I don't get why so many favor picture 1. I slightly favor 2 over 3, but I'll vote for one with a more decent chance of beating 1, which frankly, seems incredibly generic and empty of distinction to me.

Right? I was so incredibly ecstatic to discover that [those two pictures] basically fit the description of the character perfectly, and have a sense of distinct personality. The anime picture just seems so bland and generic in comparison.
