I actually just started reading the manga. Dio is the most hilarious antagonist I've ever seen. He literally kicks the dog.

I think you mean greatest antagonist. I understand that the morally grey villains with understandable motivations have their place, but goddammit sometimes you just need a bad guy who is balls to the wall unabashedly evil, and Dio's the fucking way to do it.

Still following the anime myself, and have read all of Stardust Crusaders. Let me tell you, I cannot wait for D'arby and Steely Dan.

I really hope they include all of the D'Arby battle. Maybe seeing some not!F-Zero will galvanize Nintendo into making a new one :p

I'm a fan of the anime though I doubt I will pick up the manga anytime soon. Still sad about the ripple though.:(
Aaah, you're missing out, mate. While parts 4-6 will probably be animated soon enough, it'll be quite a while until Part 7 is shown, and it is quite honestly objectively the best part.

You owe it to yourself to read Steel Ball Run, especially since it happens in a fresh continuity due to events at the end of Part 6 kind of...making it extremely hard to continue the story from that point. So basically you're missing out on nothing by skipping straight to it.

...Oh, there's a spoiler about the end of Part 3 at the end of Steel Ball Run, but if you already know what Za Warudo does you're fine.

This show is AWESOME! my friend has been showing it to me and I love it. I hope Dio dies slowly and painful the fucking asshole.

Dio in a nutshell: I am awesome and you plebeians will BOW BEFORE ME.

I did mention he is Greatest Villain, yes? :p

Dio getting exposed was fantastic. Dio keeps going "Oh yeah I can work my way out of this"...then NOPE! Daddy's been listening the whole time.

So many tongueless people, Jesus Christ.

As a side note, I find it hilarious that Jesus AKA Joshua, son of Joseph, is a JoJo.

And that was the start of the venerated Joestar bloodline.

And I'm sad that it took me until a few weeks ago to finally watch/read this series. I love Battle Tendency, and started reading through Stardust Crusaders only after the anime started.

This is a thing that I deeply regret.

Wait....
What if...'Jouske' from part 8 is a fusion of part 8 Kira and either Johnny/Jonnathan or the Saint/Jesus....
My God...
