I think I can solve two problems.

If you'd be willing to marry Mary (no pun intended), and adopt Amalia, you'd have a guaranteed fertile and of-age wife, while keeping your alliance with England, and not have to wait for Henrietta to grow up.

Though @Macros would have to annul the marriage on grounds of being underage or non-consummation.

Currently training Amalia as the Avatar, though honestly i'm fine with the marriage. Also the terrible person thing was more about slavery...

Well you should REALLY feel bad now.

You sold people into slavery for a minor increase to colonialization, and meanwhile the Ming are propping up native governments while fighting a war of survival.

Ah, a rosy tinted view on my ancestors being horrible people. Well, technically people in London's ancestors. Mine were busy getting potato blight in central ireland.
