It's the same reason I asked about height and haven't just dropped the tags down; I only have a range of five meters.

Okay, thing was, I didn't realize just how short 10 feet was when I made that restriction. I suck at visualizing what numbers actually mean. Can I increase my range or am I stuck with my mistake?

That's fair, I don't work with imperial with means i have to mentally convert whenever I come across something like that (although I've found that 10 feet is "smallish car length" for a good visualisation). However, upping it midst time is, ah, leery. I can promise I'll look favourably about future power development, if you'd be satisfied with that, or you can consider if you want to knock down the volume you control.

Regardless, I hope you'll understand why, from the perspective of an interesting story, I'll not singing off on a range sufficient to do the picking manueaver at the moment. If you'd like to make a further case, we can hash stuff out in the PM we have, and I'm a sucker for interesting use cases for given parameters :V
 
@Artificial Girl, could you make a post soon, please? I'd rather not like to go two updates without a person doing anything. Likewise, @RexHeller , if you could edit the IC post you made under the agreement we had, I'd love it.
 
Yes, sorry! Mom was sick yesterday and I got called in to cover a coworker's shift today. I'll try and get it done tomorrow.
 
Finally fucking edited my earlier post! Now I need to come up with a new one for this round of actions...
 
@TurtleDucks, are you flying us towards the top of the dome, or just (relatively) straight up? I ask because the latter probably wouldn't put me quite in range.
 
Me, I think, but it's the middle of my finals weeks so.... hopefully I'll get something out before my next exam but I'm not promising anything :)

As of the end of this week exams are finished. I'm currently on a date so I'll start writing and hopefully post tomorrow.
 
This is taking forever, and I feel like you deserve an explination. At present, given what people are trying to do - and indeed, I've set it up in a way where they very easily can do it - the next option most of the player characters are going to be faced with is "describe how you don't break your neck" or else something that renders the actual mission objective almost impossible to achive.
