[X] Hide in Student Council Room
-[X] "I wish to report an assault!"

Anyway...Ifeel sorry for the prez, he's stuck with such a feminine name despite being male.

You know, the vice-pres could be just covering for him/her and telling a lie.
If its true and the prez really is a guy(we must confirm this ourselves), then his folks must have really hated him.
If she's actually a reverse trap, she may have one of those nobility parents who are "we will never accept that our only child is a female who will never be the family head, so we'll train her up as a man instead".
Or "before I am a Knight and Lord, before I am a girl".

Kinda like Shirogane Naoto in Persona 4.

Of course, down that path lies regression, reality escape, repressed emotions, innocence.
Oh and possible gender shenanigans in the future when she attempts to find her long-lost inner female. :D

Were collecting the Prez eitherway.

0.7.1 Student Council, Again
[X] Hide in Student Council Room

You remember Shirley telling you that the Student Council will assist you in any way they can in case if you get yourself into trouble. And you are definitely in trouble at the moment, with you being chased by the crazy, murderous girl. While you may have lost her, you've got a feeling that she may catch up sooner or later. Because no matter how big the school is, that girl is still a Magic Knight. Who knows what kind of power she can use to track you down? Such thought makes you shudder.

Knowing that the Student Council Room will become your safe asylum, you immediately head towards the direction of the Student Council Room. You remember where it is, so in no time, you manage to reach the room.

Quickly, you open the door. You do not knock on the door first as you immediately enter the room. Someone is trying to kill you, so you don't really have time with etiquette. Still, you are polite enough to say, "I-I'm sorry, Shirley! I'm coming in!"

As soon as you enter the room, you close it and locked it from inside. Breathing a sigh of relief, you look at the only person inside the room.

Instead of the Vice-President, you see an unfamiliar person, reading some files from the cupboard. It was a girl who seems slightly older than you, and when you enter the room, she shifts her attention from the files she's reading and places them back into the cupboard.

"Huh?" You are confused. You expect to see Shirley, but instead, you meet this white-haired girl. She is wearing a customized Magic Knight uniform that somehow exposes a little bit of her cleavage. She also wears a pair of laced thigh-high stockings, thus exposing the flesh of her thighs. She wears her white, long hair up in twintails.

"Yes, how may I help you?" The girl speaks to you politely.

"Umm... w-where's Shirley?" You ask. You're hoping that Shirley can help you to escape the predicament you're currently having at the moment.

"Ah, you wish to see Miss Vice-President? I'm sorry. She has some businesses to attend to at the moment." She looks at you and adds, "You look like you're out of breath. Are you perhaps running down the hallways on the way here? You shouldn't do that. In this academy, running down the hallways is prohibited. It's a rule..." Then she sees your wounded arms.

"Oh dear... look at those arms... What in the world happened to you?" She asks, worried.

Still trying to catch your breath, you say, "C-can that wait? I-I was trying to save myself from being killed by a crazy girl with ice power."

The girl seems surprised. "Oh my..." She brings her hand to her mouth. "A crazy girl with ice power? Are you perhaps referring to Elisabeth Clwyd?"

You remember that crazy girl saying her name before attacking you. "Yeah, I guess that's her name. She told me that so that I can remember the name of my executioner as I descend into the deepest pit of Hell, or something like that..."

Sighing exasperatedly, the girl then moves her hand to her face, making a facepalm. "Seriously... this is the kind of mess I'd like to avoid, especially after yesterday's incident," she mutters to herself before she looks at you again and says, "Well, now that things have gotten a little out of hand, you come to the right place. While trying to hide from her is useless, at least I can help you to solve this problem. We, the Student Council, will prevent one of the students of this academy from being killed over a misunderstanding."

"Thanks..." You express your gratitude to the girl. "Umm... I'm sorry for asking, but who might you be?"

"Ah, sorry. I haven't introduced myself to you, have I?" She says. "My name is Robin Nightsong, the Student Council Secretary. Nice to meet you," she introduces herself pleasantly.

"Nice to meet you too. And I'm Hongo Kazuto, a new student," you also introduce yourself.

The girl, Robin, giggles. "I know. I've been dealing with your paperwork for the last few days."

"Oh, is that so?" You scratch the back of your head. Like Shirley, the girl looks very pretty. But she has some kind of different vibe compared to the Vice-President.

"And now that I manage to look at you up close, I have to admit, you're pretty cute," Robin says before she giggles again.

"Eh?" You are dumbfounded upon hearing Robin's comment. When you look at her again, she is savoring the embarrassed look on your face. You wonder if she is a type who likes to tease others.

Then, you remember Robin telling you that hiding from the crazy girl, Elisabeth, is useless. It feels like no matter where you go, you will eventually get caught.

"So, about hiding from her is useless, what's up with that? She has some kind of radar to sense me or something?" You ask.

"Yes, she indeed has some kind of radar to sense you..." Robin says.

"S-seriously?!"

"Indeed. Elisabeth's sensitivity to the ambient mana and people's presences is far stronger than other Magic Knights, thus giving her the ability to track you down, Keen Sense. As long as she's determined to track you down, hiding from her is impossible."

She sighs.

"And she's so stubbornly determined. No one can stop her, unless if you're Celica."

And then, you hear a shout from outside.

"SHOW YOURSELF, YOU MONGREL! YOU CANNOT HIDE FROM ME FOREVER!"

"Crap!" You swear. The girl manages to track you down thanks to her ability, and sooner or later, she will show up and continue trying to murder you.

"Speak of the devil..." Robin sighs. "Well, there's nothing we can do but wait for the inevitable..." She went over to your direction, approaching you before she pats you on your shoulder. "Don't worry. I'll make sure that no one is going to be killed today. Once everything's settled, we'll find a way to heal your arms."

"T-thanks..." You say.

Then, you hear Elisabeth shouting again. This time, her voice sounded closer. She may be already outside the room.

"I CAN SENSE YOUR PRESENCE, VILLAIN! I KNOW YOU'RE HIDING IN HERE! THE STUDENT COUNCIL ROOM?! HAVE YOU NO SHAME?!" Then, she pauses and gasps before she says, "T-this presence?! N-no way! Big Sister Robin is here?! VILLAIN, HOW DARE YOU TAKE BIG SISTER ROBIN HOSTAGE?!"

"Oh boy..." Robin facepalms. "Prepare yourself, Kazuto. We're in for another misunderstanding. It's gonna be a wild, wild ride..."

You hear someone pounding on the door from outside. "OPEN THE GODDAMN DOOR, YOU THRICE-DAMNED VERMIN! I WON'T LET YOU HURT BIG SISTER ROBIN!"

The person who wants to murder you is outside the room. Naturally, you freak out. Robin just gives you a comforting pat on your shoulder and says, "Let me handle this, Kazuto. I'll deal with her..."

Deciding to trust Robin, you nod. She seems quite reliable, after all. Also, she's a secretary, a job that requires reliability in someone.

Robin goes to the door and unlocked it. Then, she opens the door. The moment she opens the door, she is pounced by Elisabeth, who then hugs her tightly.

"...!"

"Big Sister Robin!!" Elisabeth shouts, hugging the white-haired girl tightly. "Thank goodness! You're safe! Are you alright?! Did the vile beast hurt you anywhere?!"

You just stare the blonde girl hugging the older girl, unsure what to do or say.

"Let me go, Elisa. I'm fine. If anything, the one who's hurting me is you. If I were a normal human, you might have broken some of my bones..." Robin sighs.

Then, Elisabeth lets Robin go before she shifts her attention to you. She glares at you before she points her Soul Gear right in front of your face.

"You have the gall to take Big Sister Robin as hostage..." She speaks in a low, dangerous tone. "I don't know what diabolical plan you have in that sick mind of yours when you let her unlock the door, but whatever it is, I swear that I shall do anything I can to stop you. Now, prepare yourself, villain, as I, Elisabeth Clwyd, shall end your life once and for all!"

PART II

You can't help but be irritated by the girl's inability to be reasoned with. "What's up with you?!" You shout. "Can't you just stop and listen to what others have to say?!"

"Be silent, worm! Be still so I can ki-!"

"Enough, Elisa. You're testing my patience."

Placing her hand on Elisabeth's shoulder, Robin speaks to her in low, dangerous tone. You can see tiny sparks forming on her gloved hands.

"B-big Sister?"

"Don't you think you're getting out of line? Have you lost your mind?" Robin speaks to Elisabeth sternly, standing in front of her face-to-face. "Approximately twenty of our students were killed due to the terrorist attack yesterday, and trying to kill an unarmed person is the first thing that came to your mind? After everything that happened yesterday?"

You feel slightly tingly as you continue watching both of them. Somehow, the smell of ozone lingers in the air.

"B-but, h-he's evil! He has to be one of their accomplices!" Elisabeth reasons. "Look, he even has a black Stigmata!" She points at your Stigmata on your right hand.

You roll your eyes as you glance at your Stigmata on the back of your hand and your pendant. Having dark Affinity does not mean you are evil, you wish to say that. But you decide to keep quiet for the time being as you continue watching the exchange between both of them.

"And the first thing you did was to act on your own and take the matters into your hands? You could at least inform the Student Council first to avoid misunderstandings. But instead, you acted on your own and almost murdered a fellow student who definitely has nothing to do with the attack that happened yesterday." Robin shakes her head. "I'll let you know that I'm mostly disappointed in you..."

Robin slaps Elisabeth on her cheek.

"Ngh!"

Elisabeth rubs her slapped cheek and looks down.

"Oww..."

"Oh dear... d-does that hurt? I-I'm sorry!" Robin says, suddenly panicking. She checks on Elisabeth's slightly bruised cheek. "I didn't know it hurts so much! D-did I accidentally break your teeth?!"

"I-I'm... *sniff* I'm fine..." Elisabeth responds as she brings her other hand up to wipe her tears. She starts sniffling. "...I'm sowwy..."

Robin sighs.

"Hey, come on now..." Robin says to Elisabeth who quietly weeps. "You're a big girl, right?" Then, she facepalms. "Urgh, I wonder how Celica managed to keep you under control most of the time..."

"Umm..." You look at the crying Elisabeth. She is the same girl who tried to murder you in cold blood earlier. It is jarring to see a person who wished to see you dead a few minutes earlier is now crying like a little girl. "M-Miss Nightsong, what's going on?" You ask Robin.

"Call me Robin," the Secretary of the Student Council says. "Well, you see... Elisa is actually quite a crybaby." She studies your reaction after telling that to you. "I know. It's a surprise, right? Still, what happened earlier was a misunderstanding. A stupid, completely avoidable misunderstanding, but a misunderstanding nonetheless. While Elisa is actually quite an outstanding Magic Knight despite her being ranked as a Squire, she takes her role as a Magic Knight quite zealously. She can be as stubborn as a mule if she decides to do something. And she rarely ever listens to what other people say."

"Yeah, I can see that..." You remark. You have a lot of snide comments to say, but you keep them to yourself for the time being.

"And about her calling you evil, it actually has nothing to do with your Affinity," Robin continues. She sounds like she's trying to reassure you. She probably noticed your discomfort of being called 'evil' earlier. "Dark or not, one's Affinity won't affect one's personality and traits. Like I said before, Elisa is very sensitive to the point that she can sense people's bad intents. That's another one of her natural talents as a Magic Knight, Detect Evil."

Elisabeth who has apparently stopped crying, tries to interject.

"B-but I saw! I sensed evil aura from him! My vision never failed me before!"

"If that's the case, why don't you try looking at him with your vision again? You do know that dark intents cannot be masked, right? Try looking at him again," Robin suggests.

"R-right..." Elisabeth nods before she looks at you. You can see her eyes glowing slightly. You are a little unnerved as she scans you from top to bottom.

"...!" Elisabeth gasps. "N-no way! I-it's impossible!" She looks surprised after she's done scanning you. "W-was I mistaken all along?"

"What does this mean, Robin?" You ask Robin.

"It means she sensed no bad intents from you, Kazuto. And judging from her look, she probably has realized that she almost killed an innocent person over a misunderstanding," Robin explains.

Then, she pats your shoulder and smiles happily.

"And crisis averted! No one is going to die today! Hooray for Kazuto's continued existence!" She raises her fist in celebration. "C'mon, Kazuto! Celebrate it with me!"

"H-hooray?" You say weakly as you raise your fist hesitantly.

"..."

Elisabeth fidgets. You notice that she is staring at you with a conflicted expression on her face. You somehow have a feeling that she regrets the actions she had committed earlier. After all, attempted murder is a serious matter, no matter how much you wish to downplay it. Sure, no one is killed today, much to your relief, but the fact that she tried to murder you never changes. Judging from her troubled look, she seems like she wants to apologize, but knows that an apology alone is not enough, after everything that she had done.

Well, if she's not going to do anything, it's your turn to take the initiative. You walk over to her direction to approach her. She looks alarmed, but she remains on her spot.

After taking a deep breath, you say,...

[] Write-in

---

Here's the update. I'm sorry for being late, good sirs and madams. I followed my folks to a family outing, and it took a little bit of my time. Still, here we go. Also, for the write-in, please don't be too vindictive to Elisabeth. While chastisement is alright, actively antagonizing her is a major no-no, considering that we have chosen our character's personality trait (Grateful. Despite everything, all the goods in you came from her). Which means our character is good-natured and kindhearted, but won't let himself be abused by anyone. If our personality trait is Vengeful or Spiteful ('Enraged. Those responsible will pay with their blood' and 'Upset. She shouldn't have left you alone in this world.' respectively), vindictive or spiteful remarks can be accepted.

The next part will be an Interlude that features Celica. Please look forward to it.

Also, stupid image limit... next time I'll just write short updates... *grumble grumble*

That girl either needs a reality check or a few thousand slaps to the face...possibly both.

[x] Nothing, just stare at her in disgust.
-[x] Then, right hook.
--[x] Just felt that needed to be done, you discriminatory asshole.

She so deserves this.

[X] Stare at her in disgust.
-[X] Then, right hook. Strong enough to send her to the ground.
--[X] "Now we're even." Then help her up.
---[X] "Actually, are you sure it was my dark intents you were sensing? Because right before you tried to kill me, I was trying to find something that seemed to exude an ominous presence."

Too tired here to write an official write-in, but before I collapse, a question that might be good to keep in mind:

What would big sis do?

[X] "..." *Sigh* "Right. Never had anyone try to outright kill me before, but otherwise I'm used to it, so don't worry about it too much."
-[X] "On another note, are you sure it was my dark intents you were sensing? Because right before you tried to kill me, I was trying to find something that seemed to exude an ominous presence."

Driving home that we are used to this (being treated like a villain/being blamed at the drop of a hat), because it sounds like we really are from what little backstory/feeling we've been told, while still being nice about it like our "Memories of our Sister and how we feel about it" vote swung us on the matter. Mainly trying to be good, but still sad, down, and maybe a little resigned over how he's treated by the world in general... with a touch of vengeance lingering in his heart.

I'm actually a little surprised he was just embarrassed instead of pole-axed over being complimented. Maybe I'm over-estimating just how much of a stigma being Dark Elemental is, but it seems like the only one who genuinely liked him up to this point might have been his sister... and she's his sister, so... *Shrug*

[x]You tried to kill an unarmed man.
-[x]Then, when he tried to reason with you, you completely ignored him.
--[x]Did it ever occur to you that you might be wrong?
---[x]Hell, you even used my affinity as proof. You realize that people can't control what powers they're born with, right? I can't help the fact that I can control darkness anymore then you can help the fact that you were born with blond hair.
----[x]...look, it's fine. No harm done. Just... just try to be a little more reasonable and less judgemental, alright? Maybe get both sides of the story and check your facts before you start swinging a sword at somebody because he was born differently then you were.
