Memoirs of a Human Flashlight [Exalted/Worm]

If the admin shard was chilling in her head before she Exalted, it got flushed out.

This would have confused Scion for a moment, but ultimately would be deemed irrelevant. He could just plug another human in.

Regardless, there is definitely no shard present now.

Okay.
Too bad, as an Exalted's only real weakness is running out of Essence, usually through attack spamming, and a good Parahuman power would allow them to cover that against most things.
.
This is Un-errattaed Twilight Anima, though, which allows for igniting a Twilight Essence Reactor.

Considering Danny was meant to be the original recipient of the Admin shard, what do you think he would have gotten?
Super paperwork powers?
We can only hope.

Together, they fight crime in the most boring manner possible.

Last I checked, it was free will being the issue, not UMI. Mental effects don't erase Free Will except in the most extreme cases.

So if you can spend willpower to resist the effects, you still have free will. Parahumans demonstrate the ability to ignore and separate their responses from their shards influence, with enough motivation and self-reflection, and as such should count as having "free will".

And that's all I'm saying on the subject.

If you gave a parahuman power to a Solar, you'd want it to be something that would synergize with the Solar Package. Ideally, the best shard would be something that augments their attributes, so an Alexandria package kind of deal would be ideal, I think. Also vastly improves performance vs. Endbringers, as you wouldn't need to perfect defense quite so much against them.
Or in the long term, something related to the few things solars are truly incapable of (short of essence 10 ascension/transcendece shenanigans). Like time travel or ressurecting the dead.

Question: Is this related specifically to this story in question, or are you guys just too stupid to not fuck off to whatever Worm general thread is appropriate?

Well, there happens to be a 2500 post cap currently. And we're coming dangerously close to that limit with all these arguments.
Arguments which don't pertain to this story, and could probably be moved to some thread that isn't about 70 posts away from the cap.
a) You know, Threads aren't limited quantities. The next thread doesn't need any money/motes/offerings/eldritch-rituals/etc... to be created, thus in sum total everyone will have UNLIMITED number of posts to continue any arguments or conversation in the next, new thread.

BUT

b) Argument's off-topic guys: Word of God already said Solar!Taylor does NOT have a shard. Please take this (obviously interesting argument, to you) elsewhere...

AND ALSO, BUT:

c) @Kyte: Just because you're correct and holding the high ground does not give you the license to be RUDE to your SB peers. Please ask them nicely next time, would ya?

Yes, it sucks, because discussions on anything by their nature will derail, and this keeps repeating. But a simple request works just as well as a rude one (most of the time). And it makes people perceive you a lot less... hostilely.

Yes, she'd be immune. However, the rest of BB isn't, and what happens to cities that get Smurfed? (Hint: See Canberra for an example.) It's decidedly not Smurfy. :(
A variant of order afirming blow to remove the smurfing... and with solar charms she could convince people that she tells the truth.

I would definitely like to see where this goes... But I'm not reading multiple pages of kvetching and outright bitching from your users to see it - do you have this posted anywhere in CHAPTERS? Aka an actual fiction site? Because I like the story and can't stand the thread.

EDIT: Sorry, I missed the Index... too little sleep but my brain won't shut off. Hopefully there's an index in the next thread as well.

You understand that the timestamps on this forum are in tiny point and I've been up for over 48 hours to start with? The human brain starts playing tricks on you the longer it goes without REM sleep.

So, no I didn't know. I apologize for getting your hopes up.
