After a brief moment, your eyes lock onto the prowling wolf-faunus grinning hungrily at the parting and terrified bodies around her, looking like a wolf in a sheep pen. Your fingers itch towards Carnwennan, and you realize a bit late that you're slipping into the same smile as hers.
You shake your head, smoothing your expression down. You look around a bit. The Schnee is too far away, and the few others remaining in the airship seem to busy themselves on their own thing to notice your expression. Brushing the metaphorical dust away from your blue suit, you return to look at the wolf-faunus. She's getting farther away from you, into Beacon's gate.
Well, you grin crookedly as you step out of the airship, and straight towards the faunus. Better catch up.
You raise a hand lazily, "Hey—"
She whirls around, and a fist closes in on you. No words, no warning.
You duck instantly, feeling her fist whooshing straight above you. Idly, you ponder what would've happened if that hit you. Nothing good, you would assume. Carnwennan finds itself on your hand, its blade flicking out midway as you drive it upwards toward her wrist.
She pulls her fist immediately, taking a step back. The grin on her face stretches even more, revealing rows of sharp pearly white teeth. "You look strong," she remarks, taking a stance as you stand up. "Fight me."
Excitement sings in your veins, forming the first of an orchestra in your ears. Carnwennan feels comfortable in your right hand as you prop it slightly over your chest. Belatedly, you also realize that you're matching her grin, albeit a bit subdued. "I accept."
She nods her head in the slightest bit of movement, and then she was right in front of you. Her fist—no. Her claws cocked back, ready to eviscerate you if not for your Aura.
For the briefest moment, you consider activating Death Perception, but you dismiss that thought immediately as you meet her claws with Carnwennan. Death Perception was only used when you want to kill someone, or at least, damage someone to the point it's better to leave them dead. And you're sure killing someone on the school ground wouldn't do you any good. Besides, this is a spar, not some fight to the death.
She's strong, you conclude immediately as you grunt at the force behind her strike, nearly pushing you away. Carnwennan holds still against her, and you could see the briefest look of surprise in her eyes before the excitement returns tenfold.
"You're strong."
You nod briefly. "So are you."
Without preamble, your other fist lashes out towards her gut. She grunts, but whether it affects her more, she doesn't show it. Instead, her other hand latches onto your buried fist, tightening it harshly. Not quite crushing, but close.
You move into a blurring motion, Carnwennan disengaging from her claws as you swing both your legs down into her guts. She goes flying as the grip on your wrist is released. Not to waste such an opportunity, you rush towards her flying body, catch her leg and swing it down to the ground.
Carnwennan twirls in your hand, blade aiming towards her downed body, and you slam it into her stomach. She growls in pain, Aura preventing it from piercing her stomach. You feel a pair of something around your waist, but before you could identify it, you find yourself sailing through the air.
You twist yourself immediately, looking as your opponent jumps up to her feet, she looks into your eyes with mirth, and then rushes into you. A fist comes down above you as she jumps, for some reason it's furrier and redder than normal, and your bring your arms into a block. Carnwennan protects you from the worst as you find your back slammed into concrete. Probably taking some Aura out of you as air escapes your lungs, and pain spreads across your hands.
The wolf faunus is still in the air, and your eyes dart immediately towards her right arm. Covered in red fur, grotesquely larger when compared to her other arm, paws larger than your head, and claws that could bisect fleshy beings like heated knife through butter. Not a human arm, anymore. But a wolf's one.
Her Semblance, if you have to guess.
You roll away just in time, feeling the ground shakes as the spot you were in was thoroughly gouged, sending dusts into the air. The faunus turns to you, grinning at you challengingly.
"Come on, that your best?!"
You grin back, crouching to your feet. Pumping energy into them, you shoot forward, Carnwennan aiming towards her chest. Her wolf arm goes across her chest to block your attack, but on the last second, you drop under her grotesque arm, and a flurry of slashes strikes her lower torso. You can see some of your hits go through her Aura as you note a bit of blood on her thigh.
She grunts, snarls, and laughs as she brings her claws down. You sweep to her side, taking a stab to her kidneys. Aura blocks the worst of it, but she must've felt that as she swings herself to you. You nimbly step aside, leaving her back open to you.
Not to let opportunity wasted, you step inside, bringing Carnwennan down into her spine—
Clang.
You stare, perhaps a bit befuddled as her back deflects your stab. Then understanding dawns on you as red fur forms on her back. You look up to the wolf-faunus' grin, and pain blooms over you face as she decks you hard. Hard enough to send you flying and skipping through the ground, adding more pain to the injury.
Bringing your hands out, you immediately find purchase on the ground, and do a flip in the air, before dropping yourself down on your feet. The wolf-faunus is already closing in on you, her ridiculously large wolf-arm aiming to bisect you. You whip Carnwennan up, and the blade part separates to reveal a black cylinder.
The faunus' eyes widen for a moment, but seems to take it as a challenge than anything else as she speeds up her charge. Red Dust shoots out from Carnwennan with a loud explosion, like a speeding star. The wolf-faunus brings her wolf-arm up—
Something slams the speeding dust away, sending it exploding to the side. On the faunus' side, someone—Pyrrha Nikos, your mind quickly provides—blocks her way with a shield. Someone enters your vision, and you glare acidically at the tall dark-haired noble, his coattails fluttering on the wind.
"Tell me why I shouldn't kill you right now," you snap, brandishing your knife at him. Death Perception activates, showing you his Lines of Death. His coat doesn't have a lot, but his body is as normal as others. A few cuts here and there should break his Aura, another should end his life via decapitation.
You hear a loud roar coming from the Faunus' side, and glancing over his shoulder, you note that she is now supporting the head of a large red wolf and is now sending spittles all over the mascot of that box of cereal you can't quite remember the name of.
The naturally pale skinned boy stares at you blankly. If he's bothered by your threat, he doesn't show it. "You were about to kill each other," he points out.
You roll your eyes. "Bitch please, if I wanted to kill her, she wouldn't be alive by now. You," you narrow your eyes. "On the other hand…"
The young noble sighs a bit. "Orientation is about to start." he provides, pulling out a pocket-watch and shows you the time.
You blink, deactivate Death Perception—feeling that familiar start of a migraine—and flick Carnwennan back into your belt. "So it is."
Belatedly, you realize that the roar has quieted. Looking over the noble's shoulder, you see the Faunus still glaring at the Nikos girl, but not trying to pummel her down. Her eyes flicker to meet yours, and she smiles toothily. You match it with your own smile.
Also, though a bit late, you realize there's a crowd forming around you. They give you looks ranging from awe to fear. You glare at them, and watch as most of them flinch in response and try to disperse. Turning back to the noble-boy, you shrug your shoulders.
"Fine." You grumble out, pushing the urge to simply deck the guy's face.
He nods, looking the slightest bit satisfied. "Good." He remarks as he turns around, sending his coattails fluttering once more on the wind. "Do not be late." He says, before walking away into Beacon.
Mascot-girl seems to have finished with the faunus as well as she turns to join the dispersing crowd. The Schnee heiress seems to be with the crowd as well, eyes alternating between you and the faunus with a light of interest. Huh.
Rolling your shoulders, you rub your decked cheek, feeling your Aura working to heal the bruise, you walk towards the Faunus.
"Hey," you greet, offering your hand out. This time, she doesn't cut you off with a punch. "Nice to meet you. Name's Ciana Skye. Call me Cyan."
She takes your hand, and shakes it vigorously. You note the callouses on her hand, and the effort to crush your own. You reciprocate. An edge forms over her smile, "The name's Elizabeth Scarlett. Just call me Eli, unless you're into that stuffy stuff,"
You tilt your head easily. "I'm not, thankfully." Her grip tightens, but so is yours. "We should—"
"Must."
You nod agreeingly, grin stretching to reveal your own teeth. "We must finish that fight, sometime. But until now, a draw?"
Eli sighs, but nods her head, albeit reluctantly. "A draw. It's a shame that bitch and pale-ass interrupted us. I would've won that,"
"Oh, really?" You drawl out.
Her eyes spark challengingly as she leans in. Her grip tightens once more, and you reciprocate with a stronger one. At this rate, you're going to lose the battle. "Really. Wanna bet?"
You look over her shoulder, notes that most of the people are getting into the building. "Mayhaps later? I really don't want to be late."
Eli looks over her shoulder, and sighs as she slackens and pulls her hand. "True. Come on,"
You nimbly take her side, and enter Beacon proper.

The crowd was already assembled as the both of you step into the room. Ozpin, the Headmaster of Beacon and presumably the strongest in here, stands over the stage. His aide and assistant, Glynda, stands by his side—staring the soon-to-be students ever so vigilantly.
Surveying over the crowd, you note several familiar faces. The blonde and the brunette, probably siblings. The Schnee heiress. The Nikos, and Penny Polendina.
Taking the lead, you take the spot beside the odd girl. Like before, her head snaps at you before you could even get near.
"Ah, Cyan," she smiles at you. "It's sensational to see you. I have reserved this spot just for you!" She glances to the faunus behind you. "And I see that you've brought a friend as well."
You nod, gesturing to Eli. "Penny, meet Elizabeth Scarlett. Eli, meet Penny Polendina,"
Penny nods in that awkward halting way as she offers her hand. By the look on Eli's face, you're not the only one who notices it. "Salutations. It is nice to meet you, Elizabeth Scarlett! I hope we could be… friends?" she says that almost tentatively.
Eli eyes the hand the critically, before shaking it. "I would like to fight you before I could call you a friend." She says seriously.
Penny blinks, looking confused, before turning to you.
You sigh exasperatedly, feeling that this would be a repeat occurrence. "Some people have their own prerequisites before you can be their friend," you provide easily enough.
Her eyes light up as she turns to Eli. You note that Eli is crushing her hand, to no effect. Dust, how strong is this girl? "I see." She nods excitedly. "We could make time to do so, Elizabeth."
Eli nods gamely, grinning. "I'll wait warmly." She says, pulling her hand from the handshake. "But until then, we're not friends." she then proceeds to casually walk to your side.
Penny nods seriously.
And then Ozpin starts his speech.
You tune out most of it, only listening in on the important parts. There's some urge in you to activate Death Perception just to see if it'll see him the same way as you see others. You doubt it will, but you push that curiosity down. You're not that suicidal.
His assistant takes over once the Headmaster finishes his speech and steps off the stage. She clears her throat, gazing over the soon-to-be hunters-in-training, and then speaks, "You will gather in the ballroom, tonight. Tomorrow your initiation begins,"
Knowing you're being dismissed when you see it, you and the plenty others in the room turn to pour out the room and into the Ballroom you were supposed to sleep for the night. There's something strange about having to sleep with the opposite gender, but you're kinda used to it after the several stints you had with Neo.
Dropping your luggage next to your spot, you stretch a bit. You feel slightly tired from your spar with Eli, but your Aura is recovering properly. Nothing a short sleep can't fix.
Eli waved at you a short goodbye before she took off further into the room. And Penny is currently looking around in wonder after exclaiming that she's in search for friends. You spot the Schnee heiress not far from you, carefully sorting out her luggage. The siblings chatting with each other, the annoying noble-boy looking over his coat, and then there's the bubbly girl with the straight-faced boy just a few beds away from you. Even from here, you could hear the girl babbling away around the boy as he prepares his bed.
You silently admire his patience. You think you would kill the girl not even a minute after she opens her trap.
Off to the side, you could see a black-haired girl sitting beside the candle as she reads a book.
Hmm, what to do?
[] Go to the Schnee heiress. She was looking at you with interest, before. Perhaps you could use that?
[] Uhm… Help Penny make friends?
[] To the annoying pale-ass boy. Sure, he interrupted your fight, and sure, he was annoying as fuck. But he seemed reasonable back then.
[] The Siblings. Why the hell not?
[] To Eli. Hash out when you could continue your fight.
[] Help the straight-faced boy. He looks like he seriously needs it.
[] The mysterious book-girl? No reason, really.
[] Just sleep (Skips to the Initiation)
