Fuck yeah, Iron Fist and Jess are actually fighting this time. I like the action choreography.
I myself liked season 1 of Iron Fist when I watched it myself, feel like it gets a lot of flak from SJWs online, this show looks like it will be very good.

How would you rank the 4 Netflix shows? For me it's in this order.

1: Daredevil
2: Iron Fist
3: Jessica Jones
4: Luke Cage

It was interesting? I can't really say anything more than that. There isn't much of a hook for me, and while the preceding shows has been decent thus far, nothing has been wowing me like the first season of Daredevil has. So I'll just wait for it. There's a 50:50 chance of it being kind of Meh like Iron Fist did (I mean, it's nowhere near as bad as initially reported, but aside for the "whitewashing" problem, I can sort of see where they came from) to something amazing like the Avengers and Netflix's greatest shows (they do have a good track record, though not exactly spotless).

So yeah, just wait and see. It's nothing outrageous like the Death Note trailer, controversial like Dear White People trailer, nor did it feel me with hype like "Underwood 2016-2020-2024-2028-2032-2034; One Nation... Underwood," did.

Hopefully whoever's directing this will not have Danny's grimvoice still being a thing. It doesn't suit him.

Despite whatever problems the show had, Iron Fist was good, me,my best mate, my girlfriend and two of my nephews liked it.

i know SJW's moaned about the casting.
Leaving aside how dumb it is to qualify criticism of whitewashing, justified or not, as something "sjw", IF received tons of criticisms outside of that, notably its shitty pacing and its atrocious fighting choreography.

If you liked it, good for you, but don't paint the opposing side in the lazy paintbrush that is claiming "sjw" for every little thing.

Edit: I mean, I'm surprised you never stumbled upon this, it was all over the Internet for its Taken 3-level of bad editing

I've seen shows and films with worse pacing, and shows with worse fighting choreography as well.

Anyway, I can imagine Defenders will be very good when it's uploaded for all to watch.

IF had various virtues and problems, but it wasn't particularly worse or better than most of the MCU, imo. Casting was alright for the most part and apparently someone up top gave the budget two shotgun blasts to the knees for whatever reason - which is kinda difficult to blame on those having to try and work with said budget.

It was no Immortal Iron Fist, but to expect it to be is kinda unair. It certainly didn't deserve anything close to the stupidly low reviews it got, though.

Hopefully the show will have a bigger budget for season 2.

*Vibrating with excitement*
*Still needs to watch IF, is a completionist, wants to form his own opinion and doesn't want to see 50 billion posts complaining about it*

What really got to me is that the show about the blind superhero had better choreography than the one about Kung Fu Messiah. It's even sadder when Into the Badlands, a show that came out at approximately the same time, had better martial arts to show for it and just showed how either the showrunners didn't care for it in IF or rushed it.

I wouldn't complain about pacing if the previous Marvel Netflix shows didn't have better ones, but when you compare them side by side, IF comes out a lot poorer for it. "I've seen worse" doesn't really work as an excuse.

As for my ranking:
1. Daredevil S1
2. Jessica Jones
3. Luke Cage
4. Daredevil S2 (only the Punisher Arc was S1-level, the rest was meh)
5. Iron Fist

I wouldn't have both seasons of Daredevil as separate entries on the list.

I liked Iron Fist, I feel that Luke Cage went down after Cottonmouth died in season 1 and Diamondback showed up.

Eeeeh, on the comic side of things, he's kinda not. He's certainly excellent at it, but
he crashes out hard in the first fight of a knockout formant martial arts tournament among the Seven Immortal Weapons to Fat Cobra and he's flat out awed by some of the capabilities of certain other participants. All of these participants have supporting roles throughout the rest of the run and there are several other characters substantially better than him too.

His true emphasis and greatest strength as the Iron Fist has always revolved around the titular Iron Fist and what he can do with it, with the martial arts being a major, but secondary focus.

Don't get me wrong, this is a minor nitpick and the choreography needed a lotta work - especially in the first half, with the later episodes having some good fight. Just I'm a big fan of Iron Fist from the comics and felt the need to address the whole 'best martial arts guy ever' idea.

Fundamentally, Iron Fist is a martial arts show that couldn't afford to choreograph good martial arts, nor give its actors more than a crash course. That's never going to work out. If people enjoyed it, well, more power to them, but that doesn't make it good.

Incidentally, I love that Jessica and Luke are in constant "What the ****" mode, Danny is basically Mr. "THIS IS THE MOST AWESOMEST THING THAT EVER THINGED", Matt's basically Zen Peace by comparison, and Clair is pretty clearly Nick Fury.

Teaser poster for Defenders has been released.

I don't know why, but for some reason I find this to be really cute. Not intimidating, or exciting, just honest-to God cute. It's like looking at rowdy kids trying to look cool, this group of three guys and one gal trying to protect New York from big bad evil. :lol

My nephew felt the same way when he saw this image himself.
