Anyway, I'm still having trouble pinning down Momo. We seem to be landing a bunch of points in a bunch of different types. Like I think we have Nice Girl, Cool Girl, Notice Me Sempai(s), and a touch of The Cool Sempai all at the same time. Maybe with a side of Best Wingman/Friend depending on how tight we are with Suburu.
Although I'm now imagining us going Matou Sakura-lite style Notice Me Sempai at Nanoha.

I got the impression that, given the entire shadow theme and overall sneakiness, she doesn't particularly want to be noticed... outside of her direct chain of command, that is.
But maybe constantly lurking in the shadows is getting to her and she craves a metaphorical spotlight since she can't have a real one.
Come to think of it, will Momo be revealing Homuhomu anytime soon, or is she going to be our little secret?

Momo is pretty Sakura-esque, yeah. She wants to be known as the unsung hero or the best kept secret of RF6. The kouhai of light who works in the shadows.
In order to be known as a dependable person, she has to impress her superiors. Thus, the notice me senpai bit.
Are folks asking if Momo is going to reveal Megahomu's identity? That's up to you, but right now she's a Jane Doe, or Hanako Tanaka, as it were.

Out of 12 junior Magical girls of the MPD, only half make it past ten minutes of her grueling, torturous training. Cries of anguish and bitter despair, worse than any war scene in a period piece, serve to demoralize the rest.
By the halfway point, the only junior members still standing are yourself and a rather large girl with boyish black hair keeping pace with Kaori. She's panting like a dog, her sweat soaks through a headband that says "Give It Your All" in flowery calligraphy. You think she's going to make it to the end with you, but on the final set of Hindu squats, she seizes up with cramps and falls on her face.
You swear the ground shakes.
"Shame," Kaori says, appraising the girl. "She had potential. Perhaps with some more cardio training..."

And she has found many interesting things.
First off: the Pretty Killers are setting up for a changing of the guard. Before it turned into a Majokko Standoff, Usagi was planning to announce her retirement from the criminal underworld at the Millenium Suites. She's groomed her little half-sister, Usako Tsukinoura for the Boss position. Nagisa Kuroishi and Honoka Shiroda, Usagi's underbosses, aren't too happy about it. They each want to be the Boss, and each expects the other to accept being their underboss. The Pretty Killers are banding together now in the face of RF6 (and a mysterious, probably very cute eminence of the shadows), but you have a stress point there that can easily fracture.
Oh, and Usagi's looking for Homura. Not just your Homura, but the other one. Usagi's got a special score to settle with her, it seems.
Speaking of which, outside of the standard Goddess cult stuff, word on the street's there's a Walpurgis-tier Witch somewhere in Mitakihara. Most of the rumors point to the Marui-gumi having it; either in a girl or chained up in a warehouse somewhere. Honestly, you expected it to be the Marui-gumi; girls always said Boss Kaname looked like the Goddess. She had to have the Goddess's luck; how else would she be able to stay alive as the girlfriend of Mitakihara's most dangerous woman, Homura Akemi? How else could she garner respect enough that you call her Boss Kaname even when she was never implicated in the Marui-gumi's illicit activities?

Anyway, there's also talk that Joan of Arc is alive and walking the streets of Kamihama, that a Magical Girl serial killer stalks the outer limits of Mitakihara, and that Midori Matsuda's ramen heals Maj and Mug alike. Oh yeah, and one of the gangs has a Clara Doll in it, whatever that is. Sounds like an idol thing.
Finally, the Idol Threats. Higanbana N.V.'s holding another concert in Kazamino, the rush for advance tickets left 17 wounded and 1 dead. RF6's been following her concerts and not just because Yuno loves her music; she's the spearhead for a nationwide drug smuggling operation. Nana and Yuno have found a potential distribution center and are building the case for a warrant; Nana says she'll be able to mobilize something soon.
Also, the Idol Threats' intelligence officer, Tama Mochizuki, has a huge bondage kink. She's also got a fox fursona. Yuno felt you should know that.

Okay, so we have rank and file with a crush on Boss Kaname, Slaughterhouse Samurai and Lovely Animal. What about the Hungry Wolf and the Huntress Spider, don't they have any fans? ...Monomin, anyone?
Makes me worry about Yuri. What would she be doing without Kei to take care of? Come to think of it, I don't think we ever learned how the two met and what "Obligation: Yuri Sasaki" on Kei's sheet truly meant.
