The best derail we can achieve is Anakin and Padme living together as a happy family. And happy Anakin is less likely to go Vader on our arses. It's simple self preservation instinct.

So what I'm hearing is that all of Palpatine's plans are going haywire because his former master wanted to have a criminal organization under his thumb just in case and now that he's dead said organization is using all of the shiny benefits he gave them without any of the intended oversight and they're (un)intentionally wreaking havoc. All because Palps couldn't resist being an asshole in true Sith fashion.

I fucking love this quest.
Praise Darth Plagueis the Wise!
You just happened to have a few more hours before your flight to Dantooine would even arrive and you didn't even have breakfast yet, so you had the idea to drag Padme along to one of the less glamorous diner of CoCo town just to watch her reaction. What you did not expect though that barely a few minutes after you entered, sat down and ordered breakfast for yourself and Padme that two certain Jedi would enter... namely Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker. The very same ones that were involved in the whole Naboo crisis from beginning to end. To say that the various reactions were priceless would be an understatement. First Padme noticed them and looked downright shocked, then the Jedi noticed Padme and reacted pretty much the same although you are pretty sure that you noticed that the young Padawan also got slightly red in the face... and then they noticed you which shocked them even more, which is absolutely no surprise considering the problems you caused the Jedi Order
This is the Force moving in mysterious ways. Gotta be.

We might want to be a bit more carefull about trolling Palpy. He might decide that we are to much trouble to remain alive.

We could probably gain some extra favor with the Trade Federation due to this as well. Sure, they are under fire for enabling talks between the Republic and the Huk, but we can probably help them spin it in such a way that makes them look like they were expecting the benevolent Republic to put an end to the madness. But then the Republic betrayed their trust by messing it all up, along with the Jedi.
Nope nope nope, we are not getting involved with this. The Jedi are likely taking a keen interest, once is an accident, twice a coincidence, three times enemy action.

This is now twice the Trade Feds have been caught doing nasty shit. We start interfering, we risk being picked up.

It might be better if our protagonist plays each side more anonymously if any discoveries of this scale or close to it come again.

Someone is eventually going to figure out what she is doing if she keeps it up. Whistle blowing can only work so far in maintaining relationships for several parties without it becoming more detrimental and health hazardous.

So, how upset do you think the Trade Federation is with us at the moment?

We kinda just offered them a hand up for the last few years, only to suddenly push them back down because we saw something shiny.

Do they know that we were behind the reveal?

Judging from these two part's it look's like we exposed it.

Meanwhile you yourself are enjoying a even more glorious reputation as hero and supporter of those in need, although right now you don't care as much.

Reward: Republic Diplomatic status +1, Eternal Gratitude of the Kalee and Grievous, Ciaran is considered a hero by the Republic population, +2 on intrigue for Ciaran and Silas

Just finished reading through this glorious quest so far and props to the GM because its amazing. Anyways is it wrong that after reading the interlude i am now heavily shipping Padme and Ciaran?

The Jedi were forced to issue a public apology about their involvement, Jedi Masters T'chooka D'oon and Jmmaar have abruptly become some of the most hated men in the Republic and you are pretty sure that their High Council has probably been debating for days by now, trying to figure out what went wrong. The situation in the Senate meanwhile is just as bad. Chancelor Palpatine has been cracking down hard on everyone involved in the Huk-War causing a lot of senators and bureaucrats to either lose their jobs or in addition also being in danger of ending up in jail, Kalee has gotten all sanctions and other measures lifted nearly instantly and instead a lot of them have been transfered onto the Huk instead and the Jedi have been called upon or rather downright ordered to send out as many men as possible to find the Kaleesh that were enslaved by the Huk. As if that were not enough the Trade Federation has falled under scrutiny again since they enabled the talks between the Huk and the Republic in the first place.
"Royally fucked up, the situation is.":D
