First Blood
-X-
You turned the knife over in your hand again. It was a really nice knife. Daddy only ever let you have pretend knifes, and they were a lot lighter than this one. You try and imagine what this knife is like for Daddy, he's a lot bigger than you, so this knife probably feels like a dinner knife to him!
But to you, it feels like you're Uncle, wielding his sword.
It's a lovely feeling.

[Guess what everyone? We're at the end of Character Generation, and you know what that means! Stats!]
Imagining how awesome it was, watching Uncle power through the door and imagining him doing the same to a bunch of people, you smile a broad smile and walk up to Daddy, carefully holding the Knife behind you.
"Aria! Aria Hastur Crowley! You will answer your father right now! What are you doing in MY WORKPLACE?!"
Daddy was really red-faced now. He probably didn't like his little girl defying him. Tough noodles, isn't it?
"But Daddy, can't we just talk?" You say, smiling and turning your head to the side. From there you can see Uncle make a face of disapproval, but he didn't do anything yet. For the best, really.
"What- Aria! You are in so much trouble young lady!" Daddy says, practically foaming at the mouth.
You pout. Why did it have to come to this? It was obvious that Daddy was going to kill you once you got inside, that he didn't want to talk. Or...maybe Uncle is jumping to conclusions? You know Daddy said some other words, words that didn't make sense if he wanted to kill you...
But on the other hand, pretty knives.
You smile, "Daddy, you're the one in trouble. Uncle says hello~"
Daddy's face lights up in fear. Haha, that's such a funny look on Daddy's fat face! He turns around to see Uncle with the weapon at his head, and a twisted smile on his face. Uncle seems to like where this is going,
"Hiya Aleister! Nice to see you try to kill me behind my back! Too bad little Arhi-chan knows better, eh? She's got something for you though, since you were such a loving father!"
Daddy just dumbly looks back at you, and sees you just in time to watch you wind up a slash! Before he can gaggle out any protests, you swipe your hand right across his belly! Almost immediately, his shirt stained red and seemed to bulge a little.
As he fell to the ground, Uncle put his gun away, got out his sword again, and took Daddy's head clean off.
That was weird of him.
"Uncle, why go through getting out the sword?" You ask quizzically, as the blood starts pooling on the ground.
Uncle just smiles and shrugs. "It didn't seem fair for you to use a blade and I use a gun. C'mon Aria, let's go back to my house."
Yayy! You get to go to Uncle's house! You turn away first, and idly notice that Uncle seems to bend down to collect something. Frankly, you're more interested in what you see in Daddy's workshop mirror.
That smile that looked weird and twisted on Uncle's face, but familiar? You remember why.
You're wearing that same smile now.

You decide taking Daddy's knife along is for the best, but chose to leave everything in your room how it was. You're not sure why, but you have the feeling what happened to Daddy is going to hit you sooner or later, and being around your childhood things would only make it worse.
You don't really know how you knew that.
Walking along with Uncle in silence, you look around the landscape. It's the same gated Community you always remembered, but weirdly there's a lot more broken windows than you remember. Some gunshots could even be heard in the Houses! You wondered if any Zombies got at your neighbors. For that matter, you wonder what happened to Daddy's friends, didn't they all live here?
Oh well. They never talked about anything around you anyway, so you don't care.
---
You made it! You're at Uncle's house! And oh boy, house is a generous word for it too! It was almost like one of those old-time Cathedrals that Daddy sometimes showed you pictures of. Actually...it looked a lot like one of those Cathedrals, except the brick was a kind of black-red color.
Still super cool.
---
It's been a few days since you moved in. Daddy's death hit you that first night, but Uncle was there to help you through it. You don't know if you're really over it, like anything could trip you over the line sometimes...

Other things have happened too, like this morning when Uncle called you into his...Chair room, I guess?
It was early, and you were just barely coherent. Uncle collected your sleepy self, and carried you off, saying that you and him were going to have a talk. You mumbled something and he laughed, still carrying you.
Eventually, you came to a really big room. Uncle said this was where people used to have Church and sit and listen to 'sermons'. This was also where Uncle kept his big chair. It was massive, actually requiring some climbing to get into. The chair was weird, make out of some bleached-white...stuff. They were chalky and jagged and misshapen, like they didn't all come from one place.
Eventually, he got into his seat and sat you on his lap.
"Ahri-chan," He began, no longer using the voice you were accustomed to hearing, "We've got to figure out what to do with you. I'm a dangerous man Ahri, and sometimes it's not gonna be safe to be here, or around me at all. Plus, you have to grow up eventually. What do you want to be when you grow up, Arhi-chan?"
You were still sleepy, but you remember being perfectly clear when giving your answer.
[] Write In
Uncle smiled, "Well, to do that, we're going to need to get you to be the best little girl an Uncle could ask for. Think about what you what you want to start learning soon, okay?"
You mumble something, eager to get back to sleep, Eventually, you remember being back in your bed once more.
You thought about it, now that you were rested. What did you want to learn?
[] How to fight. You want to be able to protect yourself, in case anything bad might happen and Uncle isn't around.
[] How to really talk. You wanted to be able to talk like Uncle, to be smart and know a lot of people.
[] Normal stuff. All this...fighting stuff is something you don't want to think about. You want to learn about mundane things.
You suppose you should go and tell Uncle, as soon as you decide.

Congrats everyone, after this vote Aria will be set to live out life as a Necromancer! Now let me explain the Stats you've acquired thus far:
Good/Evil: This one should be fairly simple, capping at 100/-100 respectively. Good points for good things, Evil points for bad things. There are two notable differences, Grey Points and Moral Resistance. Grey points are awarded for doing morally grey actions, and actually lower your Good/Evil score to zero. If you're already at zero and acquire more Grey points, you build up a bank of them that gets decreased when you do a good or evil action.
Moral Resistance is something else entirely. For each point of Good/Evil you get, the following point is harder to obtain. That means going from -90 Evil to -100 Evil is a lot harder than going from 0 to -10. Also, this goes the opposite way, attempting to 'redeem' yourself is harder at -40 than it is at -10.
Madness works a little differently. It too is a scale from 100/-100, but adds a corrupting element. So spending time amongst people at Madness 100 or any other high number will be bad for you, considering positive numbers are more Mad. Needless to say, People at -100 Madness will be a calming influence.
Mental Resistance is almost the opposite of Moral Resistance, it's far easier to slink into 100 Madness. However, it is still harder to be 'cured' of Madness or fall into it yourself.
Other than that, have fun!
One more thing:
[] Vote for Aria's Official Picture Here. I'll change it at my own discretion, but you all can set the base look.
