Minerva Golding and the Wand of Silver (Harry Potter Deconstruction)

Ah, can I get a link to that? That crossover actually makes a lot of sense thematically thinking about it some. Both stories were written in a relatively close period of time and have a lot of the neuroses of late 19th century Britain with them, for better or ill.

Also the Martians are themselves basically blood drinking vampires.

That's precisely why I wrote it.

All right!

WHAT STORY SHOULD I POST TO SV WEEKLY NEXT?

We have Jasmine Starr, a flash gordon expy written as if it was penned in the 1950s, but with a 100% hard-science approach to everything.

We have To Spite another God, where the martian invasion of 1899 is thwarted by god's most humble creature, Lord Dracula

And we have In Another Universe All My Girlfriends are IP Violations, which is the stupidest story I've ever written

[ ] Jasmine Star against the Emperor of Space
[ ] To Spite Another God

[X] To Spite Another God

Dracula being humble? That'll be strange. :p
He might have had a past as a murderously psychotic warlord! He might be a demonic abomination against God who went to death metal Satan Hogwarts! He might literally eat babies! He might be an extremely unsettled metaphor for a sexual predator! He might have forcibly married his own daughters!

But never accuse Count Dracula of being unhumble!

Mmmm ... on the one hand, hard science is my jam, I love seeing & making wild shit happen with vaguely defensible physics. But on the other hand ... vampire(s?).

Yup. I know where I'm going.

[X] To Spite Another God

Merlin really got wrecked by a schoolgirl and decided to run away until everyone involved died of old age, huh.

tbf Mirvena has spent most of the story being wrecked by a schoolgirl.

[X] Jasmine Star against the Emperor of Space

It's a really hilarious gimmick, although bringing it to SV would probably need more redactions than a CIA document.

...Hm.
Hm.
Not sure which of the first two sounds more interesting, just from what information I have, but by the same standard both sound more interesting to me than the third, so:

[X] Jasmine Star against the Emperor of Space
[X] To Spite Another God

In Another Universe is a pseudo-victorian science-fantasy story, btw. Deals with being trans, among other things.

Yeah, "In This Isekai All My Girlfriends are IP Violations", the main character is jammed into an isekia created as a stopgap fix for the universe, but since the budget is running out because the multiverse is being sued by Time Warner for the number of Batmen that exist (infringing on their copyright), they need to cut the corners and so take a bunch of girls from fictional stories, change their names slightly, and jam them into the pocket world in the hopes that the guy they have stuck in there won't notice he's in a universe made of bailing wire and duct tape.

Sorry, I should have responded earlier. As much as the premise is silly, with the ending of the first chapter, I think it starts exploring much more interesting stuff, while stories like Jermey Bayer or the Maid Robots one keep much more to the elevator pitch.
