Thats actualy a very good question, if Taylor is not Queen Administator shard (at least i think she is not because Tinker) then maybe Danny triggered in a Bad way? I can be wrong but for now i think it's plausible

I really hope that when this shit show starts taylor will get professional help (ie our favourite dark lawyer Quinn Calle) as much as I like the rip and tear solution , I find curb stomping the Protectorate legally much more enjoyable, especially after she gave away her invention since there was no contract and trusted the protectorate to act in good faith , a stupid decision if there ever was one (yes taylor the legal mumbo jumbo is important for all you know you're devices are being sold 10M a unit and probably are since they're basically mass producable mechanical panacea , and dragon can't refuse orders from sanctioned authorities even if they violate the spirit of the law.) and as a result got her designs leaked.

That was a dozzy of a chapter. Brilliant fights, The PRT being a nozzle and Saint being Saint.
I don't say this often as a lot of stories portray Danny in a positive light, or write him out completely but, your Danny can go jump into the Sarlac pit and I hope he suffers.

Awesome HK is a thing here! I'm so happy, I love HK and it's a fucking shame he isn't used more in Fics. It was everything I wanted from HK, and more.

And from her viewpoint she would be perfectly correct to do so. Sure, the PRT or any other legal authority could order Dragon to screw her over, but she doesn't know that, and more importantly, why would they kill the golden goose?
From their viewpoint, Taylor appears to be a tinker whose creations can be mass produced.
This is what is known as 'The Holy Grail' from the PRT's perspective.
I expect Carol's little tantrum to backfire on her horribly once that fact sinks in.

Your optimism is nice to see... but also a bit naive. Taylor is brand new to the cape scene and already a major player in a way almost no cape gets to be. Four kills under her belt, independent robots, miracle healthcare system, reproducible tech. The only way she could make more waves short of snapping and going sith on the world is if she decides to clone am army.
everyone is eying her waiting for her next move and thinking "how do I use her to my advantage." Coil, Saint, dragon, Cauldron, Guild, PRT, probably the elite, the yangban if they get an opening.
the only saving grace is that once she kills enough idiots who have it coming most of the minor players should get the hint.

I know that's why I said WHEN shit hits the fan and the PRT freaks out about having the tinker who curbstumped the ABB and E88 who can build sentient murderbot and has no calms using them , having 'kidnapped' the gal who can tell niblog to hold her beer they're gonna over react, try to 'rein her in'.
Dragon is gonna be stuck with the canary situation all she can do is vouch for tay tay which will do nothing to assuage piggot's fears and with Calvert trying to make her make a mistake it'll be even worse, the fact that they already have her device without biding agreement on how to use it will only make them more confident in there actions , you also need remember that in canon piggot has serious control issues and abhores those who do not conform to the status quo , enough that she just might strangle the golden goose if there is any chance of it not being on her side.
All dragon will be able to do is sit back and apologise for being unable to do anything ,
when her devices start being distributed from different ( villainous) sources because of what is from her perspective is due to the person she entrusted the plans to ie dragon incompetence or worse active malignance ,It will go a long way in destroying what little faith she has in heroes both as individuals and organisations.
But until that point I agree she will find little reason to hire a professional, when that happens though hiring said professional would be a logical action from her perspective.

Because even a light freighter is actually pretty darn big. 35ish meters long, 30ish meters wide, and 7.6 meters tall, some 3600 (bit smaller than) cubic meters. Nothing else she has built comes anywhere near that in size.

1) Force Witch Rancor Calvery
2) Using the Dark Side immediately making you ugly.
3) A Death Star-clone station intentionally shaped like a light saber.
Let them write what they want, there's pretty much nothing that can't be justified by some bit of SW lore, and no reason to nit pick about "But actually that doesn't work like that..." Yes in fact is does at at least once somewhere, and as long as the story is consistent and entertaining the pedantry should be held to a minimum if possible.

A very, very early EU novella about a Hutt crime lord building a stripped down death star superlaser that was just a big tube. He noticed it looked like a lightsaber, but he was EVIL so he called it the Darksaber.
I say this as someone who likes the Star Wars EU: I would not defend most of it.

Well. Thats a much better way to describe powers from star wars than I've usually seen in worm x star wars fics. They usually make her a jedi. Or a sith. Or some minor tinker bullshit. But Galactic Warfare is a very good description for a star wars power set. Ion cannons. Galaxy guns. Acclamators. Super star destroyers. Impstar dueces. Impstar victories. Death star 1 and 2. Blue shadow virus. The rhakgoul plauge. Yeah. Star wars has some scary shit.

If you'll take some unsolicited advice?
Don't burn yourself out. If you're worried about update schedules break up long chapters into shorter ones (at appropriate moments); the last chapter could have easily been 4-5 spread out over a week and a half.
Keep using those outlines, far too few writers on the web use tried and true methods of writing (as learned in school!) and they really do help. If you end up worried about plot, plotting, pacing, ect. write a very high level outline of it. Know where your story is going to end and roughly how it's going to get there. If you want more detail you can fill it in in stages and degrees of complexity.
All in all, great work. I'm really enjoying it so far and look forward to what you've got coming next.
