[X] Plan Context is Really Fucking Important
--[X] Hey, you!
--[X] Studying [Magic]: Your first-year schoolbooks seem fairly basic, but there's a lot of information to cover, and it's always good to start with the basics. Right?
--[X] Studying [Culture]: Wizarding culture has developed in ways that diverge greatly from both modern society and the magical cultures from your own Earth. This must be investigated!
--[X] Studying [Magic]: Another trip to Flourish and Blotts will be needed for more modern books. Your grandmother may object, though.

Flourish and Blotts might fail, but if so we'll at least get some details on how awful grandma is.

Speaking of hilarious, unsurpassed Fiendfyre mastery with wandless magic synergy absolutely is, and moreso at protag's age. Like, lawl. Pity it is a dark magic.

That's going to raise more than a few eyebrows if we do keep that hair color but logically so our family had it hundred of years before.
EDIT: Including our purple eyes too.

Question: do we still have Technicolor hair in the HP verse?

Actually, your hair is naturally auburn in this world, but (due to an incident with accidental magic at a young age) you turned it to it's current color.

You liked it so much (and with the help of your knack for wandless magic), whenever someone would dispel the color, you'd just change it back to purple.

Your grandmother considers it both a harmless indulgence and a point of pride in showing off how strong your magic is.

Edit: Oh! and your eyes are naturally a fairly dark shade of blue, but you can also change those.

Wasn't she a stubborn old fossil IC?
Dowager Majere's smothering, archaic, and downright toxic methods of raising a child might have left an ordinary person a mental-wreck, even with training in occlumency.
She strikes me as the "your hair is brown and you will like it!" sort.

She strikes me as the sort to go "your hair is brown and you will like it!" sort.
*shrug* Everyone has their quirks. Cosmetic charms are nothing new for witches and wizards, and she seemed oddly pleased at the fact that you wouldn't let anyone tell you 'no' on the subject.

Of course, she was even more vicious during your usual studies for the next week, but you could tell there was an undercurrent of pride there as well.

Your grandmother has... issues.

Also, shower thought: if the hair color is artificial...

...do the curtains match the drapes?

For that matter, what about eyebrows and other body hair?

All the hair on your body; hence it looking natural.
what kind of power snake language will offer us? I mean there is no spell or anything that uses Parsel Magic, in fanfics it described as Best medical Magic used to heal illness and diseases. Is it same here or it just a fancy language?
You can talk to snakes, even magic ones. Also, people on this world will be more likely to think you're a dark witch if they know about it. :D

Say - is Fiendfyre maxed, or we can go further beyond into the bright lands of the even more fire?

While we are at that, just how much fire protag can throw at people right now?

Perhaps a magical version of napalm that can be remote detonated and/or used like a flamethrower? I mean, the biggest problem with Fiendfyre is that it takes skill to master and control, so if we can actually create a "fire and forget" version and hand it out to our friends, that would be huge.

You can improve your skills at using it, but you're already pretty impressive. Or rather: you will be once you try casting it; while you instinctively know how to, you've yet to do so.
maybe create a Holy version of it?

Theoretically, but you'd need to do a lot more research before you'd be able to do anything with the base spell.

Good luck with that. :D

If we are going there, why bother with silly derivates and alignment swaps? Grind until you achievd Balefyre.

When you are able to potentially burn down the reality, the urge to cackle needs not to be concealed.:V

-[X] Socializing [Grandmother]: You'll need to reach an understanding with her if you want to have any kind of working relationship. Might prove difficult, since you're (physically) eleven and she's set in her ways.
