I just realized I hadn't voted. Huh.

At least I'll vote for the first part. As they say, Homu gonna Homu if we tell her about Oriko.

[X] Don't bring up Oriko -- without Sabrina you have no real way to handle her, and besides, she didn't contract until after Sabrina showed up anyway... also Sabrina has always wanted her to stay alive, and you have a sinking feeling about how plausible that will be if you speak up about her here.

About the second part, I dislike both votes: I'd prefer Mami to leave to do something (even if it's just lunch for Homura and herself) but I don't like the idea she's imposing herself by staying with Homura as the wording says.

About what to do with Mami's day... It's mid-morning and she doesn't have anything to do since she doesn't school anyway and she's convinced herself Sabrina isn't anywhere close.

Some things I can think:
- Investigate the "bombing" of MMS in more detail, trying to fing who is beind it.
- Reaching to Kazumi via telepathy, just to talk. Even if Kazumi won't remember her "last" meeting (events in PMAS) or how difficulty may be meeting face-to-face without Sabrina Kazumi still remembers Mami fondly and considers her a friend.

I'd say, 'Go do whatever and then return for lunch with Homura' but is Mami aware Homura uses most of her non-timestop time stalking watching Madoka?

Oh votes are totes locked; have been for a week and a half. The post has been partially written for that long, too.

Like I said blame firn :V

Ok true story.

So I'd been writing the chapters in here right.

Aaaaaaaaaaand then I didnt write for a while right.

So nobody could possibly have predicted that the chapter might have, you know, not been saved eventually.

Nobody!

Therefore, it is entirely firn's fault.

And that's why I moved my draft writing to google docs. One too many times where my half done work would just... poof.

Curse you Firn!:p

And I am the heathen who writes 60k word long documents in a .txt editor! Then you can have like 15 things open at once and your computer doesn't slow down!

It makes me feel better that I'm not the only person this happens to. Though it looks like you're not letting loosing your draft slow you down!

Isn't there just something more exciting and more immediate about writing something up in the SV text editor than some sterile google doc, or word processor?

Or is that just me?

I just have a better computer then you *looks at the 7 word documents, 6 PDF's and zillion firefox tabs open* (ok looked since that was 7 months ago...)

and zillion firefox tabs open

Oh god not another one. }=o) A friend of mine does that, and she's had to scroll trying to reach the end of said tabs, and didn't actually manage to get there before she gave up.

But no, fair, my computer is a 2012 Mac that I've run far more CS assignments and VMs on than was ever good for the poor thing.

... on the bright side, Chrome saves 27k favorites far better than Internet Exporer did!

... You don't have to do that. You just click the down arrow on the right and scroll through them that way. And you don't even have to scroll all the way through those, since it loops and you can go from the top to the bottom by hitting up again.

**shrug** dunno what she did, and I don't much use Firefox unless I need three separate browsers up, but it was several hundred tabs, so, scrolling issues or no, finding anything must have been a chore.

Personally, I have multiple windows, each with multiple tabs, with different windows having different themes/sites. For example, on this window I have SV and SB. If it gets to the point where it doesn't show all the tabs at once (and it isn't a temporary thing), I further split the windows. Makes things a bit easier to find.

I've got a lot of Firefox tabs, but I've also got it set up to collapse them in a tree structure (and put them in a sidebar, so more fit on screen at once) and unload anything I haven't looked at for a while, so there's not much as far as making my computer choke.
