[X] Akhem-Ra, or Akhem for short, Human Marksman. He fought for the Pharoah's army as a corporal once, and has some knowledge of tactics and supplying the men. He won't tell you why he was discharged, only that it was unfair, but he seems quite handy with that bow of his.
[X] Illyria Aesyr, Sylphen Knight. She accompanied a semi-famous tourney knight as a retainer before he was eaten by a dragon, thus her lack of employment. You're not really sure if she has much practical experience, but she assures you that she's fought in more than a few melees.
[X] Asker: Cennuth. I want some lads with fire in their belly (ha!) to go out and put a stop to those idiots raiding my shipments. Let 'em know that my business isn't to be messed with.
Assigning those with the most combat experience as lieutenants of a mercenary band just seems sensible to me. The Just/Cynical dichotomy also seems like a way to get well rounded opinions.
Cennuth gives the most traditional mission, which is perfect for a completely new and untested band. It avoids making political enemies before we're even established and going on a 'hard' mission immediately is a bit much IMO. And I don't even want to know what commanding our new subordinates to sewer cleaning will do when it comes to first impressions and morale. Not to mention that that '?' is making me paranoid.
