I just noticed that there are more words in Lexicon of the throne namely:QM: Will you be using any homebrew Words? Or is this all base Rulebook?
I'm making a Rogue. Theft seems really appealing instead of artifice.I just noticed that there are more words in Lexicon of the throne namely:
Birds, Cities, dance ,Desert, desire, engineering, Entropy, fear, insects, intoxication, Madness, Murder, Music, Network, Protection, Theft, Underworld, Vengeance, War, Winter, Dragon, Faerie Queen, Lich king,
If anyone has a concept that could really use one of these we can talk about it.
Yup you can have itI'm making a Rogue. Theft seems really appealing instead of artifice.
Well considering what I put for my plans form...I just noticed that there are more words in Lexicon of the throne namely:
Birds, Cities, dance ,Desert, desire, engineering, Entropy, fear, insects, intoxication, Madness, Murder, Music, Network, Protection, Theft, Underworld, Vengeance, War, Winter, Dragon, Faerie Queen, Lich king,
If anyone has a concept that could really use one of these we can talk about it.
Dragon
I was originally thinking of replacing ether Command, Deception or Passion with Sky in order to have the ability of flight since I didn't think you would let us use anything from Lexicon of the Throne but because your now offering I'm going to replace Command with Dragon if no one objects in the next hour.Dragon
Mighty serpents of fang and flame have their place in many fantastic worlds, but your hero is not just any shell-damp drakeling. Your hero is a dread paragon among their kind, a fell and terrible serpent-lord who can bring terror to armies. This concept Word can be used to emulate all the classical abilities of dragons known to story and fable, whether their abilities are to easily devour masses of lesser creatures, exhibit tremendous physical power, or exert unnatural influence over the weak-willed.
The gifts are all Classic Dragon stuff , shapeshifting, hoard, bowling apart watchtowers. It's also a concept Word but you dont have to really care about that.
I hadn't read through the supplement material in ages and completely forgot about the ones in there. I found them and with some people already making stuff that could use them. Well gona allow them.I didn't think you would let us use anything from Lexicon of the Throne
You probably want at least one word as greater for a primary domain.
Just as an important note, Lich King is a potent word from Lexicon that would very much apply here. In fact, I would recommend having it replace Death, because it provides much the same functions, but with other very powerful Gifts. So I'm explaining my plan:
[X] Plan Dark Divinity of Passion and Misfortune
-[X] ..polished bone and stitched skin, animating what was dead.
-[X] Luck
-[X] Death
-[X] Night
-[X] Passionx2
-[X] Sorcery
So the idea behind this is to combine and contrast our undead form with our primary domain; Passion. We are undead and still feel, love and hate. We are undead but we're far from being the cold and unfeeling thing that is Nagash the Great Necromancer. We're passionate and unreasonable. In the face of Chaos, being unreasonnable is a boon. Don't stop fighting, even if you might lose, because you're spiteful.
Mortals are also full of feelings like anger and love. Having passion as a primary domain garentee us a following in all civilisations.
I choose first Death as a secondary domain because we're undead and no one is ruling us but ourselves. Plus it will shield our favored mortals better and fuck over the ones we dislike.
Second is the Luck domain and it's the same thing, we like you, great for you! We dislike you, sucks to be you!
Night is the third domain. Night is often a dreaded thing for mortals, because dreaded things thrive in it. With this domain, we can protect our mortals better from those who prey on them in the dark (chaos and vampires as an exemple) and strike those we hate. We can be a dread thing of the night for those we disfavor.
Fourth and last secondary domain is sorcery and for me, bring all our themes together. We're a mercurial deity, a living dead of the night. Give us our due respect and you will be blessed. Give us offense and misfortune will strike. Our priesthood will learn from us to protect our flock and curse our enemies because I like the witch vibes.
With this divinity, we can find a following everywhere, but the ones I'm particulary interested in are Norscaa and Nekaharra.
Norscaa is a harsh land with harsh People, under the yokes of mercurial and cruel gods. They hate "soft" gods but this deity fits right in with theirs! Even better, they're less cruel and nonsensical! If Ulric can be revered by some Norscaans, so can we! But instead of presenting an alternate war god, we're an alternate magic god. With our domains of Passion and Sorcery, we will steal followers from all 3 magic gods without sharing much conceptually with them. It's an easy way to fuck over the chaos gods, by presenting another option to the Norscaans to worship.
Nekaharra is the land of undead people filled with anger toward their situation. And look! We're a divinity of death and sorcery who doesn't hate them. And our Passion domain means we understand them well. We would help them against Nagash and they would worship us in return. It's a win-win. Plus even if we're a bit mercurial, Nekarrans understand such things; they even sacrificed people to their gods when they were living. We're hardly worse.
Vote for Plan Dark Divinity of Passion and Misfortune if you want a dark deity that will be as loved as they will be slightly terrifying. "All shall love and despair!"

You are no classical undead, you are a Made God. A Golem God crafted out of stolen pieces of Heaven to embody and uphold ideals and philosophies of an entire culture. What your body was crafted of does not change your nature. But you might be a god of death / undead.
These are your primary domains, without taking a word twice you wont have access to its greater gifts.
Yep.Before i forget @LotusPocus
Are you sure you want to take that exact selection of Words. You might be missing out on Greater Gifts.
Just making sure.Yep.
Plus plenty of people have already voted for my plan, I'm not changing it now.
