Maybe this is a silly nitpick, but isn't this an anachronism? I thought the idiom "a bridge too far" originated from World War 2. Google Books seems to agree that it became popular after the 1970s book and movie.

Wait there is voting in this thread? Started reading this. It is good. Recommended it to some friends. I don't know how I feel about the memory removal thing. I get why it happened but it felt sort of unsatisfying?
Edit: Pretty much finished. Excellent story. Skipped most of the later smut scenes. Hmm. The communication card that Minerva got from the Grindemort expy? I don't think it got used for anything. Understandable if she just trashed the thing but it could have been a useful Chekhov's Gun during the climatic arc.
