Anyway I probably would have out a veto om being a Fairy if you guys had gone with Eraqus for thematic reasons but under Yen Sid a fairy protagonist is something I'd happily write.
I think you missed an "Against" or some negative modifier in their since you're saying you'd happily write a fairy for both, but it sounds like you're trying to say it would work well for one but not the other from the context?
My mistake, sorry I mean to say vetoed not voted, go the letter mixed up.
Ok I'm a bit busy today so I'm not certain if I'll be able to have the update up tomorrow, though I promise I'll at least start work on it today.
In the meantime it seems that we have a tie for appearance it would be nice if someone could break it, if not I'll just pick the one I like more when I start working.
As a final note expect your character either after the update or latter today/tomorrow if I don't feel like I've made enough progress on the former.

Plenty of fairy stuff in Disney AND FF to justify having a tiny synthesizer music doom pixie running around. Keyblade at an appropriate size, but still hits with the same amount of force as a normal human sized one.

You walk over to the mouse and extend your hand. The poor guy seems like he's in a hurry it'd be mean of you to just let him lye there on the ground when he could be running late.
"Thanks for the help." The Mouse says gratefully as you help him up. "I was really running late."
"I guess that means you hear to see the master then." You smile at him and give a short bow. "I'm Scena Salus one of his apprentices, let me escort you up to meet him."
"Oh!" The Mouse seems to come to a realization. "If your master Yen Sides apprentice than I guess tat means we'll be classmates from now on!" He extends his hand which you happily accept. "I'm Mickey Mouse it's nice to meet you!"
"Really? Hmmm….you look Mickey over. "I've never seen a mouse like you before."
"Well I've never seen a fairy before." He replies. "Soooo…should we call it even?"
"Sure." You shrug. "Let's call it even, I mean in all honestly I didn't even know my kind where even called Fairy's until recently, I was the only one around we didn't have any myths of the type so I just thought I was…unusual to say the least."
"Oh." Mickey looks to the side. "Sorry I didn't mean to bring that up."
"Don't worry I was the one who brought it up." You waving it off before taking a look at the clock. "And oh my goodness we're going to be late! Run mickey! Run before the master scolds us!"
"Wait what?" Mickey takes some time to gather his thoughts as he rushes up the stairs behind you. "Wait for me!"
Soon enough the two of you make it up to the top floor of the tower and open the door to Yen Sid's office. It's a pretty simple location all things considered well at least simple compared to what you'd expect a wizard to live in. The most complex thing in the room is his desk, and even that only has a few papers on it.
Yen Sid himself is a tern looking man in a rather…stereotypical wizard outfit, not that it's a bad thing but the man clearly knows what he is and has not shame over making the fact known. He also has a really long and very grey beard that shows that not only is he a wizard but that he's an old wizard and everyone knows that those are the most dangerous kind. He's also got crazy looking eyes, very crazy looking eyes, you'd honestly be scared of them were it not for all he's done for you…you do wonder if he should get see a doctor about those things on more than one occasion.
"Ah Scena, Mickey it is good to know that the two of you made it on time." He glances between the two of you. "And if my intuition is right that you've already been introduced to each other too."
You look at Mickey and then back to your master. "Yeah I'd say we have right Mickey."
The long winding stairs made sure of that.
"Right Scena." Mickey nods in agreement. "We're ready for whatever you have to teach us Master Yen Side!"
Mostly because we trust him not to throw us to the sharks, you have no illusion on being able to learn all the advanced stuff right away or anything like that.
"Very well." Master Yen Sid begins with a wave of his hand, which in causes a large chest to appear. "Within this chest you will find an item that will prove to be of great assistance during your training, once you have taken yours we will begin you're next steps on the path to mastering the Keyblade."

Is this one like short-range, quick-charge blinking around the battlefield or like cross-world, long-build-up teleporting?
Short range at first but eventually you can get the later.
You can also eventually learn to manipulate songs so they keep playing while your focused on other things like direct fighting, in this case it would basically give you at will teleportation.

Something that could become an At Will Blink? Sign me the hell up! Being able to freely teleport around the battlefield should be insanely useful.

a blink ability right off the gate is insanely useful, so i will go with it. also, since we are a fairy we can naturaly fly, if we get a ranged attack we can become incredibly annoying to fight, especially if we learn cure.

like, is it a basic physical attack damage boost? a general damage boost? an all stats boost? does it give a bigger buff the longer it goes on for? does the buff it gives stay only while the song is playing or until the battle ends or the enemy uses dispel? what can it become in the future?
