If Vivio wanted privacy rights, she should have thought of that before she was artificially created.

But to be (pseudo) serious merely charging in and trying to stomp things is clearly not going to be the way forward here; if we want to be a good bodyguard we need to hone our skills. If we're strong enough, Vivio won't need to be surveilled all the time because we'll have her properly safe and protected through our immense power, and if she isn't that safe, well then clearly we aren't strong enough bodyguards.

In addition to what the others already said, we set a precedent of being a goal-focussed, tactical thinking Einhart by retreating from the other encounter before. I would like to continue that and build up our strength before we make ourselves known; time for training will get more rare once the opposition knows we are actually there.

Checking online dictionary, that's should be 'Heilige' but then again the 'Kaiser' part is also used in the masculine form, whereas the feminine form should be 'Kaiserin'. Ah well. :V

What's the out-of-universe reasoning for making 'Heiliger' the 'proper form' instead of Sankt BTW? If there's any subtle difference of meaning in IRL German, I can't find at glimpse by Google.

This is correct.

As far as I know, "Heilige/-r" and "Sankt" are interchangable in regards to their meaning; the latter is normally used for certain figures of the church, though.

I re-watched StrikerS and that's what the Cradle used when it was blaring its warning alert. People just used Sankt in the fandom because...uh, it was easier I guess?

But then again, there is always an alternative and our worries could be for not.

Anyways, don't know why people are voting for "get stronger". We won't know who to strike at if she gets hurt by somebody, thus the need for a surveillance system. If we can get it up and running now, we don't have to worry about it later, and potentially miss vital intel exclusive to this quest. "Get stronger" we can do anytime with limited consequences.

Being caught by outside investigators while setting up the surveillance system is a risk, however...

I would like to remind you that Vivio is the daughter of one Takamachi Nanoha; the very most powerful mage in the entire setting. Anything that manages to hurt the girl and does not get obliterated by her mother is out of Einhart's league.

Surveillance is a good thing for later, but Vivio should be safe for now. Getting stronger takes priority to me.

Another reason not to go full Big Brother on Vivio is that we suspect J to be Jail Scaglietti; or at least related to him.

With how he tried to push for his idea here, especially with the wording in the last paragraph, I am rather sure he has his own ideas and plans on the matter. So I would prefer not to give him full access to Vivio's schedules, contacts and whatever else before we know him a little better and can make a guess for what he wants.

Or... at least until he gives us a reason to actually trust him with this.

This is fair, but I doubt Hayate is going to be succumbing into despair and going to the Dark Side anytime soon (not to mention that while Hayate beats Nanoha in raw power, she has some pretty distinct limitations), and honestly I expect we'll get fair warning before anybody more powerful than a S+ mage (two if Fate happens to be around) hits the scene. (I'm not saying you disagree per se, I just think these are factors worth pointing out.)

And honestly if "J" wants us to do something, that's a pretty huge sign that we probably shouldn't do it, at least not the way he wants. Dude is super sus and while a valuable asset, I don't really want to take any of his ~ideas~ to heart. It's better to train and try to protect Vivio on our own terms.
