Okay, thanks! I'm going to lock everything EXCEPT age and skill. While 65 wins out, the vast majority of people voted for a much younger MC, so... I'm going to have to try and think about this, if I want to get an update up for today. Crap. If anyone wants to explain any specific reasons they have for wanting a younger/older MC, maybe I can find some kind of compromise.

As for skill, this won't come up for a little while, so final vote:

I like the idea of being "the youngest master thief ever!" and I think being young gives us more ability to mold and develop our character as the quest goes on. Where as an old thief has done this a million times, and is more set in their ways, as well as being, to me at least, less fun.

Would definitely prefer to go younger. 13 ideally but any age we get classified as a minor with is good. so long as we get juvie instead of real prison as what we are risking. also cause young thief is more appealing to play as then old thief trying to supplement his social security checks somehow cause damn did he get screwed by his retirement plan.
 
Thirteen is the age of self-entitlement and temper tantrums, and that's not fun for anybody.

Well I personally find the image of a 65 year old thief much more hilarious than a teenager thief. If we go with old we could have a grandchild we could be training I suppose? Something like Gangsta Granny or something.

I've read a lot of stories with young protagonists. People who are youthful with lots of potential. I want to do an old one for a change, someone who has seen life's hardships and rather than face a quite retirement, decides to have a bit more fun at the end of their life.

among other things I like having options, a young thief just starting out may eventualy grow into a legendary old thief, a old thief just starting out is facing a countdown to make anything of himself before he gets to old or simple kell over
