Magical Advisor Quest 2: Idiocy Ensues (ON HIATUS)

If you actually try to do that, I'll have to hold a vote on whether you guys want it, or think it's just too silly. But if people want it, well, I've thrown enough logic out thus far.

... Technically speaking, sort of. You did significantly decrease your chances of getting several of the hidden mana types with various actions you've taken. That wasn't what I meant, though.
Have we already missed brutally murdered our chances of getting Sanity Mana? Can I put in a request for "(False) Sanity Mana"? I feel like that might be something we've unlocked by now.

Mechanically, Sanity Mana would let us be smarter, and help infuse others with rationality during fight/flight moments, among other things, right? Therefore, (False) Sanity would let us "stabilize" others' minds, and convince them that our logic is completely sound, without needing to retreat into several bottles first. Additionally, we could attempt to boost our Sanity, and watch the fireworks from an OOC/Speaker perspective. Not to mention the solid "take (11d√(-1) +π) SAN dmg" ability, just for shits n' giggles.

I just want to see Eito start treating sanity like Mana Bonds/capacity - mostly settled, but can be mucked with for bonuses and glory.

The reason why I want Art mana specifically is because Zen has already confirmed it exists and that Eito can do horrible horrible things by inverting it into anti-art

You are right. How about this, let us put mind mana into a seal until it gets sentient and see what happens.
Or we could dump Mind into the Alpha Network

Could we create a mana Generator with tech which does nothing but pump mind mana into the ground below us?
Only sapient beings create mana. I guess it would be in character for your to give multiple people points in Mind, and then mind-rape them into constantly forcing their Mind mana into Earth, but it would take vast, VAST quantities of mana. So unless you can Seal a few million people...
edit: so what do the Seals look like?
They don't really have a physical form. They're more of a concept/'feeling'/messed-up-THING beyond most beings' capability of understanding. But it's not like interacting with Seals or carrying them around in your body drives you slowly crazy or anything, uh-huh!
Also, I figured out a way to make proto-seals
You are a terrible, horrible person. I like it.

Alas, there's no such thing. In fact, it's actually impossible for there to be such a thing because of that 'plot' stuff everyone hates. WOE IS ME mwahahaha.

As a warning, that's an insta-BadEnd.

edit: Holy crud, I have MOST of the update written, and am suddenly feeling really really freaking bad. Apparently not as recovered as I thought. Will finish and post tomorrow morning, I seriously need to lie down. Sorry

Huh, didn't you mention Mana Generators as a possibility before? I think I asked about it. *Checks Threads*

Mana is generated by the spirit/soul/whatever-you-want-to-call-it. It's just a useless byproduct of the spirit's existence, until such time as you slap a load of [insert mana type here] into it via a mana link, and make it useful.

You can manipulate someone into having higher mana pools, but it's kind of hit and miss. The girls have all had their max MP slightly raised over the course of the game, but the amount that's generated is based on the size of the mana pool itself. Larger ones are refilled faster.

Some kind of mana generator or absorber sure would be an interesting idea, wouldn't it? Although Eito's never heard of anything like that... ;)

So.... what we Need are countless souls of our enemies caught and forced into a single machine, which milks them of their mana and refines it into whatever type we want.

Either that or breaking reality with another bout of idiocy.

Or maybe something that just sucks the waste mana from unsealed People and refines it further?

Eh. It's not actually terrible so long as you either
  1. Design their initial minds to accept and want the merger procedure
  2. Or only make them sapient during the mirroring procedure (when you have to throw around a lot of Mind anyway)

feel better soon. And maybe talk to a doctor.

Ooookay.

So after coming off major bed-rest, and feeling 85% better, I am just... unable to write. Anything. (Holy crap, looking at when I was last online, it's been over a week already. Um. Sorry?)

Due to that and other RL issues, I'm going to have to put the quest on super-duper-official-uh-huh hiatus. I'm kicking myself for this, and honestly sorry, but I just can't continue this for a while. Maybe in another week or so my Eito-inspiration will have been renewed and I won't be staring blankly at a screen, but I can either stick this on an actual break and try to relax some, or I can churn out a load of crap that - oh, wait, that's the quest so far, anyway. Never mind.

This quest WILL be continued (in two weeks max, unless my boss kills me for all my sick-leave) and finished (somehow), and I hope you'll return to it when it does. But if not, thank you for playing. Except for those of you who keep trying to kill my liver. :(

tl;dr hiatus also i suck

Except for those of you who keep trying to kill my liver. :(
Eito thinks that all your health problems will go away if you just get rid of that nasty liver thing. You don't need it. Eito doesn't have one and Eito is perfectly healthy. Especially after sleeping. Have you tried sleeping? If not you really should. Especially if you've been awake for a week without sleeping. Eito has heard that's not good for you. Well maybe its a status effect. You should go down to the item shop and buy a Remedy uhuh uhuh.
