Heh, I mean Barb since the two would have served in the same navy for about 15 years. (But on the subject of name confusion I still kind of want Barb to meet the other, original Tazzoli so they can debate which one is the best :p)
 
Give me a sec to look up tonnage need to know it I'm knock down are not bc I'm expecting something of bb displacement so I would be braced.

Ah bugger, we're actually doing this. Combat is all narrative, which means that in the case of you lot fighting NPCs, you get to make your attacks and I'll dictate the results. In the case of PvP like you crazies are doing right now, I expect y'all to hash out how the fight is going to go ahead of time so that everyone is satisfied, then RP it out.
Of course, y'all are shipgirls, so unless you're fighting Abyssals/other shipgirls/serious artillery, expect to completely curbstomp everything you face.
 
Question: can shipgirls identify each other on sight, and if so how accurate is it? Can they tell type, general displacement, class, nation of origin?

You can generally tell what class another shipgirl is. The way I've always written it is that shipgirls can see a vague outline of hull shape of the other shipgirls. So if two classes had similar shape they'd be difficult to tell apart, but you can easily tell that they're shipgirls.
 
Now that I think about it, either I have a very undefined definition of the words 'reserved' and 'shy', or I need to change up the personality section of my character sheet a bit
