It was a peaceful day at a bank ran by Whimsun, the sensitive monster having managed to gain some slight courage and start this successful business.
"Awwwww... What a peaceful day. Yep, nothing could ruin this." Whimsalot, one of the employees, nodded. For an immediate contradiction, a van was sent flying into the bank and exploded, killing everyone inside.
"....Oops. Just wanted to send a message. Meh, oh well." You shrug apathetically. You, Boris, Junior and some generic thugs enter and take a few thousand dollars before leaving.

"Whoa! Cool!" Junior grinned while Boris looked nervous. Hades then closed the door and you returned home.
"Uhhhh... H-Hello. I'm Dusa. Guess we'll be working together from now on." The Shade awkwardly coughed.
"Welcome aboard, matey!" Jerry cheered. Mangle then leaned down and screeched, scaring Dusa fiercely. You sigh....

I confused on how Dusa is still working for Hades, but the God lives in a shack. Shouldn't Hades have none of his old contacts if he no longer resides in the Underworld?

Seeing as how we have not actually been inside his shack, the shack may simply be the outer shell to the entrance to the underworld. This will both explain why it's only a shack, and why Hades is a Landlord. Seeing as how he would want some means of raising funds that wouldn't cost too much time to actually acquire, and realty is an easy way to earn some passive income.
