Yessss, the world slowly begins to revolve around us... For real, though, that proof of concept exoskeleton is going to be amazingly useful if we end up going into military tech. Hell, it'd be useful for construction, too, and it wouldn't need to be anywhere near as good. Well, it'd still need to be good, just not as rugged. Actually, question, can we kind of bootleg a robot (of the non-intelligent variety, like a LOKI mech or something) using the programming and design philosophies from power armor? Obviously it wouldn't be as good as a robot specialty robot, but it still should be better than conventional. We're probably going to need to deal with the fanclub at some point, though, given how rowdy it looks like they're getting in the rumor mill.

You can derive technologies based on your affinity, but your bonus will lower depending on how distant from the initial ideal it is.

So taking a exoskeleton and turning it into a robot will be quite hard, so only 1/4 bonus, but taking a full Power Armor and making it into a robot will be much easier, so 3/4 bonus.

EDIT: Of course, if the affinity posses that topic, you can make it with the full bonus. So once you get to Advanced - Weaponry, you can start making things like railguns, plasma guns, particle weapons and such.
