all too well
The end was glorious. They won't be very keen on asking for proof now.
all too well
I'm glad to hear you enjoyed it, and I will endeavor to provide more post-haste.I read through every chapter/posts you have made in one sitting, and i must say this story is Awesome!
There are so few good Bloodborne stories, So it's always fun to see some good one XD
So please give me more.
Can not wait for that tbh.Is it bad that i want him to train ruby?
Like, with the force of a thousand screaming eyes.
Heh.
= ^ DAlso, considering the way blood flies everywhere in BB, I assume that room (and the occupants) now has a crimson paint job.
As amusing that would be, that won't be necessary. No we just need Cadfan to not regenerate, and just lay there on the ground all like "well, this is awkward, would someone mind taking my body to an altar for me?"
Oh, yes. That is going to be a thing. Also, we need spoiling Grandmother Annalise for her youngest grandchildren.
Can not wait for that tbh.
Kind of hoping for the blood magic's like Maria uses in the Nightmare. Ruby spin-to-win scythe-a-thon with blood and fire.
Oh my, yess. We do need this. Also, we need spoiling Grandmother Annalise for her youngest grandchildren.
It'll be especially entertaining because Annalise isn't the best at interacting with people outside the context of Queen and subject.
What precisely Cadfan told them about Vilebloods will become more clear in the next chapter, and that should assuage your worries. That said, I'll detail the big one here: As Vilebloods don't have to subsist upon blood to survive, neither Cadfan nor Annalise will be "preying on the innocent", and this would be the first thing Cadfan assures them of.
Oh, don't be silly. Clearly, Taiyang is the descendant of an ancient clan of golden dragons.Well, could be worse.. "oh yes, I, my Queen and Summer and her ancestors are vampires, like Ruby here as well. But Taiyang and Yang here are descendants of what are essentially werewolves. Why, back in the day we vampires hunted many a werewolf and now they are family, truly times are changing."
*blink* Thats even worse!I understand where you're coming from, ChaoticSky, though I believe you're misunderstanding some things.

As for why not just claim esoteric ancient techniques? Well, that's actually what the public story is going to be about Cadfan's powers, but since Summer already knew about the whole Vileblood thing, and Ruby is a dormant "Lady of Eyes" herself, Cadfan saw no point in concealing what Annalise was from them, and thought it convenient to simply pass himself off as a Vileblood of similar power and immortality.
*blink* Thats even worse!
Theres two layers of deception here? Telling the family they are vampires (but totally not what you immediately think of when someone says vampire), and then telling everyone else that its a old art... when they could simply have told the family that it was a old art too and skip the small (but existent) chance that they let something slip and suddenly the public thinks they are vampires in need of burning? Also they are going to need one set of lies for the Roses and a separate set for everyone else, all of which are going to have to be reasonable from what they can observe about the abilities in question. And the fact that the second lie, about it being ancient techniques is actually closer to the truth, while calling them vampires is a bald faced lie. So the Roses are the ones being deceived the most... for no reason!
Thats just sloppy, Oz is supposed to be a old hand at this conspiracy stuff. You dont tell five different people five different lies to cover up the same secret. You tell one lie and you tell the same lie to everyone. Way less chance of the whole thing coming unravelled.
I like the cut of your jib, bucko!I can already imagine Annalise acting like an overprotective grandmother:
Yang: Grandma, this is my Xfriend!
Annalise: Oh... * pulls out a bloodied Chikage and ghost knights close in* Is that so? What are your intentions towards Our granddaughter? filthy cur!
Anon: *Sweating bullets. Impending sense of getting ***ed over intensifies*
Ruby: ... Oh, and nobody has seen Cardin since last week. I wonder what happened.
Yang: Good riddance, if you ask me. Bulling you and telling people you payed your way in because you're so young.
Annalise: Indeed... this boy sounds as a horrible young man. Why, in Our time, we would bring them into the training ground and beat some sense of humility into them. Failing that, we threw them to the Crow to take care of.
Ruby: Uncle Qrow?
Annalise: No, no dear. You see...
- Meanwhile -
Cardin: OHGODOHGODOHGODOHGODOHGOD!!!
BloodyCrow: *Chasing and pwning a noob*
This a reference to the Bloody Crow of Cainhurst, right?
Fuck that guy so hard.
Yep. She's a pretty princess
She'll shoot you in the face?
And more!
Well, consider canon:Wait a minute, hold the fucking phone.
Summer, and thus Ruby, are direct descendants of Queen Annalise. Who lives in her invisible castle. Surrounded by knights. With strange powers.
Does that make Ruby a god damned fairy princess?!
