You sit up and stretch, getting ready for the day. As you tie your hair back, a thought occurs to you.
"Kyubey? Are you here?" You call out to the incubator, not knowing if he will actually respond.
Hello Misaki. Are you in need of something? The white cat appears in the window, tail swishing side to side.
"Do you know who Kristen Soma is?" Your dream from last night is quite concerning, you hope Kyubey can enlighten you somewhat. You start packing a bento as you wait for a response.
She is a girl I contracted last night. She lives on the other side of Mitakihara. How do you know of her? You debate actually telling the alien about your dreams. You decide that he wouldn't do anything detrimental with the information.
"I had a dream about the contract last night. I was trying to figure out why. What's her potential?" Kyubey's head tilts slightly.
She has average potential. Do you plan on finding her? You shrug as you lean down to grab your bag.
"Maybe. Hey, can you ask Etsuko if she would like to walk with me to school?
I do not understand why you girls insist on continuing on going to school. It would be more effective to just hunt witches. You roll your eyes.
"Please just do it." Kyubey is quiet for a second before he responds.
Etsuko has declined your offer. She has other plans for traveling to school. I hope this answer is adequate for you. His unblinking eyes stare into yours.
You shrug, attempting to hide your disappointment. With that, you head out to school.
As you start preparing your stuff for class, a voice fills your head. Etsuko's head snaps up, obviously surprised as well.
'Are you sure this is okay? I mean, tagging along to school and everything.' Ah, Sayaka then.
Why not? False confusion filled Kyubey's voice.
'That psycho chick who was trying to kill you yesterday just transferred to our class. You're sort of risking your life being here.' The agitation in her mental voice was obvious. Oh, poor Sayaka. You don't know about the bodies.
Actually, I think the school is the safest place for me. Besides, Mami and some new magical girls are here. Kyubey informs the girls.
'Mami's a ninth grader, she's way over on the other side of school. And who are the other girls?' Madoka has a confused tone mixed with slight apprehension.
'Don't worry, I can hear all of you perfectly.' The cheer in Mami's voice could be heard over the telepathy. You hold back a smile.
She's not that far, so my telepathy can still reach her. The incubator seems to be happy with this so called development.
'Oh, uh, um, good morning!' Madoka's surprise isn't hidden very well.
'I promise I'll keep a close watch over you. Besides, she doesn't seem like the type who would attack you in public.' Mami assures.
'I'm also curious about these new girls.' This was your cue to speak. However, Etsuko beat you to it.
'Hello! I'm Etsuko Higari, eighth grader! I didn't know there was another magical girl here.' You roll your eyes slightly at your friend
'I'm- Wow, this telepathy thing is weird. Anyway, I'm Misaki Subame. Etsuko and I contracted yesterday. Would you like to meet us during lunch?' You ask, trying to be as friendly as possible. She responds quickly.
'Of course! The roof should be a good place.' You send a message of agreement. The enthusiasm is clear in her voice.
'Sayaka.' You have clue if she is really listening, but you continue anyway. 'Nothing will happen at school with Homura.'
'If you say so... Ugh. Speak of the devil.' Sayaka groans out loud this time and hits her head on her desk. Homura simply ignores her and heads to her seat. You swear you saw her glare at you for a second.
The lunch bell rings, much to the relief of the class. Gathering up your bento, you head up towards the roof, Etsuko following soon after.
As the two of you open the door to the roof, a group of four can be seen.
You can feel a fifth presence above you.
Mami, Sayaka, Madoka, and Hitomi. You weren't expecting the green-haired girl to be here.

I have a feeling that Hitomi would notice if we had suspiciously long silences only excluding her. If anyone else have any suggestions, that'd be great.
