Monster Musume Host Quest: Your Life with Monstergirls

I dunno about you guys, but I'm all for going lethal on these orcs. It might be the cause for a diplomatic incident, but remember, this is the second time this exact bunch of fuckwits have held innocent people at gunpoint for the sake of fucking porn. If anyone's to blame, it should be those that we're meant to imprison/exile/rehabilitate them. Lenience for the sake of diplomacy can only go so far.

[X] "I love this plan! I'm excited to be a part of it!" Go with Morvand's strategy.

It's a solid plan. We're not dealing with fanatical extremists, nor professional mercs. Trying to modify the plan, or presenting a complicated one, does not seem to be wise or necessary.
Yeah fuck those guys.

The young-looking man shrugs, and you had to admit you liked the way he thought. Their stupid PR games and powerplays caused you nothing but headaches, so telling them to fuck off would feel awesome.
Am I being paranoid, or is Lawful Evil guy already starting to manipulate us?

Seems like a solid plan to me. Only thing I'm worried about is that Gold probably won't be too happy about being stuck on overwatch.

Honestly. whatever country these orcs come from will probably write them off after we've killed. If they want to raise diplomatic hell, they'd be pissing off both Japan and America over a few orcs that held people hostage twice in two different countries.

I mean, I find orcs as hot as any sensible person does (very, amirite?), but fuck these fellows. And not literally.

Well, he is the one with (more) experience. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Oh, he's been manipulating you from the moment you listened to his recording. Thus far it looks like he's two for two: he already got you to pick him for your team and his 'shoot to kill' choice is winning by a landslide.

Could we swap that to shoot to wound? Like aiming for less lethal areas, like limbs and stomach?

Damn it Kaelor, I can't deal with the stress of surprise spec-ops. This is a houseguest simulator for the love of god.
Try not to stress out too much. As mentioned before, unless you actively try you aren't really going to be able to fail at any of your MON missions. Your current choices are more about how you win and less about if you will. Clever planning will provide some extra rewards but isn't necessary by any stretch of the imagination.

Won't work. Shooting to wound is difficult and still makes the target die. There aren't really any safe areas of the body to shoot, to many blood vessels.
Shot to the guts is totally survivable if you get medical attention in half an hour. We could requisition some medical teams.
As it happens, you're both right. Gunshots are surprisingly survivable these days provided you don't get hit in the wrong place, and orcs are tougher than most.

That said, @Mook is correct that most professionals consider the idea of 'shooting to wound' to really be a Hollywood myth. A severed leg artery will cause death by bloodloss in seconds, and a leg hit still doesn't stop the target from shooting you if he really wants. Arms and guns are very difficult targets to hit due to their size and mobility, and misses have potential to turn to lethal hits either on the target or on civilians nearby. Aiming for 'nonlethal' torso hits is extremely tricky, as the line between lethal and nonlethal tends to be extremely fuzzy. Even if you miss the organs themselves, if a major artery or vein is severed the victim will be dead long before doctors can get the bleeding under control. Because the hesitation required to even line up a 'wounding' shot will often give the target (who isn't nearly as handicapped as you) the chance to shoot first and kill you, the notion of 'shooting to wound' seems to have been universally rejected by modern police and military forces.

Of course MON isn't exactly normal, and the franchise as a whole tends to operate on Hollywood rules rather than real ones. Orcs are much tougher than humans, and pig biology is surprisingly similar to that of humans, so they won't need specialized medical care to get them stable. Because of the skill of your team and the toughness of your opponents shooting to wound is definitely a viable option, but doing so will place your team at increased risk.

On a sad but unrelated note, I regret to inform you all that due to the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday, the next official post will not be until next week. I will leave voting open until then.

I mean, it's technically not cannibalism? Probably not the kind of impression we want to give our guests though, even if none of them are harpies.
