Your wish as reduced entropy. Embrace your destiny! With those words you gasp as you feel a large amount of pain in your chest from the extraction of your soul. You reach out and grab it, forming the egg-like container. It was a light blue color and both of the insignias on your Soul Gem were spades. Huh.
"Misaki! Are you ok?!" Etsuko ran over to you, checking you over for damage.
She is fine Etsuko. Would you like to make a wish as well? The alien cat turned towards your blonde friend.
"U-um…" You place a hand on Etsuko's shoulder in a comforting manner.
"You don't need-" She cuts you off.
"No! I'm going to make a wish!" She takes a deep breath before turning towards Kyubey. "I no longer want to be weighed down by my families financial troubles. I wish for my family to never need money again!" Kyubey repeated the same process he did with you, giving Etsuko an orange Gem with butterfly insignias. Etsuko gasps after the procedure is done.
"T-that hurt… I never would have thought having my soul removed would hurt…" You nod in agreement despite already having known that it actually would hurt. While your friend was distracted with her pain Kyubey turned his attention to you.
'Misaki, as of our arrangement I would like to know about your knowledge of the Puella Magi system. I will accept your information through telepathy if you do not wish for Etsuko to know.' You decide that, although you like Etsuko, you aren't close enough for her to know all about you yet.
"I woke up today with few memories of my life. All I knew was my name. After looking at my school uniform I remembered information about the system. I don't know why though." He stared at you for a second.
'Peculiar. I believe a similar thing occurred with another girl. I shall need to look into this.' He then transitioned to speaking to the both of us. I recommend you start hunting witches soon. Having your Soul Gem corrupted seems to be an unwanted outcome for you humans. With those final words Kyubey ran off. After a second Etsuko turns towards you once more.
"… What should we do now?" You put a hand on your chin and think.

Also my thoughts on the wish were more that is only got a one third plurality. Which reflects more on the desires of the voters than on you.

"Etsuko, how about we go test our new powers?" You smile at your friend before grabbing her hand. She blushes slightly.
"U-um… W-we could go to t-the junkyard… ButonlyifthatisOKwithyou!" You smile and nod.
"Lead the way!"
You and Etsuko arrived at your destination after a few minutes. With a nod the two of you summon your Soul Gem and transform.
Your hair tie is replaced by a blue bow which sits lightly on your neck. Your outfits consists of a sleeveless blue shirt with a slight train. Securing it closer to the body is a white corset. Paired with the top is a pleated white blue. On your feet are tall white boots with slight heels. The Soul Gem becomes a purple spade on your chest.
Etsuko's long hair is tied in high pigtails, each tie having a butterfly on it. She is wearing a black dress with a white hem. The sleeves reach the wrists on both hands and the neckline is similar to that of a turtleneck. Etsuko is wearing long white socks and simple brown sandals as well. On her shoulders is a shawl which looks like the wings of a monarch butterfly. The Soul Gem turns into an orange circle on the center of her back. You look over the girl next to you.
"What's with the butterflies?" You giggle slightly, much to Etsuko's dismay.
"Butterflies are pretty though…" The blonde mumbled to herself self-consciously. You feel bad now.
"I'm sorry if I offended you. The theme is cute." Etsuko blushes deeply at the compliment.
"U-u-uh t-thank y-y-you. Yo-your out-outfit is cute t-too." You can't help but giggle slightly at her nervousness.
"So, shall we begin?" Etsuko's response is to summon her weapon: a parasol with a monarch butterfly pattern on it. You summon your own weapon. A grey staff forms with a blue orb on top. It seems pretty typical of a magic wand. With little effort you shoot a beam towards the blonde girl, prompting her to open her parasol to deflect the blast and flying above where the shot would have been.
"Why did you shoot me?!" You laugh slightly.
"Fighting is the best way to train! Besides, look down!" Etsuko follows your directions and notices she is a few feet above the ground. Suddenly her power stops and she hits the ground with a thud.
"Ow…
For the next few hours you and Etsuko attack each other in order to identify your skills. Your power appears after you try blocking a shot from the blonde. It's time control, but not at the same scale as Homura's. When you are finally done trying to shoot one another an idea comes to mind.
"Can I try something?"
"Sure. What do you need?" The blonde tilts her head slightly.
"Hold up your gem please." Etsuko complies. You focus your power on the orange soul in front of you. A rewind sign appears on the gem, setting it to a previous state with less corruption.
"Ah! My gem is brighter! Can you do the same with yours?" You try but nothing happens. "Oh, that's not fun. But thank you for cleaning my gem… In a way." Etsuko bows in gratitude, much to your embarrassment. You check how much corruption you have actually accumulated over the course of training.
Yikes. You really need to work on conserving your energy. After a second you decide to test something else. Summoning your Soul Gem in front of you, you start squeezing it until it starts to cra-
-ck. Etsuko runs over to check on you.
"Misaki! Are you ok?! You blanked out for a bit! I saw you crush your gem and-" You hold up a hand to stop her.
"I'm fine, my wish prevents too much damage from happening." You look at your gem to see if anything happened.
Your corruption halved. Interesting. Your attention turns back towards your friend. "Do you want to go home?" The yellow-eyed girl nods in confirmation. As you leave you swear you could feel eyes watching you.
When you finally arrive home you are absolutely exhausted. After making a quick meal of ramen and taking a shower, you lay your head on your pillow and close your eyes.
You open your eyes. Surrounding you are orbs of different colors, each pulsing with light. You feel the urge to grab one.
New skills
Soul Destruction: Break Soul Gem to halve corruption. You are immobile for 20 seconds.
Time Control: Pause, rewind, or fast forward time for a chosen object. Works on Soul Gems which are not yours. (+5 corruption per second)
Simple Blast: A small blast of magic. Doesn't do too much damage but good for drawing attention or rapid fire. (+3 corruption per blast)
Magic Blast: A blast of magic which can do a decent amount of damage. (+7 corruption per blast)
