth it. With only a very small number of friends, our versalitility becomes completely ridiculous. As for the expense, we can grant an ally grief bending and solve that problem

Yep, her wish can do a lot. It can't instantly end the quest, or mess with the original quest, but besides that you guys have a lot of options.

Do keep in mind how much you're revealing to others, and the way they're likely going to react to your actions.

I have no idea what the consequences of this wish would be, but could we wish to control those feathers, and just cockblock Oriko that way?

Okay. These were the advantages of grief-bending:

1. Enormous versatility

2. Practical immunity to the biggest problem meguca face

3. To counter that problem in allies while simultaneously upping their own capabilities

4. The ability to practically hard counter any witch or meguca in combat

I think that my wish does 1 and 3 even better, gives us additional options for 4 and we can grant grief bending anyway to do all four.

I really think it's worth it.

Whatever happens, let's stay with Homura for a change.

[o] I wish to control space!

It might be a good idea to reduce limpetting, if nothing else, but Mami still needs a lot of attention
But a Mami that doesn't remember us would be a sad thing. And we would be reminded of that every time...

Besides, fellow time loopers have to stick together.

Please recall that we have to destroy Walpurgisnacht, free Earth from the Incubators, and overcome an unknown threat, having failed once with griefhax.

Specific oneoff powers might be neat, but we probably want to go for one of the fundamentals, that can then be leveraged into any number of smaller effects.

So:
-Grief (Done it.)
-Hope
-Souls
-Potential
-Entropy
-Magic

I like Souls, but asking for control and understanding of Magic would also be pretty neat.

Don't try to solve ALL THE PROBLEMS.

Concentrate on whatever's gonna be most difficult to deal with, and Wish for a solution to that. We'll deal with the rest.

Do keep in mind how much you're revealing to others, and the way they're likely going to react to your actions.
I bet we can convince Homura we're here on a mission to save Madoka.

Probably could lessen the cost by, say, limiting the power-edition to being only consensual. Or wish for somewhat different power.

Remember koko rejecting her wish? Even if that resulted in basically nothing but trouble, maybe, a wish could be made to let magical girls fully reject or change their powers as they wish, if they desire to.

Less hacking, more consensual process somewhat based on already existing "feature". Potential exit from magical-girlhood, a change of already existing powers, maybe enhancement of old ones./ very vague idea.

[x] I wish to understand and control Magic freely!

Another option: Control either electromagnetism or gravitational force...

Why just entropy, which is disorder? Why not energy itself?

My example let's us control wishes themselves. Nothing more verstile or fundamental.

Don't try to solve ALL THE PROBLEMS.

Only being able to solve the most difficult problem results in a failure somewhere else. We have a lot of difiicult problems to solve. Versatility is essential.

Making it only work on the willing is acceptable.

@Godwindson, can I get some commentary?

[q] I wish I wasn't making a wish.

It's a paradox! We'll have infinite power, provided we never use it!

No seriously, what was our biggest hindrance? Social.

[x] ArcadianPhoenix.

We need some tie-breaking here.

Also, a social-focussed wish will make science sessions ... interesting. (Munchkin that.)

@Redshirt Army

You forgot the best one.

"I wish ta control grief! My fuckin own! That of others muthafucka! Da grief of tha Witches muthafucka! All of dat shiznit son!"

Those all seem to encapsulate the "fundamental forces" you outlined before quite nicely.

Was there any sort of commentary in particular you were wanting?

I'm not going to run this quest through a Gizoogle Filter. :lol
