As we were continuing our work on our room, someone knocked on the door.
"Luvia, you're closest to the door. Can you open it for me?"
"Alright", she said while standing up and getting a few spells already armed on her fingers.
Once she opened the door Zelretch was standing in front of us. "Ah, excellent. Both Rin and Luvia are here, we can get this started right away. But who would you be young man?"
Both Rin and Luvia blinked at that. "I think you took a wrong turn at Albuquerque", I said to Zelretch's counterpart. "The local one is on an errand to fetch some rare components."
He raised an eyebrow. "By himself?"
"Something about making sure he wasn't cheated. Still, he didn't said you would drop in for a visit."
"It's a bit of an emergency. Since those two are older than my own apprentices, how far have they along in their training?"
I looked at the two before shrugging. "You'd have to ask them."
"I'm sure they made great strides by now", he said before staring at me, "what about you?"
"Alternate counterpart gave me a Kaleidoscope affinity, and when this Zelretch came for a visit he gave me a helping hand so I'm repaying the favor."
He blinked owlishly, before shaking his head. "That's not something you see every day, even in the context of the Kaleidoscope. You're stupidly lucky boy."
Once more I shrugged. "So, what do you came here for?"
[ ]I'm dropping a girl for medical care. She did me a great favor, even if unknowing.
[ ]I need someone to help my own apprentices with cleaning up the mess of a Holy Grail War.
[ ]I wanted someone to scout ahead an alternate world I recently found.
