Tyrannops
Today, we're canceling the Apocalypse!
What are you playing as?You'd be in Wave 3. I look forward to spying on your arrival from orbit.

Kerbals.
Darn. I was thinking of playing as them.
Ooh, new British Isles would be very weird to interact with from my Perspective, wonder if I'll get to see that happen.Darn. I was thinking of playing as them.
Well I'm going as either Dinotopia or the Empire of the New British Isles from Destroyermen
Honestly I want to see the other factions reactions to my mile long aircraft carriers. Because yes, I have those.Ooh, new British Isles would be very weird to interact with from my Perspective, wonder if I'll get to see that happen.
I'd land spaceplanes on them.Honestly I want to see the other factions reactions to my mile long aircraft carriers. Because yes, I have those.
You'd burn them up, they are made of wood, I believe.
My spaceplanes have airbreathing modes, they aren't pure rocket designs. Plus, they're nuclear thermoelectric, not chemfuel engines.
Would they have room to stop? If I use the GA/ENB they use seaplanes, so they take off from the carrier. They land in the water and a crane puts them back on.My spaceplanes have airbreathing modes, they aren't pure rocket designs. Plus, they're nuclear thermoelectric, not chemfuel engines.
VTOL capable.Would they have room to stop? If I use the GA/ENB they use seaplanes, so they take off from the carrier. They land in the water and a crane puts them back on.
My bad then. Should be interesting.
I mean, if you can get your ships in gunnery range of my boats you'll probably be able to sink them. That aerospace supremacy though.OOf, we got some real technological powerhouses coming in this turn. Wonder what this world has in stock to return fire with.
I mean maybe my Specials can duel with your normal and elites (probably not, cruise missiles are hugely lethal) but one of your specials can take all of mine out from space. Something pretty horrible is going to have to be thrown at you to match that sort of advantage.I mean, if you can get your ships in gunnery range of my boats you'll probably be able to sink them. I would like to remind you that the High-Penetration Orbital Probe Deployer is a research tool. It is designed for geological studies, rather than bombardment. As such it cannot reliably hit mobile targets.I mean maybe my Specials can duel with your normal and elites (probably not, cruise missiles are hugely lethal) but one of your specials can take all of mine out from space. If I do go with the GA, they are relatively friendly. But if you become their enemies.. well it won't be pretty.OOf, we got some real technological powerhouses coming in this turn. Wonder what this world has in stock to return fire with.
Yes, and they are armed with cruise missiles. 24 cruise missiles is a colossal threat to both my navy and my entire nation and that's 2 frigates worth. Not to mention these ships are from a time before auto-cannons were even invented. They are still capable of doing huge damage.I would like to remind you that the High-Penetration Orbital Probe Deployer is a research tool. Also, most of my boats literally just have an autocannon and some depth charges. I literally only have, like, eight naval units with more substantial armament. Two of which are submarines admittedly, but still.
Hmmm... Valid point I suppose. Honestly, I feel like the scariest things in my arsenal are combat rover spam and my relatively few armed spaceplanes. I'm actually not sure what you could bring to bear that would realistically be able to defeat a battalion of rifle-proof autonomous ground vehicles all packing heavy machine guns and ATGMs. And the armed spaceplanes I've got are quite frankly some of the scariest machines in the sky out of all factions. Seriously, only Skynet comes close in terms of sheer airborne lethality.Yes, and they are armed with cruise missiles. 24 cruise missiles is a colossal threat to both my navy and my entire nation and that's 2 frigates worth. I don't know why you're taking this side in the argument, these hundred odd years of rapid technological developments would obviously make a huge military difference. It's the equivalent of comparing a sopwith camel and a modern jet fighter only with 10 or twenty extra years of gap in each direction.
I would have thought that was the space krakens?
Those aren't part of my arsenal. They're a navigational hazard.
I thought that's what you used for FTL..Those aren't part of my arsenal. They're a navigational hazard.
Only as a result of my Deadman Switch.
K-DEC: "Slaving pricks. Just glad they don't have even the slightest knowledge of spacefaring required to drop massive rocks on Kerbin from orbit. Honestly we're more worried about the Brits, since they could actually do that if they ever got to our portal."Ha Ha Ha Ha jokes on you plebs my roman strength will obviously carry the day, so just surrender and we will treat you well.
BTW I kinda want to see how the British react to actual Romans, well any of the other factions too as well obviously
