Also sorry for lack of update. Crisis at my shop today. Water isn't flowing so I had to buy water to keep my shop running. It was ridiculously expensive, too. And it's not very clean.

I'll try tomorrow but can't make any promises. Shit day.

    Stood on one of the side-streets of the Imperial Capital, the murmur of the distant crowd is a whisper in your ears... Still, you're not sure you heard her right.

    The Kafra girl smiles patiently at you. She repeats herself. "There is a message for you from Geffen."

    You'd thought that place was forever in your past. That you've left it behind. You hope it's a coincidence, some forgotten friend or minor quest for you that by chance is remotely connected to the city.

    You swallow. "What is it, then?"

    "Just one second, sir." She gestures at the air in front of her face momentarily, then pauses. Her eyes flick over to your face, then her smile turns apologetic. "The message is as follows: 'Brother, I know it has been a while, but please come home. No matter how much you hated Mother, please at least attend her funeral. It will be held on the seventeenth of the Mid-autumn month.'. End of message."

    You breathe in, then out.

    Mother's dead..?

    "...Alright. Thank you."

    "Ah," she says awkwardly, then bows. "The Kafra Corporation is proud to be able to serve you in all circumstances. Please talk to any one of us if you require anything else."

    You nod absently at her. You need to figure out what to do.
