These are the choices that IMO have the lowest chance of going horribly wrong. Which means I'm likely missing something, but oh well. Plus it's all characters we know, which is nice.

I just want to know who decided that "during the summit with a bunch of other, very tense, people with ships and guns" was the best time to let Mari back in her mech, and why they still have a job. If you're going to do it, do it in deep space, where your guys are the only safety and food.

All of my yes. I have to say that the setup for this sequence, however it goes, is doing a masterful job of building tension. I'm very excited to meet these two new factions, and I'm very very excited to see how the situation with Mari develops.

I'd guess the problem here is the SRI and their track record with the Js.
Probably nothing to worry about, Agnieszka seemed very even tempered.

Oh boy oh boy, I'm sure threatening the child soldier with death is a good way to ensure nothing bad happens while she's in the cockpit of a super mecha! Sure gotta praise top brass for thinking of this ingenius method of learning how the Carbon Steel works instead of just taking it apart! :V

it only just occurred to me the potential for disaster the Amani + Agniezka option may bring

Having Agniezka be together with her brother's totally-suspicious girlfriend and a cold-looking woman who comes from the organization that use to experiment on her and her siblings XD

I'm going to go against the tend of the vote and try and avoid bad things happening best we can. Kana doesn't piss anyone off, we don't mix the people that hate the SRI the most and then SRI. The SSLF may get pissy, but they aren't crazies about stuff like destroying habitats, and we haven't been working with the imperial guard the way we've been buddy-buddy with the SRI. Considering that we owe a favor to Milo, I don't want to give the SRI problems that we may be required to then fix. These two groups being pissy at each other is not our fault, or our problem directly. Let the diplomats deal with that.

Also I like the thought of the Galilean source being just out of reach of Kana for all her snooping around, and being sprung on her in a more chaotic situation then 'you meet them and get to know each other for a few hallways' sort of thing.

Family drama is best worst drama. I acknowledge that fucking up the goldmine of information that is this relationship just for the Jay survivors drama is probably a bad thing. I think this is hilarious. I also worry that the bodyguard can/would murder Amani, given the opportunity.
