Project Moon Related Media Crossover and Fanfic Ideas Thread

So given this now exist, I feel good enough to add my own thoughts. But have to ask before I full go into it. Does anyone here know Dresden Flies?

I haven't heard anything about Dresden Files, though I just searched it up and read the summary on the wiki and it seems pretty interesting.

I hope the boy will at least remind them of Enoch.
Harry main attribute is courage. The boy is closer to the red mist than cute shotaro boy. And on fundamental when you in with a fix fics mind you devalue tge story you are trying to tell.
with that out of the way, here are some probably very half baked ideas.
LC×Danganronpa
so, instead of future foundation recruiting everyone, After getting out, makoto went into hiding because the fragment of despair are haunting him, Not long after he reaches his mewest safe house he received a letter sent by a individual named x, or After getting out everyone saw a man in a lab coat is waiting for them in front of tobviously heavily guarded Front door with multiple machine gun aimed at him
Scenario one, Everyone got a letter.
"... hello? " Makoto says, slowly inching towards the entrance of that very obviously abandoned warehouse...Why did he come here? This is very obviously a trap, but something about that letter just feels compelling, like he must follow it.
In the same time, it feel... Kind of nostalgic, really. The last time he received a letter is from hopes peak academy, A letter congratulating him that he can come over to the best school in the world, We are all the geniuses and people with talents go.
It was always his dream to go there. Of course, everybody hopes to get into the hopes peak academy.
Everyone says if you cangraduate from that school, then there is nothing you need to worry about. Your life is on a set course now and you will have everything you wanted right at your doorstep.
That did not happen to him.
....
All those old memories... Gone, It still feels unreal. Like they haven't gone out the academy, it still feels that junko is watching them, making every step, Laughing from ear to ear...
...
Taking a deep breath, he walks forward, The door of the warehouse cracks open. rusted metal screeching, like they are in pain.
Whoever choose to meet makoto at this god damn place must be wanting to kill him for a long time.
darkness inside of the warehouse, some boxes lying around, A strange Symbol imprinted on them a brain section with a l sticking into it, the things inside of those possibly already rotten or dead...
a liquid is covering the floor... Again, breathing in and breathing out. Makoto hope to god that this isn't the liquid he imagined.
He is always stupid. Isn't he?
He should not have come here, isn't he? He should not have listened to the letter.
he should join the future foundation as soon as possible. Instead of running away covering himself in his own dirty laundry.
The wind blows and the door closes.
The dim light bulb flickers to life.
"So you were alive then, the bastards the foundation lied to me."... That voice!
"That worked? man am i smart! " n-no.
" Oh, t-that is just d-dumb luck! Stop feeding your own ego! "this can't be.
" Oh, settle down you two. at lest makoto is finally here! hey! makoto! haven't seen you for a few years now! How's it going!" This this can't be happening. You're dreaming. You're definitely dreaming. This cannot be happening.
The last one, the ones sitting in the middle chair, she simply stared at you, a bit of disbelief showing in her eyes.
The man standing behind them, walks up,
"... I hate to interrupt this lovely reunion, but, Mr.Makoto, with you here. We can finally start to do business. Your friends here requested me to find you and lead you here or else they would not be cooperating with anything I do . So that's what I did, Hopefully you like this reunion I set up for you. It takes a lot of work to hide you from the eyes of despair."
... You're getting into something you shouldn't be getting into, aren't you?
I am lazy. So I won't take a shot at scenario two Before I have more Free time.

Lobotomy Corp × Harry potter
This one is still on the drawing board. So I'm gonna take some time
And I need to refamiliar myself withthe storyline of one to seven.
Your better off just having the series take place in a nest it much less messy and you don't have to explain why no knows about L Corp.

might as well add my own ideas.

The first is fusion between the first game Lobotomy Corporation. In idea Lobotomy Corporation isn't completely lying about an SCP clone, and abnormalities and leaking into Bet. As Abnormalities can range from Shrimp kidnapping you to work on a fishing board to world ending gods the Endbringers are never awakened.

The other version would involve the sequel Library of Ruina.

In this idea Ziz, Yeets the library to Bet after it was yeeted to the outskirts after the true ending. Now the cast can best described as good people (except Binah) and bad heroes as most of them would not same issues with killing. And in general Bet in much more peaceful the City (not hyperbole considering there is a purge every night in for the poor) and a perspective flip of Worm a crossover character is quite rare.

So given this now exist, I feel good enough to add my own thoughts. But have to ask before I full go into it. Does anyone here know Dresden Flies?

I'm mostly aware of things I got from osmosis and fanfics and was planning to get started on the series in the past. I'll probably get to it as soon as I manage to get through my backlog of LoR Mods (which will take a while).

I also know of at least one LoR/Dresden Files cross on Spacebattles. It had Angela and the Library showing up in DF on Demonreach. Last I checked it hasn't been progressed past Angela negotiating energy supplies with the Genius Loci though.

Gut thoughts about a Pokemon/Library of Ruina fusion

Protagonists are a pick between Mars and Lulu. For simplicity's sake, I'll be posting their teams as we go along. Starters are Oshawott, Scorbunny, and <honestly I don't care about the Grass starter they won't be relevant but probably Chikorita lol>.

Professor Angela hands out the Pokemon for the region, which most definitely has a name that I know. But she rarely ever appears to a would-be trainer in-person, having her Grade 9 Trainer assistant lesser lesser footrest Roland do that kind of menial work instead. Which he does, of course, being the loyal peon that he is. The guy shows up pretty frequently throughout the…game, I guess. Sure this is a game now, let's go with that. He knows pretty much everybody, gives you hints as you progress about typings and where you should and shouldn't go. Never battles you until postgame, but if you're here, you already know how that goes.

Oh, right. Mars and Lulu.

Mars
  • Oshawott
Lulu
  • Scorbunny
What did you expect.

Anyway. San is the Gym Leader of <Streetlight Town>, having recently taken over from the retired Walter. There's been a lot of upheaval lately in the League structure. He's also the guy that originally recommended his juniors to Angela as starter recipients, which is cool. Anyway, given that his Gym is a Ghost gym, there are a lot of Pokemon that learn early non-Normal moves in the early-game tall grass: Rhyhorn, Carvanha in the water, Poochyena and Electrike, etc. Otherwise… yeah. Starter is all but useless here, given they probably don't know any STAB moves yet.

San
  • Shuppet
  • Litwick

Oran Berries only, here. He's a warmup for a reason.

His Gym Trainers are Julia and Isadora, who use… idk, both use Honedge and Drifloon as their aces? Just to make things really unpleasant.

Moving on rapidly. There's probably a rival battle right about here:

Mars:
  • Oshawott
  • Rhyhorn
Lulu
  • Scorbunny
  • Mankey
Lulu did not choose a good second Pokemon to take on San's Gym with. Otherwise there is nothing special going on here.

Moving onto Gym two. Maybe this is a version thing, maybe this is just player choice. But Roland exposits that there are two Gyms in <Molar-Dog Town>, with two Gym Leaders that each hand out the same badge, not unlike Stow-On Side from Galar. Both Fighting types, though.

Olga
  • Galarian Farfetch'd
  • Crabrawler
  • Gurdurr

Gyeong-Mi
  • Pancham
  • Riolu
  • Machoke

If you know Pokemon Evolution levels, you'll probably note that I'm implying that each one of these guys' aces are at least level 25. Which is correct! Yeah, good chance that either there's a lot of story between gyms or some grinding will be necessary. IDK, I'm not a game designer. My only bit of snark is that Gyeong-Mi's Machoke is underleveled, to crack a joke about Scratch That.

Oh, uh. Rain and Mika have aces of Timburr and Tyrogue. Zulu and Dino have a jump-kicking Mienfoo and a slightly more consistent Machop respectively.

As we move into <Dawn Town>, we get our first hint of Plot: Team Reverb (or whatever, I'll probably just call them the Ensemble anyway) is causing havoc with highly nebulous goals in mind. They're led by Eileen, who deigns to fight you.

Eileen
  • Koffing
  • Koffing
  • Klink

Yeah… I got nothing to say here. Smoke and gears.

After being beaten, she makes nebulous mention of causing trouble for Professor Angela before retreating as Pokemon villains do. Roland is worried about this, and dips to go warn his boss. In the meantime, there's a Gym to challenge! Salvador's still washed up as a trainer, even in this continuity, but that doesn't stop him from being a competent third Gym Leader.

Salvador
  • Ninetales
  • Castform
  • Carkol
  • Armarouge
Salvador will always try to set up Sunny weather if it is not currently Sunny. Otherwise, he's got regular AI.

Oh right, and Philip is there too. Whatever, he probably won't be important. Yuna's ace is a lone overleveled Centiscorch, and frankly she sounds a lot more interesting.

Philip
  • Darumaka
  • Charcadet

Probably a Rival battle here?

Lulu
  • Raboot
  • Mankey
  • Carvanha
Mars
  • Dewott
  • Rhyhorn
  • Munna

Mars doesn't really need the type coverage to deal with Salvador's gym. Lulu, meanwhile, does. Hence the Carvanha. Pretty sure starters should be evolving around here, too.

Anyway. Uh. There's probably an optional encounter with Full-Stop Office around here, as well as a more interesting set of battles with Wedge. I can't be arsed to come up with Pokemon for them, though, so lets move right along.

Either the Kurokumo clan or the Musicians of Bremen block the exit to Urban Plague—I mean, Salvador's town. Depends on version differences You need his badge to challenge Sayo, who… definitely has a team that exists. Yes. Surely. Once you beat her, the rest of her goons seem poised to try and stop you anyway, only for Tanya to come along and tell them to fuck off.

Roland rejoins you around here and starts talking about how cool (and horrendously out of your league) the next Gym Leader is. Yujin is a Dark-type specialist who, for most intents and purposes, you should not be challenging this early into your Pokemon Journey. She's on the level of Olivier or Esther. He recommends skipping her for later. Except… well.

The Musicians of Bremen have been causing havoc around town for the last several days, and for all of Yujin's battling prowess, she's not having a good time. You help out, beat up Meow, Oink, and Mumu (they challenge you to a triple battle, where they each send out one Pokemon) and then finally get to challenge Yujin's gym. She recommends you tackle her now, and the way that video games work, it's not like you have a choice.

Oh, right. Philip is helping out too, trying to be a hero or something. You fight him too.

Philip 2
  • Charcadet
  • Darumaka
  • Fletchinder
His team is hilariously underleveled for this junction. It should not be difficult to beat the shit out of him.

As for someone that actually matters…

Yujin
  • Grimmsnarl (Paralysis)
  • Weavile (Burn)
  • Drapion (Frozen)
  • Greninja (Poison)
  • Hydreigon (Sleep)

Yeah. Yujin's team is… borderline competitively viable. However, her levels have been dunked into the ground to ~level 35ish? Additionally, every one of her Pokemon starts with a debilitating status condition as listed above. Makes it slightly harder for her fully evolved team to sweep yours.

Uh… Valentin's team has a Cacturne which spams Solar Beam. Tenma has a Speed Boost Sharpedo. Both of them also have status condition issues. Probably.

There's more Reverb Ensemble shit coming right along. Emma and Noah are causing trouble under the supervision of Oswald, and challenge you to a Double Battle.

Noah
  • Mime Jr.
Emma
  • Copperajah
  • Passimian
  • Pyroar

Yeah. So Noah's Mime Jr. is Level 1. And Emma's Pokemon are all overleveled to compensate for the fact that they're going to get 2v1ed in a Double Battle. Just to the cusp of evolving, in the mid-thirties. They get rebuffed, Roland starts getting really curious about this Ensemble thing, and the player moves right along.

There's probably a mandatory side battle against Rose. You know, the W Corp guys? They exist. Definitely.

Rose
  • Manectric
  • Duraludon
  • Chill Rotom
  • Xurkitree

Rose is a noted step down from Yujin. Her Pokemon are technically slightly higher level, but she did not study team composition back in Trainer School. As long as your Ground-type attacker/defender is decently fast, she is easily sweepable. Oh also W Corp does portals, which means Ultra Beasts. I guess.

Following this battle, you get assaulted by Jae-Heon.

Jae-Heon
  • Banette
  • Golett
  • Claydol

Artificial Pokemon. That is all.

Moving into Star of the City… Our good friend Esther is next, leading the Psychic-type Gym with his weird group of cultists. But first there's a mildly menacing shark to clear out of the way first…

Greta
  • Dondonzo
  • Wishiwashi
  • Dachsbun
  • Sharpedo

We get a lot of Sharpedos, here. Also I hate the idea that Greta eats her own Pokemon, but at the same time I refuse to believe she wouldn't.

And then we —Oh this guy again huh

Philip
  • Talonflame
  • Magcargo
  • Runerigus
  • Lycanroc (Midnight Form)

Philip's been going through a whole arc in the background. He's ditched his partner Pokemon, cooled down, become a rock-type trainer, probably punched a bunch of children or something idk, and overall is not having a good time. I wonder if he would get his own theme?

…Nah.

And then we fight Esther. Roland is fed up with all these delays.

Esther
  • Mr. Rime
  • Beheeyem
  • Slowking
  • Orbeetle
  • Xatu

I honestly don't give a shit about this guy and his gym. He exists. He's a Psychic-type trainer. He Psychics. His Pokemon know Psychic (most of them). Need I say more? No? Great. He might've been a Grass trainer under different circumstances, but fuck those.

Yan is on vacation. He'll be back later probably.

Been awhile since the last Rival battle.

Lulu
  • Sharpedo
  • Cinderace
  • Primeape
  • Dreepy

Mars
  • Musharna
  • Samurott
  • Rhydon
  • Dratini

These teams are starting to actually come together. Whaddyaknow.

Uhhhh Elena exists and I don't care about her. Frankly I don't give a shit about Pluto either so lets just move onto the next Gym.

Nikolai's Gym is an Electric-type one, Roland exposits. And her trainers (Myo, Rudolph, Maxim) also all use Electric types. Maxim's ace is Electivire. Rudolph's is Zebstrika. Myo has a Light Ball Pikachu.

As for the woman herself…

Nikolai
  • Magnezone
  • Raichu
  • Luxray
  • Galvantula
  • Iron Thorns

Nikolai… probably has type coverage moves for Ground-types. And that's all I'm willing to say about her. If I were to keep in the spirit of Project Moon, I should probably have you fight her twice. But I'm not feeling it.

There's probably a detour involving Lowell, here. He mentions that his wife got promoted to the Elite Four, after having once been a Gym Leader or something idk. Then another Rival Battle.
Mars
  • Musharna
  • Samurott
  • Rhydon
  • Dragonair
  • Lunatone

Lulu
  • Sharpedo
  • Cinderace
  • Primeape
  • Drakloak
  • Solrock
No particular comment.

There's a suspicious lack of Reverb Ensemble stuff here, as Roland points out. Still, nothing better to do than move on to the eighth gym, with his good friend Olivier. They have a nice reunion. No double-edge to this rencounter.

Olivier
  • Blissey
  • Snorlax
  • Bewear
  • Obstagoon
  • Unfezant

Olivier's dangerous for two reasons.
  1. His Pokemon have really good IVs, to pay homage to The Twelve Fixers.
  2. He switches out his Pokemon.
Other than that he's just another Gym Leader, no problem, moving right along.

Time to challenge the Elite Four! They're supposed to be composed entirely of Colors, but one moved up, and the Vermillion Cross vanished under mysterious circumstances, so we've only got three. Xiao is more than competent enough to fill in that final slot.

Speaking of which!

Xiao
  • Drampa
  • Charizard
  • Kommo-o
  • Gyarados
  • Turtonator

None of these Elite Four members have monotype teams. Xiao ostensibly is a Dragon-type trainer, but in reality it's more like 'anything Chinese-Dragon based and also fire lots of fire.'

Argalia
  • Tinkaton
  • Wigglytuff
  • Whimsicott
  • Hatterene
  • Altaria

The Blue Reverberation almost manages to have all Fairy types. Tinkaton wields a weapon to represent his scythe, Wigglytuff and Whimsicott know Sing and Grasswhistle respectively, because Music™, Hatterene represents his nasty personality, and Altaria is meant to be that fluffy mess he calls hair.

Iori
  • Arbok
  • Seviper
  • Steelix
  • Milotic
  • Serperior

The Purple Tear is ostensibly a Poison-type trainer. But practically speaking, she's more of a snake-type trainer. Prior to entering the Elite Four, Roland mentions that Iori is strong enough to be able to take the championship from his wife (oh by the way his wife is the champion), but she seems content with simply being a roadblock on the way instead. Who knows what goes on in that woman's head.

Much like Olivier, she also likes to switch around her Pokemon a lot.

Kali
  • Gigalith
  • Scizor
  • Excadrill
  • Kabutops
  • Garchomp

Kali laughs at your feeble attempts at typing, with a mix of Ground, Steel, and Rock types. Sandstorm-based team, that intents to sweep you down as quickly as possible. Expect abuse of Sand Rush, Swords Dance, and Garchomp.

Kali also stands a fair chance at becoming the champion, and in fact has gone for it at least once. Failed.

Finally, after all that, we've got Angelica.

Angelica
  • Primarina
  • Salamence
  • Magmortar
  • Eelektross
  • Tyranitar
  • Houndstone

Yeah… I'm not going to lie. This is nasty. Solid mix of physical and special attackers, with levels in the seventies. Her ace is Tyranitar, but her ace in the hole is Houndstone, who is primed and ready to sweep your entire (remaining) team with 300 Power Choice Band-boosted Last Respects. If you didn't bring a Normal-type, you may need to start over from the beginning.

And that's it! That's the Hall of Fame! You're the champion!

There is, of course, a postgame.

First, Gym Leader rematches.

San
  • Banette
  • Drifblim
  • Alolan Marowak
  • Dhlemise
  • Chandelure

Still a Ghost-type team.

Olga
  • Sirfetch'd
  • Crabominable
  • Gallade
  • Heracross
  • Machamp

Gyeong-Mi
  • Pangoro
  • Lucario
  • Poliwrath
  • Hariyama
  • Conkeldurr

Only noteworthy thing here is that they trade-evolved their Aces, swapping them in the process. This doesn't change much, since Conkeldurr and Machamp are… mostly the same Pokemon.

Salvador
  • Ninetales
  • Castform
  • Coalossal
  • Galarian Darmanitan
  • Armarouge

Salvador tries out an Ice-type on his Fire-type team. Man, he really is washed up. I mean, it kind of becomes a Fire type if it gets below half health?

Yujin
  • Grimmsnarl
  • Weavile
  • Drapion
  • Greninja
  • Scrafty
  • Hydreigon

Yujin's team is both up to par, level-wise, and is no longer hampered by all those pesky status conditions. Her Hydreigon ace has a Life Orb, and the rest all have various held items to make them significantly more annoying. Focus Sash on Weavile, Poison Gem on Drapion, etc. All sorts of bullshit.

Esther
  • Mr. Rime
  • Beheeyem
  • Slowking
  • Orbeetle
  • Metagross
  • Xatu

I continue to have nothing to say about Esther.

Yan will be back from vacation any day now, I promise.

Nikolai
  • Magnezone
  • Raichu
  • Luxray
  • Galvantula
  • Iron Hands
  • Iron Thorns

More Paradox Pokemon. Blame it on R Corp.

Olivier
  • Blissey
  • Snorlax
  • Bewear
  • Obstagoon
  • Unfexant
  • Silvally

Oh, Olivier got a new ace. I couldn't think of anything particularly interesting to give the guy other than Silvally.

…Probably should wrap up that main plot, huh.

The Pokemon League closes for business after you beat it the first time. Something about how half of the Elite Four up and vanished.

After beating the Champion, Professor Angela (via Roland) invites you to a Battle Tower-thing she calls the Library, some kind of battling gauntlet. It operates similarly to the PWT from B/W2, and a couple of the other fixed level battle arenas throughout the games: Pokemon levels are set to ~50, and pitched up against a gauntlet of battles in format. Finally, you get to confront the boss of the floor and, if you succeed, get cool prizes or something.

The Library uses simulations of powerful Pokemon to gather data for some mysterious project of Angela's. That's how it works lorewise, definitely.

Oh right, one quick rival battle before you get to go in.

Mars
  • Musharna
  • Samurott
  • Rhyperior
  • Dragonite
  • Glimmora
  • Quagsire

Lulu
  • Sharpedo
  • Cinderace
  • Annihilape
  • Dragopult
  • Kilowattrel
  • Pyroar

Huh, these are almost usable. One pseudo-Legendary, one starter, decent type coverage, and vague utility.

Anyway. How the Library works: when you first enter, you have access to the first four floors: of History, Technology, Literature, and Art. You choose one floor to take on, choose four Pokemon to take with you, and face a gauntlet of four trainers, each with four Pokemon between two specific types. After those four trainers, you get to face off against the Patron Librarian of the floor, who usually brings some extra flavor of bullshit to the table.

Each Patron Librarian chooses three random Pokemon from their possible set. Then they add on the final Pokemon in their list, which is usually a Legendary or Mythical of some sort.

Malkuth (Fire/Grass)
  • Hisuian Typhlosion
  • Ursaluna
  • Hisuian Lilligant
  • Vespiquen
  • Ferrothorn
  • Moltres

Yeah… Malkuth is a pyromaniac. Moving on.

Yesod (Electric/Steel)
  • Steelix
  • Kartana
  • Revavroom
  • Iron Moth
  • Inteleon
  • Landorous

Yesod's preferred format is Double Battles. He likes focusing down one Pokemon at a time with severe damage and speed. Or sitting there and tanking hits I guess. If you've played Library of Ruina, you know how Yesod's floor plays.

Hod (Flying/Bug)
  • Mimikyu
  • Kleavor
  • Ariados
  • Dragapult
  • Falinks
  • Lugia

In this case, the brothers are represented by the segments of Falinks, while the Swan is Lugia. Also why does Hod's floor have so many bugs on it…

Netzach (Psychic/Poison)
  • Minior
  • Clefable
  • Serperior
  • Florges
  • Galarian Slowking
  • Deoxys (Defense Forme)

Galarian Slowking as the Silent Orchestra… I honestly couldn't think of a better candidate outside of Meloetta, who is someone else's ace. At least Serperior as Porccubus is a hilarious image if nothing else.

Tiphereth (Ghost/Ice)
  • Hatterene
  • Gothitelle
  • Annihilape
  • Sableye
  • Blacephalon
  • Regigigas

Tiphereth likes Rotation Battles. They were a thing in Generation V and never again. Anyway, with Regigigas on a team, that suddenly becomes a slight issue. All of her Pokemon are strong against Fighting types, which are one of the best ways to whittle down Regigigas's tremendous health and defense. Meanwhile, the Slow Start counter keeps ticking down…

I could've done Gholdengo instead of Sableye. But from what I've read, Gholdengo is very generous with its money. Which is the opposite of greedy.

Gebura/Kali (Fighting/Ground)
  • Scizor
  • Mightyena
  • Spiritomb
  • Gliscor
  • Garchomp
  • Koraiadon

I think this iteration of Kali's team is actually weaker than her Elite Four one. Still, you've gotta make sacrifices to fit with the silly Abnormality theme.

I would've switched Scizor for Dustox (for the whole revenge thing), but I just couldn't take Gebura using a Bug/Poison type seriously.

Chesed (Water/Rock)
  • Reuniclus
  • Dusknoir
  • Spinda
  • Golisopod
  • Slowbro
  • Rayquaza

Have you ever encountered a Slowbro spamming Amnesia? Then you'll get how he's slotting in for Ozma. Also, Chesed is a fan of Triple Battles. Because teamwork and all that. You know.

Binah (Dark/Fairy)
  • Liepard
  • Pyukumuku
  • Chi-Yu
  • Ultra Necrozma

Binah is a cheating cheater who cheats. Her team is always exactly the same. And she brings two different Legendaries to the table (as well as two somewhat mediocre stand-ins for Big Bird and Punishing Bird).

Hokma (Normal/Dragon)
  • Giratina
  • Dialga
  • Palkia
  • Arceus

I take it back there's a bigger cheater.

Before you get to unlock General Works, there's a bit of an Uninvited Guests problem. See, Angela's getting pretty close to collecting all that data she was looking for. And for whatever reason, Argalia and the Ensemble wants it. Cue the boss rush.

Philip
  • Lycanroc (Midnight Form)
  • Runerigus
  • Magcargo
  • Talonflame
  • Darmanitan
  • Ceruledge

Oh right. This guy again. At least he brought his old Pokemon back.

Eileen
  • Weezing
  • Alolan Weezing
  • Torkoal
  • Bronzong
  • Revavroom
  • Klinklang

Smoke and gears. Smoke and gears.

Greta
  • Dachsbun
  • Slurpuff
  • Wishiwashi
  • Veluza
  • Dondozo
  • Sharpedo

I feel really bad for Greta's Pokemon.

Bremen
  • Blaziken
  • Staraptor
  • Rapidash
  • Mudsdale
  • Arcanine
  • Mabosstiff

The Musicians of Bremen, not being a horrible conglomerate of animal heads anymore, face you in a Triple Battle, where they each send out two Pokemon.

Oswald
  • Copperajah
  • Pyroar
  • Passimian
  • Primarina
  • Bisharp
  • Mr. Mime

I think Oswald stole Emma and Noah's Pokemon.

Tanya
  • Granbull
  • Lycanroc (Midday Form)
  • Furfrou
  • Mightyena
  • Lucario

Tanya has slightly fewer Pokemon than the rest of the Ensemble, but each one is higher level to compensate.

Jae-Heon
  • Porygon-2
  • Banette
  • Arctovish
  • Dracozolt
  • Golurk
  • Claydol

Porygon 2 has Eviolite. Otherwise, there's not much to say about the Puppeteer's team.

Elena
  • Heliolisk
  • Gengar
  • Noivern
  • Yanmega
  • Gliscor

Elena remains a joke.

Pluto
  • Dusknoir

Pluto copies the first 5 members of your team, but raises the level of all Pokemon by 2. If you don't have a full party, all remaining Pokemon are replaced with copies of his Dusknoir.

Argalia, when you get to him, reveals that the Pokemon you just defeated are all hungry for more, and challenges you to a very stupid 18-on-6 (I hope you have six Pokemon) gauntlet, involving all the aces of the defeated Ensemble members, plus his own Elite Four-level team of seven.

Argalia
  • Ceruledge
  • Klinklang
  • Sharpedo
  • Staraptor
  • Mudsdale
  • Mabosstiff
Argalia
  • Mr. Mime
  • Lucario
  • Claydol
  • Gliscor
  • Dusknoir
  • Tinkaton
Argalia
  • Wigglytuff
  • Whimsicott
  • Altaria
  • Scyther
  • Hatterene
  • Meloetta

And that's the ensemble. There's probably more plot in there somewhere, but this is long enough as-is. Angelica comes down from Victory Road to chastise her brother and tell him off for being a dummy. Kali retires from the Elite Four to work at the Library full-time, necessitating a replacement. General Works opens up for challenging, whose trainers can have Pokemon of any type. Oh, and Roland is finally battleable at the end of it.

Roland
  • Rillaboom
  • Alakazam
  • Baxcalibur
  • Rhyperior
  • Chandelure
  • Zygarde

Rillaboom's beating drums for the Heart of Aspiration, Trace Alakazam for Pinocchio, Baxcalibur for the Snow Queen, Rhyperior with Hammer Arm to pretend at Silent Girl, and Chandelure who… I dunno, steals life force and makes you depressed to imitate Bloodbath. Definitely checks out.

Oh, also the Elite Four is open for business again.

Xiao
  • Drampa
  • Charizard
  • Kommo-o
  • Gyarados
  • Turtonator
  • Reshiram

Nothing new here.

Yan
  • Malamar
  • Gothitelle
  • Xatu
  • Galarian Slowbro
  • Gardevoir
  • Nihilego

Oh, Yan finally got back from vacation! How convenient. We still have an Elite Four. Nihilego isn't exactly a Psychic-type, but I ain't complaining.

Iori
  • Scolipede
  • Seviper
  • Steelix
  • Milotic
  • Serperior
  • Eternatus

Oh huh. Iori actually picked up more Poison-types than last time. That's fifty percent. Crazy.

Argalia
  • Tinkaton
  • Wigglytuff
  • Whimsicott
  • Hatterene
  • Altaria
  • Meloetta

Argalia's team has not changed significantly. All she's done is picked up Meloetta.

Angelica
  • Primarina
  • Salamence
  • Mewtwo
  • Dracovish
  • Tyranitar
  • Aegislash

Angelica's traded out some of the old cheese for some new cheese. Fishious Rend and Mewtwo in general, mostly. Mewtwo is her new ace, but is in this weird order mostly to avoid taking unnecessary Tyranitar Sandstorm damage.

Other random shit… Philip has one final rematch.

Philip
  • Runerigus
  • Magcargo
  • Darmanitan
  • Talonflame
  • Solrock
  • Ceruledge

Finally ditched one of those rock-types.

Also the rival.

Mars
  • Alolan Sandslash
  • Samurott
  • Rhyperior
  • Dragonite
  • Glimmora
  • Quagsire
Lulu
  • Alcremie
  • Cinderace
  • Annihilape
  • Dragopult
  • Kilowattrel
  • Pyroar

And I think that's about it.

This took way too much time. Never again.

EDIT: Lets see... I forgot <literally all of Canard>, Pierre's Bistro, Carnival (eh), Gaze, Love Town, Smiling Faces, Sweepers(?), Thumb, and Cane.

Could be worse.

I can see there's a bunch of side quest. Involving them.
canard Can be just some random Someone robbed me. Please go catch them with your pokemon! quest
pierre can be. Ok. I have these ingredients I need you to catch for me. And it is actually A list of food related pokemons. You can choose to not give her the ingredients, but if you give her, she will give you some big reward Like Left-over but op.
The carnival, Team reverb actually hates them so they will work with you to Kick them off their turf.
Gaze office can be a time sensitive quest where you have to go to a specific town with in set time to catch an event that they cannot go themself.
Love town is a flower shop where team reverb is trying to rob. Go beat them up.
Smiling faces, yujin. Ask you to fetch a item for her before the fight. It is a doll called...(si Association section one directors name) You find the doll. The doll was already torn up by the Smiling faces. So yujin goes to punish them.
The sweepers are just let a bunch of sweepers, they all havesome kind of mud or garbage related pokemon on them
And they will Challenge you as soon as they sees you.
The thumbs is dead, period.
The messengers from somewhere saw their illegal activity and decided to report it to the legion.
You go to their original base of operation and search for stuff like the messenger wants to get.
cane office scammed you.
You tell roland that and he decided to visit them.

O do now it as well, but my main thoughts kinda need some experience on Dresden side. As while I have thoughts on how LOR Light and such can interact with Dresden. I do want other thoughts on it.

...
Somehow this feels more thought out than Kaliquest...
No offense.
None taken. And believe it or not, it isn't, regardless of how haphazardly the Quest actually started.

All I did for this story idea was scan Bulbapedia and Pokemon Showdown for a couple of hours, haphazardly come up with a plot within fifteen minutes, and format it in a vaguely presentable fashion.

MeanWhen I finally committed to taking my disjointed RWBY/Project Moon ideas and putting them to paper, I spent hours plotting and outlining what the story would likely be like, the main plot beats, the primary antagonists, etc. There were a couple of routes to take, and one of them is admittedly more well thought-out than the other. But I... feel like I had a plan for how the story would go at pretty much every junction, save for if the Questers started somehow wantonly murdering all of Remnant's inhabitants.

This probably contributed to its lack of popularity as a Quest. By so rigidly outlining how the plot would go, I might have cut off a lot of meaningful choice. And by using a character with such a strong, consistent, heroic personality, that further cut down on any interesting avenues.

The Yan Quest would have been a better idea. Because when it comes to the Prescripts... anything goes.

Not exactly? While I do admit, that perhaps the Quest is less popular because we play a character like Kali (who isn't exactly the most engaging of person), I don't think your hyper planning is anything to worry about.

I think it's mostly Kali, and also, how...lame(?)...the RWBY world is. You would need ALOT to really spice it up.

Bloody Evolution itself needed 5 separate characters from the main quester. Alongside an interesting mystery deuteragonist in the form of Ash. With a controversial "evil" main character.

And even then, Bloody Evolution loses steam after a while. In the segment where Naron isn't giving us extremely divisive decisions, there isn't as much hype or votes in it.

I also think the way the quest started so haphazardly is actually one of the contributory reasons why it kinda failed to pull people in. There weren't nearly enough "discussions" during the early stage of the quest to pull interest.

With Human Resources, it was X's Shell, Character, and First E.G.O. With Bloody Evolution, it's the Book, and the Wing or not.

They both have fairly divisive choices to start with.

And another thing is...while I don't like to say things related to myself, I think because of my religious-level dedicated posting and Nyarky's, generating ahem "controversial" opinions or just discussing things with people, artificially boosted the "engagement" of those 2 Quest somewhat.

I'll take your word for it.

That aside... I just spent about half an hour discussing a very silly PM canon divergence, spurred on by JMG5/SpectrumCore on the Project Moon Discord with this drawing:

As you can see, this is Full-Stop Office dressed in the outfits of the Musicians of Bremen. The question becomes: how do we get here?

The main conceit of this idea is thus: Full-Stop Office is not contracted to deal with Eileen, and thus doesn't die in the Library and remains available for Yujin to delegate some other stuff to. Maybe Argalia picks up Eileen hassle-free, maybe he's a little late and whoever else might've been contracted to do the job kills the Church of Gears leader before he gets there to save her ass. Either way, Liwei, Tamaki, and Stephan remain available to Do Fixer Things.

As such, instead of going into the Library personally and trying to retrieve the books of the Musicians of Bremen, Yujin delegates the task to Full-Stop Office while they're still alive. The task is, more or less, 'to gather information on the Musicians of Bremen and how they are involved in the Blue Reverberation's plots. Also, neutralize them.'

So they do some basic City-enhanced reconnaissance, bugging the place while the Musicians are out smashing up one of Oink's supermarkets. Turns out Mumu and Oink are newer members of the band, to the point where Meow doesn't even think the original members would recognize them without their masks on. Speaking of which, they went off with the Blue Reverberation and haven't been seen since, though they're going to come by for a check-in at some point. Gotta make that music, after all.

Also, they plan on heading into the Library for fun and profit. Full-Stop can't have that. They still need information.

So not long before Meow signs the invitation, our erstwhile Urban Plague gunners load up on ammunition and sally forth to shoot the shit out of the animal-themed instrumentalists. The plan is to keep at least one of them alive for interrogation, ideally Meow, seeing as she actually seems to know things. Unfortunately, things don't quite go as planned: Meow has Speed, Mumu has Heavy Peaks, and things get hairy really quickly. At the end of the day, Full-Stop's alpha strike capabilities secure them the win without any injuries or casualties, but all of their opponents end up dead in the process.

They still grab the corpses for a hypothetical brain/information extraction, of course. The hope is that Shi Association will pay for it (and also recoup the costs of all the bullets they splurged on.) Unfortunately, they're too late. Thelma tasks Shi Section 2 with dealing with the Library, and Yujin, being the rules-obsessed honor-bound character that she is, goes in and gets booked. There's a new Director of Shi Section 2.

Here's the problem: the Musicians of Bremen thing was... kind of off the books. Yujin didn't want Thelma catching wind of what she was planning, and subsequently didn't make any official record of this particular assignment. Liwei, having known Yujin for a good bit, rightfully trusted her to pay up the due amount regardless, and not scam them once the deed was done. But seeing as she's dead now, her successor isn't nearly so trusting, didn't know anything about the assignment, and doesn't pay up.

This leaves Full-Stop in a severe financial pickle. They can't risk the Library, seeing how Yujin died in there and she was way stronger than Full-Stop Office. They wouldn't stand a chance. Besides, they're all out of bullets; Liwei's the only one of the group competent in melee combat, and even then he's kind of mediocre. And while they're still technically sponsored by Shi Association, that doesn't mean much now that their main contact is dead. They can't expect support there.

It's at this point that Stephan makes a truly absurd observation, looking at the now-useless corpses of the Musicians of Bremen: doesn't Tamaki kind of look a lot like Meow? The resemblance is almost uncanny. (Btw, if you look at the game files and remove Meow's mask, I'm pretty sure they just reused Tamaki's facial sprites under there. They are really similar). Liwei has a very silly, stupid idea that will likely get them all killed. If Tamaki can pull this off... well, like Meow said. Bremen doesn't know Oink and Mumu very well. Their builds are... similar enough. All they have to do is pretend to be good at music, and they can definitely do that, right? Right?

Desperate and soon-to-be evicted, the trio throws on some silly animal masks and prepares to try and scam the Reverberation Ensemble.

When Bremen arrives, the ruse (barely) works. It's not like they can understand each other anyway. Tamaki kind of sort of treats the now-three-headed Distortion monster as an old friend, bullshits some musical lingo, makes up a whole story about 'oh, some stupid office came in and tried to shoot us up, but we killed them and took their guns as trophies' to explain the bullet holes and newfound arms, and Bremen buys it. Then he picks them up as goons for the Reverberation Ensemble, thrusting the trio into a whole new pool of danger.

At this point, my plotting breaks down into just... a bunch of disconnected disjointed scenes.

I'm imagining one particular scene in which Bremen, through Tanya's/Greta/Argalia's translation, asks the disguised Full-Stop members to perform with them for the rest of the Ensemble. at which point they do the most godawful terrible painful rendition of music anyone has ever devised. It holds absolutely no value whatsoever and sounds like misery. Thankfully, it turns out that Bremen has always been terrible, and while Tanya covers her ears in pain, Argalia twitches at the affront to his artistic sensibilities, and Full-Stop sweats enough to fill an ocean, they all make it out alive.

Oh, speaking of Argalia. He's no dummy. He's wise to the whole gambit. He's met the original Musicians of Bremen. However, he lets it slide because 1. it's funny watching them squirm all the time 2. Bremen seems happier with their supposed 'friends' around and 3. when he drops a hint to Liwei telling him that he knows what's up, the Grade 4 Fixer tries to shoot the Blue Reverberation in the face, and that's just the cherry on top of this whole sundae of ridiculousness right there. Plus, now that Full-Stop knows that he knows, they won't be able to run away easily anymore. They'll have to contend with a Color looking for them, tracking them down...

It's a terrifying thought.

Anyway. As far as outs for this situation go, I came up with three mildly good ones.

  1. Liu Assocation. When Argalia goes to recruit the rampaging Crying Children, instead of Oswald, he brings Bremen and Full-Stop along instead. And upon seeing Xiao go head-to-head with Argalia and end up no worse for wear, they decide that this is the ideal time to bail. They've heard about Xiao from Yujin here and there, and supposedly she's trustworthy enough. So they ditch Bremen, shoot at Argalia uselessly, and run into the Liu Association's waiting(?) arms with their hands in the air, waving a figurative white flag.
  2. The Purple Tear. Iori casually hints to Full Stop that they should probably sign that Library invitation they've still got lying around. And after blatantly exposing them in front of the entire rest of the Ensemble after the confrontation with Argalia, much to poor Bremen's shock, Stephan, cursing the Color the whole time, frantically steals Argalia's pen and signs it. Once inside the Library, Iori smiles mysteriously, tells them that she finds this turn of events just as hilarious as Argalia, porting them out while staying inside the Library herself.
  3. The Index/Yan. Yeah... you can justify anything with Prescripts. Whether it's Esther stealing them while Full-Stop salvages ammunition from Thumb corpses, Distorted (or hell, even unDistorted) Yan barging in and rescuing their asses for no particular reason, or even just run-of-the-mill Proselytes, the Index is a great deus ex machina for this kind of stupidity. If it's Distorted Yan doing this, even odds that he joins the Ensemble afterward, for a little bit of canon divergence. For fun. And profit.
And that's all I wrote.

I just want to pitch the idea of fate X project moon where Ayako manage summon Ayin as a saver class servant when she got kidnapped by shinji

Reason: Ayako is underrepresented characters in type moon fanfic, and I cannot write for shit

Tbh...

All Saver class servants seem to be high out of their minds. Jesus the Prince of Peace. Buddha the Enlightened.

If one is running around, oof. Things are going very very wrong.

I mean with gill running around, angra mainyu infected the grail, zouken refused to die and making back door grail (sakura), and corupted sakura/ corrupted servant, and the priest that like the suffering of people as a overseers? Yeah that particular grail war is already fucked to begin with. So let's throw ayin to the mix

Not even the Beasts can make a Saver move.

I'm telling you. A Saver will only appear if a True Demon is poking around or something.
