Powder, Gears, and Blessed Steam - A WHF Engineering Quest

It's a corpse, not a lump of warpstone, still flesh and blood, she does not even seem to be mutated. Simply using dhar does not make the body physically corrupting.
I still don't want to risk it. She may not use that much dhar like other necromancers and dark mages, but better not risk it and just give her to witch hunters when we prove that she is a necromancer.

I mean if we find such proof sure. Odds are good we won't though, in which case we will have to dispose of the body. Burning it is traditional and the forge is convenient and private. I honestly cannot think of a single example in all warhammer where the smoke from a dead warlock/necromancer's incineration was a problem.

I distinctly recall that burning actually does purify corruption, although not as well as divine power or Hysh. That's the reason why witches are burned.
However, I might be mistemembering or quoting a source that was struck from canon.

[X] Look at you medallion for clues

As much as I want to purge the witch, if we're wrong this is going to be an early game over lmao

[X] Fire upon the fallen priest.

But yeah, after rereader this chapter it makes more since now. We have spirits pointing at the suppose priest that has dark chains into other spirits. Those free spirits look like they do not like the so called priest.

Edit: changing my vote. Check both chapters before to understand why.

Guys this lady is a necromancer on the prowl with the Green moon in the sky. If we start looking at holy symbols of her supposed god there is every chance of Margret eating a spell to the face and we have no protection against that. Even something as minor as Magic Dart could be deadly and if she is the kind of use proper Dhar offensively and not just for harvesting spirits... well it gets worse (TM).

I looked up the translation for Gromdottir. It means daughter of Grom.....
In Khazalid, Grom can mean brave or defiant. So rather than literally being the daughter of someone named Grom for some reason, it seems more likely that Gramps knew one of Margaret's parents and considered them a brave or defiant person. If so, it also kind of expresses a sort of expectation that Margaret has a somewhat similar nature.
