Memento Mori (Fire Emblem/Advance Wars)

No. You've still got ground troops and the majority of this RP is going to consist of character interactions. I won't make your CO run out of bullets for their personal handguns or rifles.
Also going to take longer to run out of ammo than fuel. This holds even truer for the Days of Ruin faction(s), who are used to making their shots count.
And the fuel situation can be somewhat rectified.

Basically, if you sparingly decide what to throw your forces at, you can make them last the whole RP.
If you throw them at everything, you're going to run dry quick.
Interesting. Very interesting and good to know. Sticking to machine guns for the most part, then.

At least I have a decent assortment of forces for this. Lots of APCs, no real fuel guzzlers. I pity the people who have to keep planes supplied.

Hm...
Also, going to say for that on the Fire Emblem side, with the exception of regular troops and civilians, people can take more physical punishment before succumbing to their wounds, and might be capable of physical feats that simply aren't possible for even the strongest AW character.

Okay character time, no pictures yet and I'll flesh things out as I get more of a feel for the characters. Will work on my first post later today

Main faction leaders:

Brigadier General Edward Bannon, NRA/RMC

Late of the Rubinelle Marine Corps Ed Bannon was one of the few high ranking officers to survive the cataclysm. A major in charge of what was left of a Marine battalion. He spent several weeks wandering the wasteland, gathering other survivors. He was eventually able to make contact with what was left of the Rubinelle Army. His unit was folded into the newly formed New Rubinelle Army. He quickly came to the conclusion that Admiral Greyfield was insane, but continued to serve under banner of the NRA with the hopes of one day re-establishing Rubinelle's armed forces, with or without Grayfield.

Major Jim Waylon, NRA/RAF

Waylon was a up and coming pilot before the cataclysm, afterwards he tried to fight the looters and raiders with several of his old unit mates, to little success. He quickly came to the attention of Admiral Greyfield as a like minded individual, serving as the man's right hand man for several months. After the admiral's death, he tried to flee but ran into General Bannon's forces. His status is still undetermined.

Other OCs:

Captain Sandra Chandler, NRAN/RN

CO of the Rubinelle cruiser Implacable. Survived the cataclysm with major damage to her ship. Met up with General Bannon sometime later, and attached herself to his command.

Captain Kenneth R. McCoy, NRA/RMC

A former colleague of General Bannon, and another veteran of the Rubinelle Marine Corps. McCoy now commands Bannon's infantry detachment.

1st Lieutenant Ryan Sandison, NRA/RA
A former Rubinelle Corps of Engineers sapper, Sandison now commands the 21st Combat Engineer Battalion under the command of General Bannon.

By the way, I've taken the spot where Robin was found at the beginning of awakening as my starting position.

I thought it would be fitting! :p

Why do I have the feeling that the Valmese Legion is going to be the least worrying thing that's turned up in Ylisse?
