Considering the entire point of Pain is a Teacher, that's a bold statement to make, and considering everything that happened with Metalhead didn't kill us, I think we're beyond the point of a gun inconveniencing us overmuch, first move or otherwise. Besides, they're both stupid options, compared to bringing up Metalhead- actually 'earnestly referring to our virtues' sounds like it could be a fucking riot- but one of those stupid options doesn't involve insulting him and his men while he's got a gun to our head.

I like a good balance between "we can take a hit" and "we can dish out a hit". And right now? Hitting your prospective employer? Not a good entry on your resume. Taking a hit from them? Better.

I feel like this goes incredibly well with "I am the violently insane lunatic that can change the tide of battle" because yeah, he's covered in bandages, they're not there because he's slowed down so much as because bleeding on everything would be impolite.

I will laugh if it turns out that Kirishima is playing Russian Roulette with the revolver. Even more so if he succeeds in shooting someone else after it goes "click" with us.
