Puella Magi Imperatrix Mundi, or: Wherein Half Of Japan Tries To Kill You

Consider that we have 2 (and a half, ish) magical girls who have Wish magic that can search for intruders. That other group (Adachi? I forget) was willing to put up with Kaede's bullshit just to get one talented tracker meguca.
 
I don't know I suffered only getting about 4 hours of sleep a day for 6 months and my emotions were fine.
I had trouble seeing text, and would have brief hallucinations of black foggy vaugly people like shapes behind me, and would if doing something mentally taxing fall a sleep for about half a second maybe 3 or 4 times an hour.
But other than being slightly grumpy my emotions really were fine.

If i could sleep say an hour a night and feel rested the day after the day after I would in a heart beat.
 
I just want to say that I am incredibly impressed with this quest. I started reading it recently, binging it all at once, and it has been amazingly well written and the protag had maintained a consistent character.

I have, at least the first show, not any of the side material thats come out. How is that relevant though? I guess Yui is kinda like Yuki, at least in temperament (and PINK!), but Yui is a helluva lot smarter.
 
Can we make POWER armor? We most become more like the Protoss.



Can we fuse with another magical girl? That would be awesome and totally anime.



Yui needs to play some video games with her anime. She can totally take some tips from Artanis. Actually we have our personal Telepath connection that is sort of like the Khala. And generation after generation choose the mantle of Magical Girl.

According to word-of-Echo that I may be misremembering, not only is fusing with other Megucas something Yui can do, she actually nearly did it once! With a witch. Also the process is irreversible and results in the destruction of the original personalities as distinct individuals. So maybe put the idea on hold for now?

Dunno about Power Armor, but Yui doesn't really seem the type to make stuff like that.

Yui's is definitely not a tinker, but I do think that there is something there for the concept of Power Armor for our allies. Our two big ideas are power and savior-ness, so a power that both protects and enhances another meguca isn't too far out of our wheelhouse. It would probably be tricky to pull off, but I can see us making a case for it.

That would be a good complement to the usurpation ability we already have - once we have our own authority, we can grant it to people as if they were using that ability on us - but I don't see it as a protective power. We're acting as a leader and using Power, but delegating responsibility feels like the opposite of protecting, at least in terms of the delegate.

I like the idea that delegating means they act with Our Power. Could we give them some of our abilities or let them spend grief from our pool? Let them become the avatar of Yui? Does this mean we can add ourself to the harem?

When does this update? I want to read more. All this story got me interested in PMMM and I actually made a Magical Girl OC. I putting the finishing details but she's turning out to be a powerhouse that can probably match Yui in collateral damage. Does the OP accept characters?

  1. It's currently on hiatus, which it goes on a lot. It almost went out of hiatus recently.
  2. You'd have to ask @Echo but I think no. Nevertheless, it would be nice to see what you've thought up.

Okay. I'm still finalizing things and the info is all over the place in my chat conversation thing.

So picture Asura from Asura's Wrath, powerful and full of Rage. Like the Hulk but less green and more on fire. Now focus that Rage with hints of Doom Guys hatred of demons and brutal executions. Now you have a MG who's main power is being fucking pissed at witches for killing her pet bunny Daisy and has enough power to set an entire barrier on fire if she gets too worked up.

To make things even more broken her physical stats are even higher the Yui's, though that's more due to being specialized, with regeneration to match. She can also do this special meditation based on catharsis where she burns corruption in the fire of Rage before letting it flow out of her. Essentially she can purify herself without Grief Seeds but slowly.

Mamoru Hitomi is the name I've decided on. Mamoru means "shield that protects others from danger" since it's the given name maybe her family comes from a line of powerful warriors, soldiers and policemen in modern day. Hitomi mean pupil of the eye. I think it can means favorite. The word meaning site I looked said that it is usually given to those with beautiful eyes.

Despite the Rage filled base Mamoru is actually very kind at heart and has a personality based more off of Nausicaa though not exactly. She like protecting people and hates bullies or those that will sacrifice others for the "greater good". The main goal is to actually have be an inspirational figure is basically a shonen protagonist in PMMM which is dark and trippy from what I've seen.







Mamoru's main features would be her long brown hair and her striking golden/brown eyes.







When Hitomi transforms or has a high Rage in base form her hair will turn red and even catch on fire. If this was an anime you would be able to tell her mood based on her hair. Normal people will just see it as a trick of the light or her having red highlights/dyeing her hair.





Despite all this Mamoru isn't invincible but she is tough to fight. You would need a group MG that can hard counter her abilities and even then she might power through on sheer Rage if they aren't careful. Enemies that like taunting or threating her will only make her stronger. This should be enough to give you a rough idea of what she will be like.

This might seem OP and that is sort of the point but it's made even worse since you don't have all her limitations yet. Like how she is a Berserker who needs to land hits on her enemies to really use her power and if someone can lock her down she will be in great danger of losing momentum and being defeated.



One of the songs I think fits her best.

Alright, no offense intended, but she currently seems a bit generic and op. She has a nice name, and you found a bunch of really cool pictures. So, what was her wish? Her weapon (I'm currently assuming gauntlets because Yang)? Her costume (I won't blame you if you can't think one up, since I'm absolutely horrible at dressing up my characters)?

Weapon so far seems to be fire and weapons she materializes from fire like Mami.

Her costume is the first picture with red hair.

Her wish is hard to say into words but the backstory is that a familiar killed her pet bunny and she managed to kill it as a human. Kyubey offers a contract and she focuses all her feelings of loss and fear into her anger. Kyubey is telepathic so that bundle of emotions is her wish and her main desire was to kill the monsters. She is much fleshed out then my summary shows.

Alright, sounds nice. What's her soul gem color? I'm placing my bet on either red or yellow. As for me, I don't really have that many OCs hanging around--the most fleshed out one (and only one I remember right now) is just my headcanon of Elly.

Edit: Actually, I had two and another went and joined.

I mean, you don't know that. Correct me if there's some actual information I missed, but as far as I'm aware, it could be off hiatus and just updating slowly - update 38 was twenty-three days ago, yes, but update 37 was twenty-four days before that. For all we know, we could be getting a new update any day now - it'd fit the pattern so far!:V And then we'd have to wait another month for the next one, but still! We'll just have to keep the thread warm for Echo while we wait.

...Look, I know you're made of pure despair, but a very wise person once said that it is never wrong to hope. I haven't given up, and neither should you!:D

If Yui can gattai like Voltron with another Magical Girl, I can only assume that girl is Tomo. None of the others are even close to the right genre.

EDIT: unless you meant something else by 'fusing', in which case Yui would probably blush and stutter and require a reboot.
