When Mother Base ends up in another world, it's up to the Boss to lead his men in this new world. Facing off in a conflict between the Federation and Imperial Alliance, it's up to him to get involved, to stay out of it, or to profit from it all. Good Luck Big Boss, you're going to need it.
Mother Base, a home for a soldier, a land that fought for its own world. Almost anyone with a library card knew about it, but there was so much about it that they didn't know. When news broke out about it being missing from any known map, everyone was left speculating about where it went. There was no rubble, no sign that their base was even there. No one was sure what happened to it, and nobody was in a hurry to find out about it.
But for the base itself, it had appeared on an ocean an entire world away from Earth.
Now, how did the world remember the Boss and Mother Base?
…
[] The Boss Reputation
-[] Soldier & Saint
Description: Boss was known for being a man of passion and care, even risking his life to save child soldiers being used against him and his men. His dream was for a world without soldiers, where the common man need not fear war breaking out in his world. Many said he treated his allies well, and treated his soldiers like they were his own flesh and blood. His charisma and leadership could inspire even the most terrified of civilians to pick up a rifle and fight for their home, a fact that many governments feared and respected him for.
-[] A Mercenary
Description: A man for the highest bidder, a self-made soldier at best, a warmongering mercenary at worst. The people of the world don't really care that much that he's gone, just another mercenary in a sea of warlords that started popping up in the '80s. Many of them said how he'd forge a world for the soldier, a place where they weren't used or abused by their generals. While he still shows some care for his men, he seems to care more about his bottom line even more.
-[] A Demon
Description: The Boss was a demon, plain and simple. Many soldiers feared him, others dreaded even hearing his name. Word was that even the most disciplined of soldiers would break their patrol routes to get away from the man. There are even stories of him sneaking into a base like a spirit, and only corpses are found the next day. Some say he razed every Soviet Base in Afghanistan on his own, others say he was just after the XOF and their leader. Whatever the story is, people are glad he's gone.

"Boss? Boss!"
"We've lost all contact with surrounding FOBs!"
"Damn it Boss! This should wake you up." Feeling a sharp smack across his face, Venom Snake found himself resting on the floor of Mother Base. Everyone was in a panic trying to figure out what the hell just happened to Motherbase, were they bombed? Was it some sort of extremely articulate lightshow? Either way, something was terribly wrong. Rising from the floor, the Boss realized quite a few things off about the area surrounding Mother Base.
[] It was…
-[] Temperate As Summer: It certainly didn't feel like the ocean back home, and there's a piece of land just barely at the edge of the horizon. Looks vaguely European, but that doesn't matter, what does matter is where the hell are we? This sure as hell isn't Seychelles, it feels too...What's the word? Nice, yeah, feels way too nice to be Seychelles. There are some reports spotting passing ships bearing a flag marked by blue and white with red stripes, no one is sure what country they're from. Starting Area - Gallian Coast (Level: Easy)
-[] Somewhat Storming: There's definitely a rainstorm going on, and it sure as hell isn't one that'd hit Seychelles. It feels like one that'd hit the British Coast, and it feels like something Quiet would love right about now...And there she is. Okay focusing on other problems, Miller says there's gunfire coming from nearby land. From what we can gather at this time, it looks like two platoons ran into each other and are now tearing each other apart. Maybe we can Fulton a few of them back to base, figure out where the hell we are and what happened to Motherbase. Starting Area - Federation Coast (Level: Medium)
-[] Ice As Far As The Eye Can See: It's just ice, ice as far as you can see. From what Miller just tested, it's not thin, not even shattered into floating crags, it's literally a sheet of solid ice about twenty to thirty feet deep with no sign of any weather beyond ball-busting cold and skin-splitting winds. You had Huey take a look at it, and he says that trying to break the ice is like trying to get Eli to have a polite conversation. On the bright side, several soldiers are having a snowball fight like normal people. If you have the time, you could hang up some christmas lights for fun. Starting Area - The Crystal Sea (Level: Hard)
…
Ocelot says he's sending out a small expedition to meet the locals, as everyone is trying to get the comms online. Local comms are working, you can still access your iDroid, and you can still contact Mother Base whenever you need. Since the Expedition needs you on board, maybe you should pick out a loadout and take one of your battle buddies with you?
[] Battle Buddy (Provides 1 Command Point):
-[] D-Horse
Pros: Useful for Traveling Large Distances, Causing Distractions, Escaping Enemies
Cons: Little Combat Utility
-[] D-Dog
Pros: A Puppy!!, Lower Enemy Guard, Can Subdue/Kill/Fulton Enemies
Cons: No Ranged Options, unless Huey can come up with a back mounted gun for him.
-[] Quiet
Pros: Can Scout Enemies From A Distance, Easily Trounces Enemies In Long Range, Nightmarish To Fight
Cons: Certain Weather Patterns Can Distract Her (Rain / Extreme Cold / ETC)
-[] D-Walker
Pros: Jack Of All Trades
Cons: Master Of None
Formerly a soldier of the Soviet Union, Nikolas Malkovich was one of Boss' earlier captures for the newly acquired Mother Base. Despite some minor setbacks in the early days (Lack of resources, time, and gear), Nikolas has made himself a valuable asset to the team for his ability to fix and repair vehicles. Hell, he's good enough to fix vehicles in the middle of combat.
3. Leon 'Crimson Hawk' de Tours
Class: Shock Trooper
Potential 1: UNKNOWN
Trait: CQC Training (Soldier has Advantage on CQC)
Leon de Tours is a former soldier of the French Private Force known as Coup de Grace, which was somewhat involved with the conflicts all over the world. He had lied about his age to get within the PF, only to be exposed to the horrors of war at only fifteen years old. Despite this, when Big Boss 'offered' (read: Fulton'd him) a new life, he took the chance with open arms. On another note, he seems to have a protective instinct towards younger folk.
4. Madison 'Silver Fox' Chambers
Class: Sniper
Potential 1: UNKNOWN
Trait: Mechanical Leg LVL 1 (Allows for Basic Movement, Disadvantage On Climbing)
Madison Chambers was originally a college student with a hobby for hunting, but after a series of events put her family into debt, she decided to volunteer for private military service in order to help her family. After a small mishap with a phosphorous grenade cost her leg, a few of Diamond Dogs' R&D Scientists helped her gain a new leg in the form of a robotic prosthetic - Much like the Boss' prosthetic arm. Beyond that, Madison is known for being an energetic little sister to half the team - And the best cook when it's her turn in the Mess Hall.
If there was one word to describe Rachael's physical appearance, it'd be strong. If there was a word to describe her personality...Crude. When she's not on the job or dealing with animals, you can bet your ass Rachael is making some sort of crass joke about something. Like about her eye, which she explains was lost in an accident involving duct tape, a grenade, and something else that changes after every third drink.
6. Arthur 'Blackbird' Graham
Class: Rifleman
Potential 1: UNKNOWN
Trait: Hawk Eye (Increased Accuracy vs. Personnel)
Not much is known about Arthur Graham, only that he volunteered after took down an armored unit in Afghanistan, and that he likes birdwatching. Sometimes he deploys on a mission just to find unique birds that aren't just trying to eat the fish around Mother Base. Like robins, or crows, or...You get the idea.
7. Layla 'Idiot Sloth' Edwards
Class: Scout
Potential 1: Diamond Dogs! Together! (Buffs the attack power of other Diamond Dogs nearby. Triggered by being near allies.)
Potential 2: Pick 'Em Off! (Buffs the accuracy of other allies nearby. Triggered by killing an enemy.)
Unique Gear: Modified Colt Model 653 (5.56x45mm - 30 Rounds), Knife (Spiked Handguard)
Born and raised in the UK, Layla was disowned by her parents for being almost eternally angry and also being a lesbian. She joined the British Army and performed somewhat well in training, excelling at FISHing and mid-range combat. She was dishonourably dismissed from the Army after picking a fight with her superior officer, which was the final straw after almost a dozen altercations with other privates. Desperate to not become homeless, Layla travelled to Afghanistan upon hearing of a saint known as Big Boss who was building a world where one wouldn't ever need to pick up a rifle, she wanted to make such a world, in the only way that she could.
1. Pequod
Class: Helicopter Pilot
Role: Close-Air-Support/Pickup
Potential 1: Here Comes The Cavalry! (Pilot has Advantage Against Ground Forces)
Potential 2: Team Buddy (Boosts Morale To All Allied Units)
Pequod, the Team Buddy, the man who generally likes just about everyone on Mother Base. Sometimes he can be found playing darts or running the Friday Night Manticores & Magic Session, or tending the 'speakeasy' behind the hangar. Everyone knows about it, but so long as everything is done in moderation it's allowed to stay operational.
2. Colin 'Destructive Osprey' Michelson
Class: Helicopter Pilot
Role: Close-Air-Support/Sabotage
Potential 1: An Ear For Danger (Can Detect Enemies Easily)
Potential 2: Crippled Leg (Decreased Movement)
Unique Gear: Pristine M1911 Operator (.45 ACP - 7 Rounds) History
3. Eric 'Sleeping Bear' Segura
Class: Tank Commander
Role: Tank Commander/Engineering
Potential 1: Good Buddy - Being around close friends makes even the battlefield a little cheerier, boosting their attack power.
Potential 2: Super Repair - Repairs performed on tanks have a chance of restoring a greatly increased amount of HP.
Unique Gear: Model 19 Revolver (.357 Magnum - Six Rounds)
Eric served in the US Army as a tanker traveling wherever Uncle Sam pointed until he was stationed in Vietnam. There he saw the death of his best buddies after they were cut off and abandoned to the Vietcong during the Tet offensive, so after his tour was done he left and traveled the world looking for a cause to follow. When he heard rumors of this supposed paradise for soldiers he was interested so he sought them out and found a place where he belonged and wouldn't be discarded as pawns in some game.

More of Mother Base will be unlocked as you complete missions, you're now free to vote!
You were preparing a simple mission roster, a Combat Engineer, an Assault Trooper, a Sniper, and two Riflemen. Quiet would also be accompanying you in this expedition, considering her skills would be invaluable in unknown territory. The total roster would be seven people, counting yourself. You were going to be inserted at a nearby town via Pequod, who'd do his best to get you as close to the coastal town as possible.
But before you could leave, you needed a quick headcount to make sure everyone was here.
"Brass Bear." The man in question was your Combat Engineer, a tall, black haired man with a bushy beard and a small , curved scar next to his left eye. He nodded and you marked that he was here, you vaguely remember socking him in the face back in Afghanistan. He was a Soviet if you recall correctly, either a Captain or a common grunt with a passion for mechanics.
Moving on, you called for your Shock Trooper. "Crimson Hawk, report." Hawk saluted, holding an Sz.-336 same as you. He looked to be in his early-30's, with ragged and wild red hair. A lot of facial scars from knives, and a strangely intimidating half-Glasgow Grin on the left side of his face.
The third member of your crew was a Sniper called 'Silver Fox'. Youngest of the bunch at 22, but her skills with a rifle were decent. "Silver Fox, report...Silver Fox?" Looking around the line up, you noticed that there was a head missing. "Where the hell is Silver Fox?" You heard a slight clanking coming from behind you, showing a gray haired woman with blue eyes and a Renov in her hands. Her hair was styled in a light bob, and she was wearing a black beanie over it.
"Sorry sir! Doc Emmerich needed to give the leg a once over!" Looking down, you noticed a steel colored robotic prosthetic just below her right knee. Silver Fox immediately saluted you, right before getting on the helicopter.
Marking her as present, you moved on to one of your riflemen. "Barking Toad." Toad was a one-eyed brunette woman, carrying an AM MSR-4 in her hands. Her remaining eye was a dark hazel, and she never really elaborated on the incident. Some mission accident involving two frag grenades, a roll of duct tape, and two trees.
You don't know how those items culminate in losing a left eye, and you don't want to ask.
"Blackbird!" Blackbird was just like his namesake, being black haired and kind of thin. He was the unofficial leader of Mother Base's birdwatching club, so far, there weren't many birds off the coast of Seychelles besides Seagulls.
There wasn't much use calling for Quiet, since she was already in the Chopper with Pequod.
With everyone here, it was time to figure out where the hell Mother Base ended up. Getting in the Helicopter, you shut the door and waited for Pequod to find a good place to land.

Big Boss
Class: The Boss
Primary: Sz.-336 SMG (9x19mm - Full Auto)
Secondary: AM-D114 LL (.45 ACP Tranquilizer - Semi Auto)
Item: Flash Grenade (x 2)
"Boss, found a beach to land on. Large, open, few wrecked boats for medium cover." Acknowledging the words, Pequod landed the chopper on the beach. It was beautiful in the afternoon light, with shining sand and a blue ocean. The beach gave way to a forest, which as the team pushed on, gave way to more forest.
This forest seemed to be Blackbird's dream, as he was taking a few moments to stop and stare at the flowers or birds. But dragging him along, the team pushed on until they found a dirt road that cut through the forest.
There was a 50/50 chance that either way would lead to a town, so you went left.
Turns out your hunch was right, as you saw the outline of a town in the distance. There was a sign above the road leading into it, saying 'Welcome to Greenfield' It looked like a town from the 1940's, maybe even the 50's if you stretched it. But something wasn't right, you noticed that there weren't any civilians around.
In fact, the only signs of life you were seeing was red armored soldiers marching about the perimeter.
What to do?
...
Command Points Available: 8
Mission Briefing: As you were scouting, you came across a town called Greenfield. There doesn't seem to be any sign of civilian life beyond abandoned cars and shops, after Quiet and Silver Fox did some recon, they managed to spot eight soldiers, two officers (judging by their darker uniforms), and what looks to be an elite going by their purple and gold armor.

"Everyone, go quiet, incapacitate targets then fulton them back to base." You were quick to order, but not before trying to radio Ocelot about the situation. There was an unspoken order to Fulton everything of value, vehicles, supply crates, animals, definitely enemy soldiers for Mother Base.
"Bo Boss? Comm Spotty, we're making Tower." Waiting for the comms to clear up, you heard the iDroid spark to life from your little perch beyond the town's fence while the others went around scouting. "Sorry Boss, no satellites to bounce off of."
Asking for any intel, you were unsurprised by the sparse words. "From what Pequod spotted, there's a barn on the northern edge of town, lots of goats." That would probably come in handy, there were a lot of goats on Mother Base, and wolves, and a bear...And maybe a few other animals you thought were fluffy.
Side note, owl talons hurt.
"Anything you can tell me about the town itself?" A small map appeared above your iDroid, showing four large buildings, several houses, and a military truck parked at the northern edge of it. With the place mapped out, it was time to get back into the swing of things, knock some heads together.
The Myth & Legend - Enemy Detection Chance Decreased
Sneaking into the village, there were two soldiers resting near a small fire made from broken chair legs and fence posts. Taking a quick moment to scan both, you were surprised that they were wearing body armor. Tranquilizer Rounds would only work on arms and legs, going for chest or head shots would leave them somewhat surprized.
So you did the next best thing.

"Volk, you were a guard in X-0, what's one of theirs doing all the way in Gallia?" Pausing for a moment, you listened as the older soldier - Presumably named Volk, answered his subordinate's question.
"Either something of great value - A Valkyur Artifact...Or worse, a potential Valkyur." Valkyur sounded a lot like 'Valkyrie', and the tone used by Volk didn't give you any hopes that this 'X-0' was anything benevolent. Slowly moving forward, you heard a bit more. "I used to guard one of their facilities...No little girl should scream like that."
Getting behind them, you grabbed both men with one hand each Right before knocking both of them out by slamming their heads together. Both men were out cold, and you were quick to fulton them out of there.
"This is Big Boss, two fultoned, no alarms."
"This is Silver Fox and Barking Toad Just fultoned an officer."
"Brass Bear, civilians in the mechanics shop."
"Blackbird here, found some weird glowing blue...Crystals? Rocks? I can't tell. Sending them up." Everyone else had called in, all except for Crimson Hawk. Trying to call him didn't yield anything, so it was time to check his position on the iDroid. He was near the farm towards the north, and it wasn't long before three soldiers were sent sky high.
"Hawk reporting, had to knock some heads together, found three civvies by the farm." There were still a few other soldiers, like that purple uniformed soldier and a few others. That purple uniformed soldier was somewhere around here, and if you were remembering things correctly, there'd be six left.
You were going to have a chat with that X-0 Soldier.
Luckily for you, he was alone at some place called 'Greenfield Historical Museum'. It was a small building, having some minor symbols of anchors and ships on the sign. Sneaking in behind the man, he was currently overlooking a strange spear of some sort.
Well, describing it as a spear would be an insult. It was actually a lance in the shape of a spiral, having a bluish silver hue and an ivory colored grip. The X-0 Soldier looked at it for a moment before moving to smash the glass with the stock of his rifle, but you interrupted him before he could do so.
Kicking out the back of his left knee, you forced him to the ground with your left arm while placing the barrel of your Sz.-336 under his chin. You were surprised by how...Young he looked, with dark gray hair and oddly cold blue eyes.
"Talk." Keeping the SMG steady, you were waiting for answers.
"About? You haven't even asked for anything." Mentally sighing, a few moments later your iDroid pinged and a message came through.
"Boss, this is Silver Fox Quiet and I just tranq'd the last few soldiers." That was useful, now, what to ask your prisoner?

Captured Imperial Rifles x 6
Captured Imperial Submachine Guns x 5 Mysterious Lance x 1
"First thing's first, what's the deal with that spear?" When the strange soldier kept quiet, you pressed the barrel of your SMG under his chin, the end of the suppressor just a hair's breadth away from his head. "Young man, I asked you a question." Relenting under the pressure, he caved within a few moments.
"It's a Valkyur Artifact." Noticing your confusion, he began to explain, or rather, explain the best he could with a gun in his face. "A Valkyur Lance is priceless to X-0, a weapon to surpass anything ever fielded on a human battleground." That sounded strangely like Metal Gear, only with more myth and whatnot. Keeping a hand on him, you ordered for someone to recover the spear for further research.
With that question answered, you had a few more that needed answered. "Was your objective to recover that spear?"
"Primarily...Secondary objective was to recover any Darcsen for the work camps." Darcsen? Was that an ethnic group or religious community that lived around here?
"Okay, now I have more questions...You're going to tell me who the Darcsen are, and where any military installations are." The soldier merely spat in your face, and taking a deep breath, you were prepared to beat his ass seven ways from Sunday. "Very funny, start talking."
It seems your 'personality' won in the end, as you kept a single, stone cold eye on him.
"The Darcsen are the remains of a civilization who lost the War with the Valkyur," There was that word again, just what the hell was a Valkyur or as he's saying 'the Valkyur'. "They're useful for mechanical work, mining, keeping a stable workforce..." You were tempted to smack this bastard, but you were patient.
"If you want to save the Darcsen - Though God knows why, there's three camps nearby."
Good, now he'll tell you about these camps.
...
In the midst of the Boss' interrogation, his little expedition team was watching the civilians pick up their lives. Some of them were packing up, others were wondering where they'd go. The sight was almost kind of pitiful, considering some of them looked to have lived here their whole lives.
Brass Bear had seen the sight before, same with Toad and Blackbird. Fox was probably the only one who hadn't seen the sight before, and Hawk was...Well, he was always an ass when someone wanted to pry into his past.
"So...Has anyone seen Crimson Hawk?" Silver Fox asked, trying to find the Shock Trooper among the people.
"iDroid says he's up by the farm, don't know why." It wasn't long until Hawk returned to the squad, this time accompanied a dark haired woman in a blue dress, carrying a small bundle and holding the hand of a little girl. The bundle turned out to be full of bread, handmade judging by the quality.
"I just wanted to show my thanks, not many people would stick their necks out for us." She explained, before giving her gift to the Diamond Dogs. "I'm Friede, this is my niece Irina." The little girl in question beamed at the mention of her name, standing at attention with a grin that would've brought a smile to anyone's face.
Friede had asked a few questions about them, mostly involving their names, their past, and who they were. Mostly small talk, but the talk got interesting when Friede brought up something.
"Did you come here from Ghirlandaio? I heard the Imperials broke through a few weeks ago." Ghirlandaio sounded important, and as it turned out, it was. The Citadel of Ghirlandaio was supposed to hold out against the Imperials, but news was that they deployed Ragnide Gas against the defending Gallians.
Looks like Friede might be able to figure out where they are, and tell them a little about the place.
...
Feodor felt suffocated by the dark gray walls, only a single, glaring light above him as he was handcuffed to the table. "Ocelot will be here soon." He was told, whoever this 'Ocelot' was sounded intimidating. To Feodor's surprise, the man who entered the interrogation room dressed like something out of a USV Western. But that did little to hinder his intimidating aura, and the professional appearance he held.
"Feodor Volkov, I presume?" Nodding, Ocelot pulled up a chair and began interrogation. "Your men say you're the Commanding Officer of the 3rd Imperial Infantry Platoon?" Nodding, Feodor kept quiet as Ocelot asked yes/no questions. Simple really, but there was no malice from him.
"Now I want you to answer me truthfully, what is X-0?"
The Officer felt a chill up his spine, just like that damned Lucius Adler the 'Good Doctor' sent to look for the Valkyur Lance. "X-0...The Empire's experimental weapons division, they're experimenting on Valkyria." Explaining the evils of X-0, of Belgar and that rat bastard Forseti.
"...Their leader is Heinrich Belgar, but he's probably at his base near the capital."
Ocelot thanked Feodor for his time, and handed him a few pieces of paper. "Thank you for your time Feodor, and one more thing...can you confirm the locations of these three camps?"
...
"I want a tally of all resources by the time Boss gets back on base!" Miller was in a shit mood, new land, new problems, and more importantly a lack of decent reception. Boss said something about 'Ragnite' and 'Valkyur Artifact', what the hell is ragnite and what the hell is a Valkyur?
A few crates of Ragnite appeared in 'arrivals', along with a strange lance. Sighing, he sent them off to R&D, maybe they could figure out what 'Ragnite' was.
Hopefully things would get better, and that Miller could just relax on Mother Base with a nice drink. But no rest for the wicked, as some of the troops were always saying. Hell he was even saying it, but despite it, he began coordinating some sort of system for determining their remaining supplies.
...
OCELOT: Boss, that X-0 Agent you recovered is Lucius Adler, a Junior Agent of the EWD. We'd have a treasure trove of intel if we pushed him more, maybe even figure out where this 'Heinrich Belgar' is located. As for some of the Imperial Soldiers, they're wary, but we might have some new soldiers here soon. We've also got a few missions, there are three camps to our north. Stahl, Eisen, and Kupfer. Feodor confirmed that they're Darcsen Work Camps, but Stahl recently apprehended four Gallian Militia Members.
I'll send the missions to your iDroid.
...
[] Main Missions - Main Missions progress the story, and can be done at any time. These missions take priority over Side Ops and Mercenary Dispatch, and so far you only have two missions and three Side Operations. You can dispatch soldiers to deal with Side Operations while you deal with Missions, which can be beneficial.
-[] Mission 1: Lost Souls: We've confirmed that there are four soldiers within Kupfer, they were en route to the Militia Headquarters in Randgriz before being intercepted by Imperials. Maybe if we rescue these soldiers, the Gallians might welcome us with open arms. If I need to stress this enough, these soldiers need to be returned safe and sound.
Primary Objective: Recover Gallian Militia (0/4)
Secondary Objective: Mark the Prisoner Barracks for Recovery
-[] Mission 2: An Armored Fist: There's reports that the Imperial Army is using a nearby village as a fueling depot for their armored battalions, Eliminate any tanks on site, destroy or capture anything of value to the enemy, and exfiltrate the area.
Primary Objective: Eliminate Imperial Light Tanks (0/3)
Secondary Objective: Eliminate Medium Tank (0/1)
[] Side Ops
-[] Extract Imperial Ace 1: There's rumors of a highly skilled soldier in a nearby camp, maybe we can convince him to work for us.
-[] Liberate Stahl: Eliminate the Guards at Stahl Work Camp, then extract the prisoners.
-[] Liberate Eisen: Eliminate the Guards at Eisen Work Camp, then extract the prisoners.
[] Boss Loadout
-[] Long Gun (Side - Optional):
-[] SMG (Side - Optional):
-[] Long Gun (Back - Optional):
-[] Sidearm (Pistol):
"Boss, there's been reports of a particularly skilled soldier within a small camp not too far from Greenfield." Taking a moment to check your gear, you were satisfied with your gear. An Sz-336 chambered in nine-by-nineteen, forty round magazine, red dot/laser sight, and a suppressor mounted on the end. Your secondary was an AM-D114, mounting a suppressor, laser/flashlight hybrid, and an extended mag, chambered in .45 ACP.
Quiet was sitting opposite of you, cleaning Wicked Butterfly. In almost the blink of an eye, she reassembled the custom rifle in record time, beating Ocelot's record in reassembling his two Colt Revolvers. Now it was time to find this Imperial Ace, and hopefully get him to work for Mother Base.

You were used to operating with only a buddy looking over your shoulder, whether it was Quiet, D-Dog, or D-Horse. They were always there whenever shit hit the fan, a fact you were grateful for. Once Pequod reached the LZ, you dropped out of the helicopter while Quiet blitzed off towards the camp. Doing a quick check of your I-Droid's map, you found out that the camp was to the south of your location - In a large forest.
Perfect.
Starting your trek towards the camp, you estimated that it'd take twenty to thirty minutes of walking before you hit the camp itself. Just you, the wind, Quiet's humming, and the sound of a car engine- Wait.
Shit.
Dropping into the tall grass, you prepared your Sz and held your breath as the engine drew closer. A shape appeared on the horizon, a transport truck by the looks of it. That's when an idea popped into your head, or rather, a few different ideas popped into your head. You could either deploy a cardboard box marked 'FOR STROHEIM', or simply steal the truck after disabling the driver and his passenger. Now what to do...

AN: In Ohio for a business trip, decided to work on this for a few hours.
...
Curling up in your box, you heard Quiet's humming over the comms, the subsonic pops of her rifle interrupting her tune in oddly predictable intervals. You counted seven shots, then her humming resumed as you heard the Imperial Truck pull up next to your position. The Engine was silenced, and you heard boots marching towards you. You estimated that there were two soldiers, going by footsteps and the muffled voices you heard.
"Hans."
"Yes Artyom?"
"Was this package here when we left?"
The two soldiers began talking about whether or not your box was here when they left, but after about ten, maybe fifteen minutes of back and forth chatting they threw your box in the back of their truck. Hearing the truck start up once more, you were bounced around the back of the truck by the rough dirt road. You were tempted to fall asleep right then and there, but about thirty minutes later you felt the truck stop.
Hearing another pop from Quiet's end, there was a plink as the truck's engine died rather loudly. It sputtered out for a few moments before dying, and the soldiers were rather confused. But one of them was kind enough to pick your box out of the back and call for Stroheim, allowing you a direct route to the Imperial Ace.
After a few moments of being roughly manhandled and dropped into someone's tent, you heard a voice call out.
"You utter fools! Who intrudes on- Oh it's you. Thank you Hans." There was the sound of a tent flap rustling, and it wasn't long until Stroheim opened up the box. Popping out with lightning fast reflexes, you clocked the red clad Ace with an impressive right hook. He was dazed long enough for you to hit him with a tranquilizer.
With all that excitement over, you got a good look at him.
He was in his mid-30s, with the wildest golden haircut you've ever seen. Strong features, good body, he looked to be in peak physical condition. His uniform was a dark red, with a storm cloud emblem on the left shoulder. Giving him a quick scan with the Int Scope, you got a positive ID on your target.
Name: Robert von Stroheim
Aliases: Stroheim The Storm
Class: Shocktrooper
Potential 1: Inspiring Presence (Allied Soldiers Gain +10 On All Rolls)
Talent: The Storm (Has A Chance To Rout Enemy Soldiers)
Once your target was positively Identified, you slung the soldier over your shoulder and got out of the tent, hearing storm clouds over in the distance. Your iDroid beeped with a weather warning, listing off what was probably going to happen in the next five minutes. This might complicate things, but you've had worse things happen.
"WARNING: Severe Storm Approaching, Fulton Use Discouraged."
'Severe' was probably overselling it, but you should probably get the hell out of here. You've disabled the vehicles in the camp, the generators are probably broken as well, so you don't have to worry about enemy reinforcements...
You're feeling that Fulton Itch again, but there's no time. Unless...

Motherbase was alive with the sound of people hustling and bustling, Miller was limping around barking orders to the Diamond Dogs. He may have only a left arm and right foot, but he was still the second...Third most intimidating man on this rig. While he was ordering some soldiers around, he was bumped into by a somewhat familiar face.
Black hair, familiar beard, and was about half a head taller than him.
"Feodor right? The hell are you doing out of the brig?"
The former Imperial handed him a clipboard with some notes on it, stuff from R&D. "Ocelot allowed me to run some papers through the base until major communications are rebuilt." Looking over the clipboard, Miller silently died inside when he saw the laundry list of shit the R&D Department needed done. Research this 'Ragnite', give that lance a look over, and fix the comms were the ones that stuck out the most.
Sighing, Miller knew that this was going to be a long day.
