[X] Go in under cover. You were a shadow, and within a fort filled with hundreds of nooks and crevices, it was a practical playground for someone like you. Things might go south if you're caught, but you would be needed just in case diplomacy doesn't work out either. Plus, the Shepherd might be better if you weren't there when they finally arrive at the fort.

Well I wanted Shield Of Protection Powers. But I guess the allure of Power itself to Lord over the masses is to strong huh.

Honestly, per FE rules it made sense. We are an swordsman with good speed and and skill. We just needed some omph to deal with harder shit.

I know I'm going to regret this, but... *sigh*. On to the bandwagon I go.

Both doing something useful and a chance to show that we can control any impulse for the old ultraviolence if need be. Hopefully it won't need be, but still. And give everyone some time to calm down without worrying about us having another 'episode' nearby.

Also wondering if the other choices would have had similar-scale downsides to power's destructive god complex.

The other option is mostly doing nothing but sit down and twiddle our fingers right?

Not standing with everyone together?

Normally it would be standing with everyone, but because some idiot spilled the beans to everyone and their mothers, everyone else in the caravan (except Chrom, most likely) really doesn't want to be anywhere near us at the moment. If we stayed, we would be standing amongst them, not with them.

Aside from the major power boost we got, the best thing about this is we can bond with Robin even better now. If/when she gets corrupted by Grima's power we can reach out to her easily since we've already experienced a corrupting power high. Also the tragedy loving part of me wants that whole "if we're truly damned, if the whole world wants us dead, if we're going to hell, let's go together" vibe I get form Corvo x Robin.
