To elaborate a bit on that the main problems with petting zoos are caused (or at the very least exacerbated) by management cutting corners and valuing zoo-goer experience over the mental and physical health of the animals and as a former Zoo Veterinarian we are the perfect person to either actually run an effective petting zoo that places dinosaurs under the least amount of stress or to notice this is unacceptably stressful towards our dinosaurs and pull the plug.
If someone was suggesting this a month before opening day I wouldn't even be considering it because we wouldn't have times to work out the kinks but just like with the raptors I think we have enough time to test things out and then make an honest assessment as to what needs to be done.
As to where we'll be getting the Petting Zoo testers seeing as Jurassic Park is still top secret. might I suggest that the children of the Natives and other Staff Members be brought in for some stress testing of the idea TempestK?
edit: Provided of course that we vote yes on the Petting Zoo in the first place.
