Puella Magi Aemulator Labyrinthum

"Oor we could not charge in against the eldritch abomination made out of despair and bad juju. Kyubey-chan here-" I jerk my thumb toward the girl in question, "-suggested we go find Tomoe. I know which option appeals more to me."
"Tomoe Mami? What timeline are we in anyway?"

All of you enter the Barrier and find yourselves... in a similar environment as before, but instead of a wide open space, you are in a relatively narrow corridor, just wide enough for fifteen people to walk side by side. There are fluorescent lights on the ceiling, but they are flickering and dimly lit. Nothing else is there besides the corridor to... somewhere.
"I'm gonna take a wild guess and say we're supposed to go... that way," I say, pointing down the hall.

"Anyone regconize the one we're fighting? I don't follow the anime much"

"Nnnope." I say, raising my weapon into a better guard position.
"Well, if she's anything like her tetanus dispenser, I'm gonna need a way to fuck people up from afar." I stopped and concentrated on the feeling of power coursing through me, pushing it back into the morningstar like before. This time, instead of letting the power gathered, I tried forcing it out, hopefully into somekind of range attack.

A blast of blue flame shoots out from your weapon, flying down the corridor. It eventually dissipates. (20/1000)

"Cool! I wonder if I can do something like that?"

I concentrate on my weapon, trying to exert my will upon it. Then I swing.

The runes of your falchion glow with golden light as you enchant it with your magic. It doesn't release any sort of energy wave, but you can sense the power reinforcing your blade, making it stronger, lighter and sharper. The glow and the magic eventually dissipates. (37/1000)

The five of you eventually come across a red mark on one of the walls. It is the same symbol you saw at the Barrier entrance, but it is somewhat clumsily painted in blood. Also, you can hear the creaking and groaning sound of metal in the distance.

"Well, no ranged blasts, but it looks like I can improve my sword. Also, I guess we should follow the sound."

I do so.

"Lets go to the area where something that can kill us is waiting, and try to kill them before they can kill us."

I follow the other Meguca, summoning Fueguchi as I do so.

"Look on the bright side! We're all complete strangers so the death of one's not going to set off a spectacular witchifying grief domino."

Meanwhile, two rust familiars, like the one from before, approach you from the front. Also, two hidden mortar turrets deploy from the ceiling in front of you, and begin firing globs of metal dust at an arc towards you. As for the rust familiars, they both expel some metal dust from themselves, affecting all who are near them. They are immune to their own metal dust, though.

I charge up my sword and throw it at the nearest turret. Then I summon two more swords, one for each hand and charge them up before throwing one at a familiar and another at a turret. Then a summon another sword, grab it with both hands and jump forward, trying to smash the remains of the turret (or the nearest familiar if they're already smashed) while yelling, "Aaaaaargh!"

Both hands gripping the morningstar, I leveled it forward in a minigun stance.

"Let see how fast can this baby go..."

Adjusting my aim for the turret, I growled and pumped as much magical power into my weapon as I can, letting fireball after fireball loose.

@munchkinomatic

Five fire blasts impact one turret, causing it to explode violently, sending heated metal dust and shrapnel everywhere. You may have taken damage while you were shooting, though. (70/1000)

@Sereg

The other turret takes two charged swords directly into the barrel, causing it to explode as well, though not as violently, and send metal dust and shrapnel everywhere.

One familiar takes a charged sword, damaging it by a lot, then tries to block your slash, and fails, causing it to take more damage from you. Heavily crippled but still barely alive, it expels more metal dust from itself and tries to swipe at you with its claws. It's slower than usual, though. (All in all, 82/1000)

The other familiar simply expels metal dust, again, affecting all who are near it, then approaches Jessica in an attempt to aid its ally.

I grin, and whip out Fueguchi in one smooth motion, aiming to wrap around the familiar and then smash it repeatedly against the nearest hard surface.

What the Hulk did to Loki, you do to the hapless, and heavy, familiar, the one that tried to help its crippled ally. It expels all of its metal dust right before it dies, though. (5/1000)

The crippled one still stands. What will you do?

I lept back just as the fireballs impacted against the turrets, arm, paudron and weapon shielded me from the worst of the blast. Still, I could feel my skin singed from the heat as little chips of metal grazed at it.

"You know, this situation is just peachy. Fighting self-destruct enemies in cramped space with a 2 meters morningstar and fireballs. You would think whoever designed this outfit would have include more metal bits, yea? I can't seem to fucking kill anything without catching a faceful of goddamn rust!"

With a frustrated roar, I swung the morning star at the remaining familiar, gripping with only one hand and let momentum carry the spiked ball into its .Let hope a range of just under three meters and a sideway profile minimize the damage.

The familiar is finally destroyed, but not before expelling all its remaining metal dust in its last moments.

I took a deep breath and calmed myself as Jessica healed my wound.

"Thank, it's just really goddamn annoying that this keep happening. I wish I had a freaking helmet to go with this bloody armor!"
