Honestly, it never occurred to me that the Keckleon Brothers may have been selling the equivalent of Black Market items to…

…how old are PMD protagonists? Cause age and evolution are entirely separate AFAIK.

Seems like a topic that's popped up on reddit a few times, but screw that, here are my own observations.

I've only played Rescue Team on the GBA and Explorers on the DS, so I've got no info to give on the others apart from the fact that I think there's a school in Super, and the partner says something about not allowing kids to join the guild? The few Super PMD fics I've read have that in there too.

As for Rescue Team? We are for sure adults, since we're home owners and buy land multiple times.

Ah. Not sure if I explained it well, but OOC the gamish elements of PMD are more confined to dungeons, while lesser effects still work out of them. Since Pokémon is still a game based series at heart, it doesn't show, but that's why I had to start adding lore and world building for stuff.

The Violent seed only maxes your atk stats in canon. No berserking added. I put in the effects because the seed's called a Violent one, and there has to be a reason for that, right?

In any case, your idea would work outside the dungeon, but not inside it.

... Huh. You just gave me an idea.

Yeah, but now it's an awful item because berserker rage means no control.
Oof. It's not like we're going to see use of the Violent Seed for a while

When we do use it, y'all see what I have in store. It's not as bad as you think.
hmm...

slipping it into someones food?
or into some form of blowdart?
... Less assassin stuff, and more plot actually.

How's a bigass seed meant to fit for a blowdart anyways?

I'll hold my judgement for it, but the trade-off of sanity for power is a situational one so I'll just say right now that it's going to be used when the protagonist's backs are against the wall, or a limit-breaking attack. At least for personal use.
