[][Wu Next Step]Utahraptors. Since you've already gotten the biggest predator that you're going to be reviving in play, might as well go smaller. The Utahraptors would also be the ultimate stress test of your policies for raising these animals. They were big enough to see a person as prey, and if the theories about them hunting in packs are correct, you'd be looking at something as or even more dangerous to raise than lions, let alone the wolves or hyenas that these animals have been compared to.
Sorry Wu, seeing how psicopathic the raptors made with your method turned out to be, I prefer Sorkin handling these little bastards...
We should probably just flat out buy Mantah Corp. At least one good woman ends up working there, and while their genetic research is crap they seriously excel in robotics and tech.
Really? Well if that is true we can always use their tech expertise... Whereas our hands on approach with human handlers doesn't require that much tech getting some of the more.

By the way @TempestK can you tell us something else about Mantah Corp? The only thing I know about them is that they were the bad guys on the Cretaceous Camp series...

And besides that, it seems like the passenger pigeons section doesn't appear and that we have a significant smaller number of dinosaurs to choose from (normally we have 3-4)

Dating within the company on a deserted island is honestly a great result from the kiss vote.

If Finch wants to be treated as the opposition we should probably go with the option where we have her son keep secrets from her. At least until after the big reveal.

I'd honestly rather we didn't get involved with the MA that practiced illegal human cloning? The company that hired people willing to commit murder is less of an issue if we buy them out and just restrict the employees.

Sorkin would despise being used for a political revival, we should probably save the sea cow for Wu if we vote for it.

And I'm all for my favorite dinosaur! Dilophosaurs are smaller and less troublesome to start out with than utahraptors. plus theor venom can lead to interesting developments in the lab. Plus they are cute.

Since we seem to be running low on cloning dinosaurs can I recommend Ducky and Littlefoot?

The Parasaurolophus and Apatosaurus would be nice species to have for the kids.

Also let's keep Wu away from Raptors if we can......

They fully automated their island to be run by 1 tech guy and a field doctor lady.
It was operated by little robot dog things that dispensed food and shocking sedatives, like energy orb darts. They got upgraded to bipedal murder machines basically.

The whole island was set up as artificial biomes. The doors camouflaged. Tundra, tropical, desert, etc.
Their big plan was installing mind control chips in dinos and selling the fights to rich people.

The field doctor had no idea about any of that stuff, she isolated herself and just studied behaviors until the kids showed up.

Does someone that have seen camp cretaceous have any idea of what we would get if we buy mantha corp ?,because with how spying they seem to be i'm not sure we will be able to trust their worker if we bought them and if they need to spy other then their tech is probably not so great ?

Apparently they are very bad at genetics, BUT pretty great at robotics, automation of systems, and habitat creation...

See my above thing.
The tech is great, or will be. They are spying because they want the dinosaur genetic stuff. In the show they are very high tech.
We only see like 3 employees? The owner, the tech guy, and the dino dr.

Kash D. Langford is absolutely not to be trusted. He resorts to theft, bribery, threats, and murder.

Dr. Mae Turner is a behavioral paleoneurobiologist, and she's a perfectly acceptable hire.

[X] [Finch] Show Cabot as part of his briefing on what he'll be dealing with, but task him with not telling his mother. Think of it as a way to see how loyal Cabot will be to you as his boss over his mother.
[X] [Industrial Security] Of course as a wise philosopher once said, the best way to destroy an enemy was to make them your friend. While buying out BioSyn was out of the question given their apparent ties to some government agencies (according to Margaret), Mantah Corp wasn't nearly so connected. Buying them out and folding them into the company would allow you to remove one of your threats and free up resources against the other larger predators.
[X] [Revival]Thylacine. One of the poster species of extinction, the Tasmanian government has requested your efforts to revive the species. Possibly the most complex project yet due to the subject being a marsupial. But also a much more recent extinction event than the Terror Birds.
[X] [Wu Next Step] Dilophosaurus. Smaller even than the Utahraptor while still being potentially a threat to humans, they may be able to give you a good stress test of the predator protocols without quite the amount of intellect as the raptors are projected to have. There are a few bits of their DNA structure that Wu and Sorkin aren't sure about what they may manifest as in the actual dinosaur, but the mystery makes it all the more interesting to the scientists.
---------

Best to get the marsupial issues out of the way now so that we dont have any issues later when we want to bring back older extinct Marsupials.

Arnt actual adult Dilos like 20+ feet rather than the size in the movies? Then again the movie ones can be juveniles. Maybe you can make the venom spitting a feature they lose in adulthood?

Just cheked his look and it's hilarious i have never seen someone that scream more "evil tech guy"

And how is the Owner ?

@ThunderBasilisk voting opens in 3 hours. There is a Timer.

A business man and politician that I'm fairly certain didn't get rid of the kids immediately solely because his son was with them. He had a penthouse in Jurassic World.
Thanks for the answer, let's hope we will be able to find stuff that allow us to ask the governement to arrest him,he seem the kind to cook the books a lot, with bribery and other usual stuff

QM has said that the Dilophosauruses in this quest are going to be a mix of the Movie named Historical dinosaurs-closer to the IRL fossils in size once fully grown, but with the Frills and Venom Spitting seen in the movie dinosaurs.

Buying out Mantah Corp and using their assets could be a great boon for our Jurassic Park.

The rangers could use the BRADs as an additional way of monitoring the welfare of the animals, such as recording the changes to the enclosure's environments made by either the animals or humans.

Considering how large and secure their artificial environment domes were in the show; this could mean that it would now be possible to create safe and suitable environments for the larger species of pterosaurs, such as Pteranodon and Cearadactylus.

And whilst they were far behind InGen in terms of reviving extinct animals and the majority of the animals that lived on their island were stolen from Islas Sorna & Nublar; they did manage to revive Kentrosaurus and Smilodon by their own efforts.

[ ][Revival]Stellar's Sea Cow-ovitch. Apparently word of the request that the government had made of your company had made its way to Moscow. You've received a couriered letter requesting for you to revive the Stellar's Sea Cow for the government of the USSR. While it might get some people ranting in DC, you're a long way from there and it's hardly a request to create weapons...
Lol, that's pretty funny, but unless there's some important samples we could get access to in return, it's probably not worth it.

[ ][Wu Next Step] Spinosaurus. Not as big as Rexy is projected to grow, and theorized to be a piscivore, the large sail on its back makes it stand out prominently from the T-Rex. If it's an ambush predator like crocodilians, then it shouldn't be too hard to contain, but there's always the possibility that you're wrong. But it'll still be good to have at least one other big predator for the park as an attraction; they're usually one of the "must see" animals at normal zoos.

Interesting... I am assuming @TempestK that Spinosaurus going to be like IRL a mostly aquathic therapod, not the bad guy of Jurassic park 3, no?

That is fucking terrifying...

If they are keeping the venom, I would rather keep them tiny...

And of course it was a test. I hate being right when the tide of the vote swings the other way so overwhelmingly for... reasons. dunno why people were so keen on just taking her first offer (been a while since last vote, so I can't recall), but eh, what's done is done.

I know the vote is not open yet but I have to go and in all likelihood would miss the vote entirely
Hope that it is not too big of a problem?

Well, taking into account Siberia, we could get a lot of samples of Ice Age creatures...
Henry let out a sigh of relief as the press continued to focus on the preening politicians while others took shots of the flock as it wheeled and whorled; getting used to their new surroundings. "The only good thing about this whole project was the practice we got in ensuring genetic diversity in the animals." You gave him a conciliatory nod.

"I know Henry, I apologize I wasn't expecting this project to be quite as onerous as it turned out." Henry turned to look at you with what you can only call a hungry expression.

"Please tell me that my options for my next projects are more interesting." You do your best to hide a chuckle, recognizing that the scientist is completely serious.
Well I think we should give Wu the Tasmanian Tiger next turn...

[ ][Revival] Irish Elk. As one of the largest deer that ever lived, the government of Great Britain is attempting to get some good will with Northern Ireland by reviving one of Ireland's most iconic extinct animals.
I would rather avoid Ice Age animals until we prepare the Pleistozene Park...

Hm...Spinosaurus will honestly be something of a mystery box-it could end up as anything from the JP3 creature to one of the amphibious versions modern paleontologists have been bouncing around. And whatever it ends up being, it'll be longer than Rexy once fully grown.

If/when we do make a Spino, I am hearby petitioning that we call it Sobek.

However, I'm leaning more towards the Utahraptors, both because I want my favorite Dinos, and because IMO it'd be best to give our caretakers and rangers as much time to work with the Polar Bear Sized Pack Hunters as possible.
