Personally i'm more interested in the immediate benefit of getting to know the pretty healer. :V
Which is why i voted to help the Shallyans instead of visiting church.
Also to donate all our money and earn it back.

It just felt the most Erika option.
it's a good enough reason as any. And it's not like we need a lot of gold to make it back.

[X] Twenty Crowns. A very generous donation, one that leaves Erika with just enough to cover her own needs. Will likely be used to expand the Shallyan's capabilities in some long term fashion.
[X] Consulting. Dieterschafen is a major town, and there will always be merchants in such places willing to pay a Magister for her time. Earn some coin and make some connections in the process.
[X] Visit the Temple of Ulric. Attending religious services at the temple on a regular basis provides no direct mechanical or financial gain; it is an act of faith, and while it may draw notice or approval from others, Erika will not seek such things out.

As though that will happen. Seriously, Shallyan temples are noted to be quite practiced at warding off any such attempts on their priestesses.

Are you saying we shouldn't make the attempt then?

[X] Assist the Shallyans. Though Erika is not a doctor or a devotee of the faith, the Sisters of Shallya will not turn down honest offers of help. They can doubtless find some use to put her to

At first I was considering spell learning, but figured practicing with a broken jaw maybe wasn't the best idea we'd ever had, so...

[X] Ten Crowns. A more substantial donation, but one that leaves her with plenty. Will likely be used to fund a specific outreach program or event, such as a major public banquet for the needy.

[X] - Purgation

Let's use the time productively so we don't get shanked by demons again. I don't think 'helping' the pretty priestesses is the best use of our time.

We'll likely have a harder time earning coin once we leave town.

I would just like to say that such brutal injuries and an extended recovery arc would normally drive me up the wall. But this quest had such compelling characters and setting that I'm actually set to enjoying a mild downtime arc.

Guys, wasn't there a spell we voted to learn last time we got to do Spell Research and didn't get to learn because of flubbed rolls? It was a boss-killer which might have been handy against those demons (it makes multiple bolts but does high damage if you aim them all at the same target instead of spreading them out). Let's use this time to fix that.
