Yes, but I also intend her to be a wrecking ball of pain.
Unless size doesn't correlate to the ability to crush skulls.
I don't mind pint-sized powerhouses. I'm taking on an anime-ish tone, after all. ^_^;

You could say you'd want Neianne to be a bit of a twig.I'd almost want slightly tall, so that we can be a beanpole (relatively speaking). A tall tree.![]()
So, short or super-short?
Well, don't forget to edit your vote then.
Apples and oranges? A knight is a social rank and a martial ideal, while a lancer is a type of combatant specializing in a certain type of weapon. ^_^;
If you meant to compare a fencer with a lancer: Lancers use polearms, which can range from lances to spears, some of the most versatile weapons on the continent, useful in duels but especially formation-fighting. Relative to spears, swords have shorter reach and power, but are typically faster, easier to handle, and particularly useful in urban close-quarters situations. ^_^;
Oh, I just meant, uh, this.
"In combat, dryads rely on strength and magecraft, and are thus often found as knights, lancers, and mages."
Mmm, yeah, I can see that.[x] Slightly tall.
[x] Short and simple, shoulder-length.
[X] Red
[x] Youthful: Colorful frocks and frilly boleros giving off a more girlish impression.
Okay, group choice...
[x] ...the second group of three, with the two humans and aseri.
The reasoning is that the large group might be a biiit too loud for our shy elf, the two-person groups didn't strike me as overly interested in a third and that the elves are probably not overly interested in company if they're sitting alone and I don't think Neianne would be terribly good at striking a conversation with them. Meanwhile, the second group is all freeholders, so they're in the same social strata as us and they waved us over when we entered, so we have an invitation and withmoeshy being our personality choice, I think it'll be difficult to get into the other groups without that.
[x] Wholesome: Modest blouses, long skirts, and dresses iconic of the freeholder class in Caldrein.

Having read/watched Dagashi Kashi, I can assure you that wholesome styles have their own unique charm.This is not a critical statement insomuch as it's an amused observation - I don't mind either way - but man, you guys have such a demure sense of fashion. XD
Mmhm.
brb editing vote
Uh. Given the mentions of knights and lancers and archers and the social strata we could choose from and the castles, it's p obvious it's a medieval-renaissance fantasy setting...?Mmhm.
Mmmhm.
Hrmmmm.
Hey, just to make sure, what kinda time period (Relative to our timeline, I guess) is this civilisation working with? Because when I said I wanted something more practical, I was thinking of something like, y'know, good, tough, jeans, a t-shirt and jacket, stuff like that, would that be possible?
