Irises x Dragons (FI) (High School DxD)

I'm a tiiiiiiiiiiiny bit worried about the morality of it. Turning people into unmoving dolls wherein they have no method of escape...honestly, death might end up seeming better if someone stays like that too long. Then we add in the fact that the dolls are small, and how they might be damaged to lost in the chaos of combat...
Well, it's not like they're at risk of going insane because as seen when I tested out the final version, there going to basically fall asleep. As for the thing about getting damaged or lost... I'll have to whip up something to deal with that.
If it's a choice between fatality injuring or killing them a person or dollifying them it's better to dollifying them.
^ This. Course, anyone dumb enough to go after Lucifel or otherwise piss me off.... are likely to not get dolled.

Night had come to Kuoh. The darkness was an old friend to the supernatural. One that was trusted, respected, and never to be feared. It wasn't the darkness that should be feared but the monsters who lurked within. To that end Devils and Fallen were apex predators in the realm of night. Exorcists trained their entire lives to fight predators in their element. Wielding the Light of their Soul to devastating effect to drive back wickedness. Rarely have Devils and Exorcists worked together towards a common goal given their differing focus.

Tonight was an exception. Powerful artifacts entrusted to the Church were stolen. The one responsible was a Fallen Angel General named Kokabiel. A terrible foe with great power who had said before that the world should burn. All he cared about was to reignite the war and to Hell with the consequences. Now a team of Devils, Exorcists, and a newly born goddess were on the trail.

Said trail lead them to a warehouse on the outskirts of the city. Kiba, Irina, and Koneko did some preliminary scouting. The interior was mostly unlit save for a few lights spaced out across the floor. Devils possessed excellent low light vision, with Koneko's being even more superior. To her and Kiba the scattered lights might as well have been as effective as daylight. Lethargic men in the white robes of Exorcists could be seen. Some were more alert than others, but it was obvious the enforced sentry duty was taking a toll.

Irina's search along the outside of the building proved fruitful. Standing just outside of the rear door was a figure in white with white hair. He was surprisingly short but that didn't detract from the lethal air he exuded. Excalibur Mimic warned her of the presence of the other Excaliburs. She checked the ground to ensure that no stupid cliche would trip her up. Slowly, cautiously, Irina backed away before making her way back to where the others were hidden.

Issei and Xenovia were 'power idiots.' Neither one was very good at stealth. Need something demolished? Talk to them. They understood their limitations. Asia had little training in direct combat but plenty of magical knowledge. As Issei said she was a DPS Healbot. It suddenly occurred to her that she didn't actually know what Green Sister could even do. Her HDD form acted as an enhancer to Twilight Healing to allow the recovery of all allies. That was about all she knew. For a stealth mission her ability to heal others was invaluable.

"We might have a problem," Irina stated without preamble as she arrived. She hunkered down behind the large shipping container the others were using.

"Let's wait for Kiba and Koneko," Issei said quietly.

The remaining scouts returned soon after.

"Okay, Irina has bad news. What about you?" Issei asked.

"Good news actually. The Fallen Exorcists are exhausted," Kiba reported.

"There is a sleeping area with almost fifteen asleep," Koneko said.

Irina grimaced as she prepared to make her report.

"Father Freed Sellzen is in possession of the Excaliburs," Irina said. Xenovia said a very rude word. Her partner didn't even look surprised.

"How bad is it?" Issei asked. Asia looked just as bewildered.

Kiba apparently knew of Freed, as did Koneko, and neither looked thrilled.

"His skill with a sword is said to like Vasco Strada in his youth. That means he's extremely good with a sword, Issei," Xenovia clarified when his look of confusion didn't leave.

"Think he's still outside?" Issei asked.

"I wouldn't be surprised if he was the perimeter watch," Irina said.

"What's the issue then? I Promote to Queen, Boost, and then we ambush him," Issei suggested.

"What do we do then?" Kiba asked. The idea seemed good on the surface but what was the exit strategy?

"Honestly? Spread our wings and fly like Hell," Issei said.

"Wait. That's your plan?" Xenovia did a quick head count. Kiba, Koneko, and Issei were Devils so they could fly.

"Three fliers and three grounded. It works," Irina shrugged.

"I can fly as Green Sister," Asia said. Her eyes narrowed briefly. "To be honest I can probably cover the rear better in the air. Since some of you will have your hands full."

"I'll carry Irina, Kiba can carry Xenovia...if that's okay," Issei realized he was making decisions for them.

"That's fine. Irina and I have light pistols just in case," Xenovia said.

"I can fight in the air," Koneko clenched her fist.

They had a plan for dealing with Freed and for retreat. Even a worst case scenario plan in case the enemy somehow had fliers. It was a good plan, but as a wise man once said "No plan survives first contact with the enemy."

Truer words were never spoken before a battle.

Issei did his part of the plan perfectly. Promote to Queen, Boost for a solid minute, and move into position. Confirming that Freed was still standing at the back door. The Father was apparently having fun peeing against the wall. No one ever accused Freed of being sane. Irina crept up on the other side using a trio of steel drums to conceal herself. She turned Mimic into a wakizashi with a dull gray edge. Xenovia knelt beside her with a hand on Destruction. Her partner and Issei would lead off the attack. She would come in just after to provide heavy support. Koneko and Kiba had their wings out in the air. The new moon concealing their presence. Asia remained hidden on the roof. She wasn't to be part of the assault just the rearguard action.

Issei blurred forward and max speed with Boosted Gear leading, ready to paste Freed. Irina swept outward to cage the good Father in just in case he evaded. It was as Issei's fist passed through the image of Freed that everything went to Hell.

"Shitty Devils and shittier Exorcists...Man. I can't believe you thought I would be caught like that..." Freed's voice came from all around.

"Where is he?" Irina asked. The wakizashi sprung to a full sized katana now that their cover was blown.

"Maybe right here?" Freed appeared in front of Irina, ready to run her through with the sword in his hand. Issei's explosive speed launched the Devil at the Father's back. He was forced to leap upwards as it was an image again. Irina stepped back in surprise only to let out a cry of pain. Blood sprayed as a blade slashed across her back. Issei cried out in pain a moment later as two strokes appeared on his chest.

Of Freed there was no sign.

"Issei!" Asia cried as the Pawn and Exorcist collapsed to the ground helplessly.

"Wait Asia!" Koneko called out as the former nun went HDD.

"I can heal them," The goddess activated her spinning rings. Irina and Issei weren't getting any better. She frowned in worry as the pool of blood increased. Their blood merging together into a single puddle. Tears stood out in her eyes as her power failed.

"Damn it! Here I go!" Kiba brought out two Holy Erasers as he swooped down to cover the fallen.

"Freed! Where are you!" Xenovia sprinted to stand back to back with Kiba. Their swords ready to ward off attack.

"Maybe I'm right here?" Freed appeared between them. The mad swordsman slashed left and right. Exorcist and Devil collapsed like puppets with their strings cut. Their eyes completely devoid of life as his swords slit their throats.

"KIBA! NO!" Koneko screamed in anguish. The Rook let out a cry of fury and pain as she barreled to the ground. Freed smirked before vanishing in a burst of super speed. The white haired girl missed him completely.

"Oh no...Please don't..." Green Sister's heart was shattering. She possessed great healing power and it was failing. It was failing the people she loved. The people who were counting on her. When Koneko's arm was sliced off in a single stroke her despair grew.

"S-stop..." Issei's weak voice pleaded. He grabbed Freed's ankle but it wasn't enough. The mad swordsman buried both blades in Koneko's chest.

"Please stop..." Green Sister sobbed as her power just simply wouldn't come.

"Feh...still clinging to life? Die fucker," Freed rammed the blade into Issei's skull and twisted. The painful cracking sound resonated with her own breaking heart.

The sight of her dead companions barely registered. Her eyes locked onto the grinning figure of Freed with terrible intensity. He dared to ignore her. He dared to slay her lover and those in her care. She was impotent to save them from his hand. A burning rage swelled within her breast. The rings around her wrists and ankles levitated off before quadrupling in size.

"You will learn to fear me! Prepare to die at my hand!" Green Sister declared with terrible resolve.

"Come on down and give it a try!" Freed taunted. He was still laughing as her rings narrowly missed him. The telekinetically thrown rings sweeping out across the battlefield. Each one missing him by narrow margins but he just wouldn't stop smirking.

"Are you so afraid that you won't come up here to face me?" Green Sister asked.

"Tch! Like I'm afraid of a damn stripper in a bathing suit!" Freed taunted as he dodged another ring.

Green Sister merely smiled unsettlingly. The rings continued their fruitless assault but she was still smiling. A faint crack appeared in Freed's mask. The floating goddess folded her arms and sat in midair with crossed legs. A perfect Iris Heart pose.

"Are you done scurrying around, mongrel?" Green Sister asked.

"Fuck you ya cocksuckin' tramp! I'll skullfuck you til you die!" Freed shouted back in sudden anger. The floating goddess sighed.

"Such trash...Unfortunately I grow tired of your posturing..." Green Sister snapped her fingers. The rings returned drawing a confused look from Freed. He stared at her for several moments while trying to process just what was going on. The goddess tauntingly pointed at where he was standing. As he glanced down a massive casting circle appeared beneath his feet. It was easily two hundred feet in diameter and glowing with green/white light.

"Uh...fuck?" Freed swallowed heavily. He tried to run except his feet were suddenly stuck to the ground.

"Oh Grace of the Divine Light bring forth the Winds of Change. Blow through with your Might Judgment!" Green Sister aimed both palms outward. Freed struggled mightily to escape the trap even as the wind began to blow. The four rings appeared at equidistant points aiming inward of the circle. All four circles started to pour forth with tornado force spirals. Each spiral somehow missed one another as they wrapped around the circle. The Fallen Exorcist tried to strike back with his stolen Excaliburs but the onrush of tearing wind was too great. Freed Sellzen died in tearing agony as his body was shredded by high intensity winds.

He would not be missed.

With his death the Excaliburs flew off in all directions. She caught them with her rings telekinetically. The first was Rapidly which was how Freed could evade even the fastest of their number. The second was Transparency. Freed made fine use of it's ability to allow the holder to turn invisible. The last was Nightmare. The Fallen Exorcist used the power of illusion to create false images of himself, but also…

...faked her friends' deaths.

Green Sister smiled genuinely as her friends reappeared, safe and unhurt. Her rings were, in fact, healing them. Possibly faster than Freed could injure them. He had to distract her so that she couldn't keep them healthy. Unfortunately for him he didn't know one of her gifts in this form. All within the radius of her rings was open to her. Once her rings passed close enough to her friends she knew where they were.

Issei looked up at Green Sister flying overhead. The Pawn smiled and gave her a thumbs up. Kiba grinned. He got to see the three Excaliburs defeated thoroughly even if they weren't destroyed. Koneko gave a short nod of approval. Irina waved excitedly.

"We have the swords. Let's go!" Xenovia reminded them they were on a time limit.

"Right. I will cover the rear," Green Sister promised. Xenovia sheathed Destruction while Irina turned Mimic into a hairclip. The Exorcists took custody of the Excaliburs.

In moments the investigation team were in the air over Kuoh, flying to the ORC. Green Sister found out that Freed was using Nightmare on them as well. While he projected an image of murdering her friends to the goddess, he was overlaying his appearance on the fighters. Each one thought they were fighting Freed and instead fighting themselves.

"Green Sister! Behind you!" Koneko called.

The goddess spun around, all four rings spiraling out, and deflected a hail of Light Spears. Green Sister winced as more of her energy dipped. The absolute love and trust she was receiving from Issei, Kiba, Koneko, and even Irina and Xenovia, were filling her. She tapped the greater well of belief from Plutia and Lucifel in the face of the new foe.

"One of the new 'divines' who revealed themselves to the unworthy. Feh. When I heard God was reborn here I had hoped to meet them. Instead all I get is this clipped winged thing," the Fallen General Kokabiel sneered. He was unutterably handsome with long dark hair and pointed ears. Twelve wings spread out behind him denoting his rank.

"God reborn…?" Irina asked.
"What does he mean…?" Xenovia looked lost.

"Get them out of here! I can hold him off!" Green Sister shouted. She realized too late that he was projecting his voice to the Exorcists. The former nun had time to get used to the fact God was dead and was now Lucifel. Issei and Kiba found their arms full of unresponsive girls, not Exorcists. The despair they felt was palpable. To be reborn implied that God died. Why hadn't God revealed themselves to the faithful? She could read their despair clearly.

"No matter how far you run I will destroy Kuoh until 'God' comes out personally. I want to see the light leave their eyes personally," Kokabiel leered.

"Yeah and piss of the sisters of two Satans," Kiba yelled back. Kokabiel laughed mockingly.

"Piss them off? I intend to piss on them from a great height!" He called back.

"Koneko? Please take Irina and go..." Issei growled. The Fallen General waved him onward.

"Take whatever time you need. I can wait. Give me a good show," Kokabiel casually violated the Overlord's List.

"Issei…?" Irina looked so lost as he handed her off to the Rook. Issei smiled.

"I met God and She's awesome. Don't let this guy tell you otherwise," he said reassuringly.

Irina smiled gently at the conviction in his words. Xenovia smiled as well. The Rook and Knight quickly made tracks as Goddess and Dragon prepared to buy them time.

"Ready to fight?" Green Sister asked.

"Yeah I am...This turkey bastard won't know what hit him!" Issei held up the Boosted Gear dramatically.

[Shine Overboost!]

Much like HDD a brilliant light shone outward from Issei. As the light passed it revealed a greatly changed fighter. He was covered from head to toe in brilliant red armor with green gems. His eyes blazed with emerald light as a pair of red dragon wings burst from his back. He folded his arms with total self assurance as if Kokabiel's defeat was guaranteed. At his side Green Sister lounged indolently in the sky with a smirk.

"Perhaps this might be a decent fight after all," Kokabiel grinned in a bloodthirsty manner. He manifested dozens of light spears in the air. With a simple gesture each one rocketed forward as if shot from a gun. Every shot failed as it rebounded off of Green Sister's barrier. The Fallen's smile dropped with irritation.

"Dragon Shot!" Issei held a blazing star of power in his palm. He thrust his hand forward and fired off the deceptively small orb. All at once the orb grew to enormous size, eclipsing Issei himself, as it rocketed towards the Fallen.

"Feh!" Kokabiel made to dodge only to suddenly jerk short. He had a moment to realize that his wrists and ankles were trapped by golden rings. The Boosted Dragon Shot smashed into him with the force of a comet. Smoke obscured the impact point.

"Phew...That was draining..." Green Sister wiped her streaming forehead. To hold Kokabiel for even a moment drained her reserves rapidly.

"Stay on guard," Issei warned.

"Die…!" Kokabiel fired off a spear twice as long as he was tall on a direct course of Green Sister. The Candidate watched the oncoming death tiredly. She wasn't able to dodge.

She didn't need to.

"No...YOU!" Issei appeared in the path of the oncoming spear.

[EXPLOSION!]

Issei poured every last ounce of power into a final Dragon Shot. The spear was disintegrated instantly from just coming into contact with the sphere of energy. He drew her hands back to his waist, cupped together. With a cry of rage Issei executed a textbook perfect Kamehameha. Kokabiel would never know that he was killed by anime.

"Noooo…!" Kokabiel let out a long, drawn out, and cliched cry as the blast engulfed him. The Fallen was obscured for several seconds as the punishing wave wore down his defenses. As the light died down it revealed just what had become of the Fallen. His hair was shorn and scalp scorched. Burns covered his face and his left arm was disintegrated entirely. Most of his wings were gone from the powerful heat generated by the plasma.

The defeated General groaned once before succumbing to his injuries and pitching out of the sky. Issei and Green Sister watched him fall but made no move to help. A figure in blue/white armor, similar to Issei's, swooped in and caught the stricken Fallen. He flew up to their level for a moment, nodded with respect, before streaking off into the sky.

"Can we go home now? I can't process this," Green Sister whined tiredly.
"Let's go. Change back and I'll carry you," Issei reverted from his armored state. He briefly dipped in midair before steadying himself. Asia happily took him up on the offer.

He might have been listing in the air, but he never once dropped her.

AN: Get ready for the fallout…!

Holy shit that was close. If issei or Asia had died.. I would have OBLITERATED THOSE DAMN WORTHLESS BASTARDS OF MUTTS AND PUT THEM IN THEIR PROPER PLACE OF NON EXISTANCE!

Also. If that fucker is still alive I'm dolling him and making him suffer. No one threatens Lucifel.

Also. If that fucker is still alive I'm dolling him and making him suffer. No one threatens Lucifel.
I'm not actually sure which would be worse. You or Lucifel permanently dealing with Kokabiel. You would make the idiot suffer to the extent that mythological hell would sound like a temperate vacation. Lucifel, on the other hand, could completely strip him of all access to the system, and effectively take away of all his power. Rendering him completely impotent. Both are very much worse things than death for him.

Why not both? Hell I'll make it a family bonding thing by letting Kala help me design his agony.

Deep breaths.

I am kinda overprotective when it comes to the people I care about.

HO-LEE SHIT that's going to make for one hell of a statement of Rias's power. In canon it took the Hakuryutei showing up to save their ass here where nothing but her pawn and one of her allies dropping him? If at least one of either Rias or Issei don't at least get a shot at promotion i would be VERY surprised

Aftermath

Three a.m.

The investigative team was out there on the dark streets of Kuoh searching for Holy relics. Exorcists, Devils, and a new goddess were on a quest for the Excaliburs. The fabled Holy sword that was sundered and then reforged into new blades. None of that was as important as the fact Issei, Asia, Kiba, and Koneko were out there with the Church ladies.

The first indication that something went wrong was Lucifel practically running into Plutia's room. She didn't even slow down before diving under her mother's covers and curling up beside her. The young Fallen shivered as if cold, her eyes full of worry as her black wings trembled.

Plutia yawned, her eyes fluttering open before she hugged her daughter. "What's wrong baby?" The goddess's magenta eyes and sleepy voice were filled with maternal worry.

"Green Sister is scared...and sad...and very angry...I can't untangle her feelings," Lucifel whispered in the stillness. Lucifel's red eyes looked like they were going to burst into tears.

Plutia ruffled her daughter's hair, and gently twirled the purple streak. "Do you think she's going to need back up?" Plutia asked, as she casted her sense out to see how Asia and Issei where doing via her connection to them from her shares.

She felt a surge of triumph and relief from her connection to Asia. There was a hint of sadism as she took great pleasure in whatever just happened. Lucifel relaxed beside her mother. The goddess smiled and hugged her daughter. "They're fine. Though… it seems like I may have rubbed off on her if that hint of sadism was anything… Are you going to be okay baby?"

"Yeah, I'm just tired. I keep waiting for something to go wrong…" Lucifel trailed off worryingly. The smaller girl almost jumped right out of bed as their connection to Asia blared PANIC. She forced herself to remain still even it looked physically painful to her.

Plutia for her part remained calm, as she got up and hugged Lucifel as tight as she could without hurting her, the goddess's face one of worry, the motions of deep breaths meant to keep her calm causing her purple pony tail to swing. "It'll be okay Lucifel. It'll be okay." Plutia was keeping a eye on the connection, and was ready to transform in a instant.

"Kokabiel appeared...Green Sister and Issei are holding him off...Wow she's strong...He's strong…" Lucifel's contact with Plutia allowed the older goddess to 'see' what her daughter was seeing.

Plutia was glad they were okay.. "It must be because of Kala's training. She's really good at it." The goddess kept hugging her daughter, tempted to transform into Iris Heart to hug her better.

Lucifel nuzzled her mother's shoulder contentedly. Now that the worst was over she allowed herself to relax. "I wonder where Kala-mama is...I know she felt this too…"

There came a light knock at the door. Kalawarner stepped inside wearing a sleeping yukata, that she had to take heroic measures to close at the top. She sat down on the bed to hold Lucifel from the other side.

"Uranus called to tell me her request for backup was approved," Kalawarner said. Lucifel snorted.

"A little late, Kala-mama. Issei and Asia kicked Kokabiel's a-...ahem 'butt,'" she just stopped herself from swearing.

Plutia simply sighed. "Lucifel you are too cute to swear. Please don't." The goddess yawned, her cute face taking on a worried look. "..Lucifel.. Do you think you'll be able to sleep alone tonight?" The goddess looked to Kala, a small blush crawling up her face as she looked at the blue haired bombshell. "And Kala, how's the wards going?"

"I can sleep alone tonight. Now that Kokabiel's out of the city," Lucifel hugged her mothers.

"The wards are complete. If Kokabiel had come here we could have easily kept him out," Kalawarner said.

"Good night," Lucifel kissed them both on their cheeks before getting up to leave.

Plutia nodded before looking to Lucifel. "You can sleep in my bed if you want… this night's been stressful and you haven't gone to bed yet… I'd probably feel better if you were close as well… Kokabiel's threats… they worried me.."

"Are you sure?" Lucifel smiled impishly while not-so-subtly looking between Plutia and Kalawarner. The older Fallen rolled her eyes.

"How can you be so sure that Kokabiel was defeated?" Kalawarner asked.

"Issei smacked him with a Kamehameha," Lucifel grinned.

"And…?" The older Fallen gestured for her to continue.

"The White Dragon Emperor had to fly in and save him," the littlest giggled.

"And by doing so is on my 'dislike' list… But yeah, I have no problem with you sleeping in my bed. Being close would probably help with both of our nerves." Plutia smiled, as Kala merely rolled her eyes playfully.

"The White Dragon Emperor, as our daughter put it, is like Azazel's adopted son. Vali Lucifer was only ensuring that Kokabiel didn't escape I imagine," Kalawarner said. Plutia nodded before sighing. What was with Azazel's kids and her getting off to a wrong start with them?

"Too much talking, not enough sleeping," Lucifel yawned hugely before curling up under the covers.

Plutia nodded, before retreating back under the covers, next to Lucifel. "I agree…." Plutia yawned, before her eyes settled on Lucifel. "...Wonder if I should use my new spell… could help Lucifel sleep…" The tired goddess muttered to herself.

"Mmm...just wanna sleep…" Lucifel murmured.

Kalawarner watched the two curled up together with a fond smile. She checked to make sure the two were tucked in before leaving the room. The Fallen stood at the door for a long moment before shutting it softly behind her. Plutia gently pulled Lucifel to her, hugging her daughter as her eyes felt so heavy. It didn't take long for the two of them to fall asleep. Plutia wouldn't let go until she woke up either.

The next morning Kalawarner was up early to make breakfast. At the table was Uranus with a phone up to her ear. She was chatting away to the person on the other end.

"Who is that?" Kalawarner asked.

"Oh just my brother, Vali. He was actually impressed with his 'rival's' performance," Uranus rolled her eyes.

"Tell Vali I said 'hi' and thanks for being there! Even if he didn't do anything," Lucifel smirked while skipping into the kitchen.

"God says 'hi,'" Uranus said to the phone before laughing hysterically.

Plutia chuckled as she walked in, her pace and exhausted look, combined with the fact her hair was kinda messed up made it clear she wasn't fully awake. "Good morning Uranus…"

"Good morning, Mother of God," Uranus giggled playfully. She snorted with amusement as a clearly audible 'click' was heard. "He hung up. Good news on the Kokabiel front. He's being tried as we speak. I really doubt he'll get much sympathy. The punishment is banishment to the Abyss."

"Oof...It would be kinder to kill him…" Lucifel shivered.

"Hmmm? The Abyss? That came up in some of the history books.." Plutia asked, her interest peaked. She was a sadist after all.

"There is no hope, no end in sight, no reprieve. It's considered the most extreme of all punishments. He's not getting out, ever. Kokabiel made his last mistake," Uranus said.

"He was always pushing the envelope. Trying to see how much he could get away with. I'm glad that someone stopped me from follow that path," Kalawarner gave Plutia a grateful look before turning back to serving breakfast.

Plutia smiled. "Your welcome…. Kala do you have any more of that wake up juice? The stuff you used when Issei woke me up stupidly early."

"We will probably have to go to the ORC," Kalawarner sighed. She prepared the tonic for Plutia. As she walked by Lucifel, the Fallen stopped to pet her daughter's hair tenderly. Lucifel beamed happily with her cheeks stuffed with pancakes.

"Do you have to be so cute?" Uranus teased but that didn't stop her from snapping a couple pictures. Cuteness should be saved after all.

Plutia drank the tonic, before hugging Lucifel. "Never stop being cute baby." The goddess loved her daughter with all of her heart.

"I promise to always be cute, and totally hot as Iris Daughter," Lucifel beamed.

A snapping sound heralded the destruction of a spatula. Kalawarner slowly set down the broken pieces, rummaged through the drawer, and pulled out a new one.

"Do you break spatulas often?" Uranus asked curious. The drawer was full of cooking utensils.

"Only when contemplating disturbing things," Kala answered absently. Something in her tone informed Uranus that 'there be dragons here.'

Plutia facepalmed. "Lucifel please don't drive Kala to break all of the spatulas please. Anyways… we should head out soon."

"Yes Plutia-mama," Lucifel cocked her head to the side.

"There's a lot to talk about I imagine," Uranus sighed.
Today was not going to be fun for anyone.

Plutia sighed, and transformed. Iris Heart quickly stretched as her fairy like processor unit formed behind her. "Aaah. That feels better. Anyways, I suggest we make haste so we can see Asia and get this over with."

Iris Daughter soon made her appearance as the Fallen spread their wings.
"How is that we somehow avoid anyone seeing us?" Uranus asked.

"I don't want us to be seen so we're not," Iris Daughter shrugged.

"That's...huh. Dad would flip...He would want to study it," Uranus shook her head.

"Can't. It's classified," the young Candidate flipped her hair.

"Girls! Fly now, joke later," Kalawarner said sternly.

Thankfully the trip was mercifully short. At the Occult Research Club the Devils, Exorcists, and Asia were having breakfast. The emissaries of the Church looked more than a little frazzled. Someone must have told them about God, and mentioned just who they mouthed off to yesterday.

Iris Heart smiled as she saw Asia and Issei where alright. She dropped the transformation, and Plutia gently landed. "Glad to see everyone's ok.." She yawned.

As the transformations dropped Irina and Xenovia's eyes widened.

"God is...adorable?" Irina asked confusedly.
Xenovia just stared in profound shock and a faint blush. She could be heard muttering "No way God can be this adorable…" Lucifel merely preened in response.

Plutia chuckled. "Of course she's adorable. She's my daughter after all." The sleepy CPU quickly wiped the last remnants of sleep from her eyes.

Rias walked over to Plutia. The well built redhead looked amused at the Exorcists' reactions.

"They didn't believe us about Lucifel. We were trying to explain her all morning," Rias giggled.

"It's one thing to hear it...but to actually be in her presence? I can't believe we didn't make the connection earlier…" Xenovia looked abashed.

"That's why I like to use Iris Daughter form. My alternate form conceals my true nature," Lucifel waved her finger playfully.

"Why would you need to hide?" Irina asked.

Asia made room on the sofa for Plutia with her and Issei. Kalawarner joined Akeno in serving refreshments. Everyone looked curious for Lucifel's answer. The child deity's impish smile dropped immediately.

"I was curious to see what the emissaries of my Church were like," she said blandly. The Exorcists paled as their first impression wasn't exactly the best.

Plutia sighed. "And somehow you managed to seriously upset Asia… who's one of the, if not the sweetest person I have ever known."

"I can sense the two of you have wonderful hearts. I'm just mystified and just where all of the hostility comes from," Lucifel shook her head.

"Anything we say would just sound like an excuse…" Irina looked down at her feet in shame. Lucifel gently tilted her head up.

"Try," she urged kindly.

"We're one of the most successful teams currently in the Church. The Church sends us into dangerous situations on a regular basis. It's hard to trust when we're taught to fight the darkness," Irina sighed. Xenovia took her hand comfortingly. Lucifel sat on the twintailed girl's lap and turned her body to hug them both. Her action surprised the pair.

"Sounds to me like you have PTSD," Lucifel said. Constantly fighting in dangerous situations, with no rest, would take a toll on anyone.

Plutia nodded. "Sounds like it to me baby… Your better at reading people then I am at least." Plutia looked to the two exorcists. "Anyways, any questions or anything for me? I wouldn't be surprised if you have any."

The pair turned worshipful looks on Plutia, but also a little wild around the eyes. God was hugging them and Her mother was being friendly.

"Who was the father?" Xenovia asked.

Kalawarner waved cheerfully. The tight maid uniform looked quite fetching on her. Xenovia wobbled in her seat at the implications.

Plutia chuckled. "The jerk who had been in charge of the fallen before I sword-nuked their base had made or gotten a sacred gear stealing artifact. Me and Kala where looking around the area where there base was, and we found the thing. It drained most of my energy from range, and when we investigated it the thing was broken, crystals covered the room it was in, and a big crystal was in the middle. Thing took some more energy from both of us, broke some more, and then Lucifel popped out." The goddess elaborated.

"Immaculate conception," Lucifel smiled. The smile dropped off her face as she tried to keep the Church girls from keeling over. Luckily Kiba and Issei were watching for when the two overloaded.

"That was worth the price of admission," Akeno smirked.

"You got in for free," Rias teased.

"A bargain at twice the price," Akeno rebutted.

"Please try to be serious," Asia said. A few moments later her facade cracked and she laughed. "Okay so that was kind of funny."

Koneko shook her head in mock despair at her friends' antics.

It took Plutia a moment or five to stop chuckling. "Asia, there's nothing "kind of" about that." Once the two where back on their feet, Plutia smiled. "So anything else?"

"Why is everyone so calm and laid back about this?" Irina asked.

"Honestly? Aside from people challenging them, they really don't flaunt that they're goddesses," Rias shrugged.

"They've been nice to me and taught me a lot," Asia smiled.

"Kalawarner is my teacher. Plutia talked me through a rough patch. I can't really seen her as anything but a friend. Lucifel's so cute I can't put her on a pedestal," Issei said. It said a lot that not once did he ogle anyone.

"I'm not a goddess Issei, but thank you," Kalawarner smiled.

Rias' Peerage, Asia, and the Exorcists all looked at her in mild disbelief.

Plutia chuckled. "Kala's not a goddess. 'Just' a Fallen. Wondering at this point if only humans can be ascended, though as Lucifel shows there are other ways for a goddess to be made."

"I thought I was supposed to avoid ascending people," Lucifel looked at her mother in confusion.

"Lucifel please...Plutia and Kala said you shouldn't without a consensus," Asia scolded her gently. Lucifel looked absurdly pleased at the normally respectful girl showing more backbone.

Plutia rolled her eyes. "Lucifel I was referring to how you were born. Me and Asia were ascended, though I don't know how it happened to me, but you were born." The sleepy CPU smiled.

"Ah, right. Ahem...so it IS possible for people to ascend. Just that the methods are usually complicated, dangerous, silly, or some combination of the above. The Red Dragon Emperor, for example, can ascend into a True Dragon, but only with the Boosted Gear's permission," Lucifel explained.

"Ddraig says 'not on your life,'" Issei said wryly.

"He would defy God?" Xenovia looked surprised.

"That's a Dragon for you. I have a great deal of respect for the Heavenly Dragons and their power," Lucifel said.

Uranus was quiet up until this point. Most of the room seemed to have forgotten she was there as the Fallen stepped forward.

"The real issue isn't about 'ascension' but what the Exorcists will tell the Church," Uranus reminded them that the meeting was actually a debriefing.

Plutia's smile turned vicious. "Ah. Yes. My bad. Anyways, Exorcists. You are going to keep Lucifel being His successor-slash-reincarnation or whatever under wraps. I do not want some jerk trying anything to hurt her. And if I find out you told them anyways and Lucifel gets hurt?" Plutia glared at them, her magenta eyes focused right on them with cold intensity. "You will regret it. I will ensure that."

Kalawarner drew her spear in solidarity with Plutia's words. The message was clear. Lucifel merely smiled fondly at her parents' protectiveness.

"Hey whatever She wants. I'm not going to say anything that gets God, or her parents, mad at us," Irina held her hands up.

"Better keep it on the 'down low' until I speak with Michael," Lucifel said.

"Could you put the Excaliburs back together?" Xenovia asked. The little Divinity snorted inelegantly.

"Why would I do a stupid thing like that? The Church stole them from Nimue, the Lady in the Lake, so it's up to her if they're repaired," Lucifel folded her arms.

The Exorcists had no intention of arguing. Curiosity sated the two realized Lucifel was still in their laps. Xenovia was even petting her hair to the Exorcist's shock. Kalawarner put her spear away with an amused look.

Plutia chuckled. "Lucifel is adorable. It's a fact of the universe, like the fact that up is well. Up. Anyways, what did happen last night? Me and Lucifel only were able to see the end due to the link Lucifel has to Asia."

The debriefing began starting with Asia. Then it fell to the Exorcists and Peerage to explain their part. Freed was smart with his use of Excalibur Nightmare. He made illusions of himself over the fighters to confuse them. He was torn apart by high winds when Asia tricked him into the center of a massive casting circle. Easily an Exe Drive on par with turning into fighter jets. The fight with Kokabiel was surprisingly short given his power. Short but extremely taxing.

"I still feel like my head is packed with wool and my limbs feel weak," Asia sighed. Exhausting her energy, and her Shares, left her in a sorry state.

"Yeah, my bones feel like they were broken and knit back together. Transforming really takes it out of a guy," Issei groaned and rolled his neck.

Plutia nodded. "Asia you're going to rest till you get your shares and energy back up. Issei once your feeling better I am going to have Kala train you with your balance breaker if Rias is okay with it. Exorcists… Not sure what to say." The sleepy CPU shrugged at the bigger girls.

"I'm fine with Issei getting more training," Rias shrugged, the red haired devil being happy to help.

"We could all use more training," Akeno suggested to her King, a thoughtful look on her face.

"Right. We all need more training if this is going to keep happening," Rias sighed.

The Exorcists looked troubled.

"We do have to report something to the Church…" Irina said.

"But if we can't mention Lucifel…" Xenovia shook her head.

Uranus folded her hands behind her head, "So what? Tell them you found out God died."

"What would they do to us if we said that?" Xenovia asked.

"Excommunication. That's how most Exorcists 'Fall.' They're not all psychopaths after all," Uranus said. The girls looked stricken, and Asia looked ill, at the thought of excommunication.

"Like it really matters when you haven an 'in' with me," Lucifel reminded them.

"Wait...what?" Irina blinked.

"Yeah. Excommunication doesn't mean I'm going to turn my back on you. We really need to work on this crap," Lucifel huffed in annoyance. How many good people were shunned by the Church over things that weren't their fault? Her red eyes started to glow with an unearthly light. Clearly she was Plutia's daughter.

Plutia head patted her daughter. "Stay calm. I do not want you to pick up my temper. You're too cute for it. And if they want to stay with the Church, perhaps have them simply report they mention me, and that I have ways to ascend people when the topic of Asia comes up? It's the truth, just not… the whole truth."

"We can add that, sure," Xenovia nodded. The thought of having an "in" with God really took away a lot of their worry.

Uranus merely watched with a calculating expression.

"Are you trying to stir the pot deliberately?" Kalawarner asked the younger girl.

"This is where Lucifel starts to form the core of her beliefs. The beliefs that will be the bedrock of Her Church. Don't you want to see a more accepting and inclusive Church?" Uranus asked.

"I see where you're coming from. At first I thought you were manipulating her," the older Fallen patted Uranus on the head eliciting a startled look. Kalawarner clearly never touched her before, let alone affectionately.

Plutia rolled her eyes. "I think no matter what, Lucifel will do a good job at her church if she wants to make one." The CPU shrugged. '...I really do need to start working on getting shares. I really need those.'

"When will you be leaving?" Rias asked the Exorcists politely.

"We must be going soon. The Church wanted us to report on the matter immediately," Irina smiled apologetically.

"I am just sorry we have to leave already," Xenovia sighed.

"You're always welcome to return," Rias said graciously.

"You're not so bad after all," Kiba smiled faintly.

"From him that's high praise indeed," Akeno teased.

Plutia nodded. "You kept Asia and Issei safe, so you two are clearly not horrible people." The goddess took a deep breath. "Anything else we need to talk about Rias?"

"Ah yes. Territory issues mainly," Rias sighed while leading Plutia out of the room for a private talk. The redhead brought the purple haired girl to a smaller sitting room. Her shadow, Akeno, was nowhere to be seen.

The goddess leaned into her chair. "This has got to be serious if Akeno isn't around…. So. I'll let you start." Plutia hugged her doll, having been discreetly carrying the bunny plush with her.

"There is an issue we're having. The Fallen didn't exactly leave a positive impression on their neighbors in your neighborhood. Before that the priest was a fire and brimstone man. He was more concerned with condemning others than tending to his flock. Akeno suggested that I simply purge all of the holy energy in the area. However I gave the area to you. She likes you, don't get me wrong, but she disapproved of having the Church and Fallen here," Rias sat back in contemplation. The heiress shook her head.

"I just want you to know I support whatever you do with the area," Rias said.

Plutia nodded. "I'll probably focus on getting to know the locals, and making the home feel more homely. And if the priest was that kind of colossal asshole… no wonder the locals hated the church according to what Kala told me… what happened to the guy anyways?" The goddess asked.

"The city council revoked their land donation. He was recalled by the Church amid complaints over his behavior. Picketing outside of a Shinto Shrine, in a predominantly Shinto area, isn't going to win a person any friends," Rias smiled sardonically.

"Idiotic bigots are idiotic. News at eleven. I never get why assholes like that seem to think they have a right to be assholes.." Plutia snarked. "But yeah, I'm mainly just planning on being nice to my neighbors. Hopefully none of them recognize Kala. Help them out, hopefully get some shares up and going. Any concerns or anything I'll need to know of?"

"Aside from that? Not really. Just a question. Do you think I should allow other supernaturals into the area? I was trying to keep the numbers down, but with more people to secure the territory…" Rias trailed off leadingly.

"As long as they don't hurt anyone I see no reason why not." Plutia answered. "Though I would like a heads-up if any move in near where I live, so to make sure there's not any misunderstandings or such."

"Simple enough. I will let them know to come to me first. However, if they misbehave enough to catch your attention, it's up to you how to deal with them," Rias smiled in a predatory fashion.

Plutia smiled back. "I do. Probably will stick to dolling… Don't want to upset Lucifel if possible." Plutia mused, forgetting the fact she hadn't told Rias about her new spell.

"Dolling?" Rias asked curiously.

Plutia blinked. "Yeah. I made a spell meant for non-lethal takedowns. Turns the target into a plush doll like my rabbit, keeps them from using their mana, and puts them to sleep mentally till the spell is dispelled."

"That's actually a very nice thing you did," Rias was surprised. She blushed a moment later at just how that sounded. "Not that you aren't nice. Just that people who annoy you tend to have trouble breathing."

Plutus chuckled. "No biggie. I..have one hell of a temper and pray to myself that Lucifel doesn't have it. She's too cute to swear or be mad."

"I would actually be less worried if she wasn't so composed. It's usually the calm ones who have the most frightening tempers," Rias said dryly.

Plutia nodded. "Yeah. I can be pretty calm when relaxing.. Anything else Rias? Any supernaturals of note who may want to move in?" I asked.

"Thankfully no. Most of them are fairly laid back and easy to deal with. The truly dangerous ones weren't sighted anywhere. I have no tolerance for human eaters or corrupters," Rias said flatly.

Plutia smiled. "Good. Anything else?" The goddess twirled her braided ponytail around her finger.

"No, I think that covers everything. Is there anything you would like to ask me?" Rias asked.

Plutia bit her lip. "Yes. How would you recommend me getting my name out there for helping people? I'm… not the best at dealing with people."

"I can give you a template magic circle. If someone has a wish the circle would 'ping' you. This way you're not dealing with random people, but instead those willingly looking for assistance. You have enough mana to make it work. I can even provide you a copy of the app we use to determine the cost of wishes," Rias offered.

Plutia smiled. "Perfect. I'll probably spend the next days getting back into the swing of things… maybe deal with the crowds at school. I'm starting to get kinda popular…"

"How do these 'shares' work? Is it about people having personal faith in you, or just liking you?" Rias asked curiously.

Plutia looked within, looking for any connection to the school people. "I know the first gives me Shares, and being friends is enough for me to get Shares. Let me check to see if the crowds give me shares.."

There was a faint trickle flowing in from multiple sources. While each one was weaker than the connection she had with her friends, the culmination was surprisingly strong. Being one of the school's mascots came with perks apparently.

"Apparently the crowds do give me Shares… good to know. I do kinda enjoy the attention as long as it doesn't get to be too much.." She yawned.

"Well there isn't anything scheduled on the supernatural side in the immediate future. We need to take a break before we burn out," Rias sighed and stretched tiredly.

Plutia nodded sleepily. "Yeah.. I'll probably spend the rest of the day relaxing with Lucifel and Kala…" With that the CPU got up and walked out of the room.

The Occult Research Club let out for the day. Issei and Asia were going to help the Exorcists make it to the airport on time. The rest of the Peerage made themselves scarce to do their own thing. Rias declared a general holiday and threatened them, on pain of spanking, to behave themselves.

It sounded funny at first, but the way Kiba, Koneko, AND Akeno clutched their bottoms…

Well that was a thing.

The rest of the day was spent at home in the company of her family. Plutia wouldn't have had it any other way.[/i][/b]

Yeah it just isnt us who is the player.

Heck, even in the fic, the MC is one step removed from events and just hears the cliff notes due to laziness lol

Rias was out of town with her Peerage. The Gremory heiress was introducing her Bishop to the rest of her friends. Gasper Vladi was a dhampir who possessed a powerful Sacred Gear called Forbidden Balor View. Apparently it could control time. Rias was deemed not strong enough to handle him at first, but recently she received permission to release him. What that meant for Plutia was that there was no one around to suddenly drop a crisis in her lap.

Kalawarner decided to take Lucifel to the park. The youngest member of the household wanted to actually play with kids her own age. Plutia decided to come along to maybe meet people, and to get some fresh air. She sat down on the bench and pulled out a book, simply content to read and watch Lucifel be happy. "Beautiful day today… Could be a touch colder and it would be perfect." The goddess said to Kala.

"You like the cold?" Kala asked. She kept one eye on Lucifel but it appeared the young girl was content to stay within view. Their daughter was talking animatedly to a group of kids her age and laughing.

Plutia smiled. "Yep. Nothing's better than wrapping myself up in a blanket and watching a good movie, reading a good book, playing a video game, or being with someone I care about. That and I… don't do well in the heat to be blunt. Makes me grumpy and icky. When I was younger it would make me sick to the stomach at times if it was too hot." The CPU shuddered. "That and when it's cold out people didn't bug me as much to go outside if I didn't want to."

Kala put an arm around Plutia's shoulders while sliding closer. "Then let me keep the annoying people away from you," she smiled teasingly. Lucifel glanced over to where her parents sat and smiled a little before turning back to her game.

Plutia rolled her eyes while smiling. "That would be just perfect. Glad to see Lucifel's having fun.. Hm. The house doesn't have any video game consoles… wonder if Uranus has any extras she'd be willing to give us.." The goddess yawned before shifting to slightly lean on Kala.

"Uranus has enough consoles to stock a game store," Kala said dryly while absently laying her cheek in Plutia's hair.

"Point. Hm. Wonder if she's got any digimon games… those can be a pain to find…" The goddess muttered, her thoughts turning to her favorite anime franchise. "Hm. Might be a good way to kill a weekend, watching one of the animes with Lucifel…"

"I remember when Azazel introduced her to us. There was no doubt that she was his, but we never did meet her mother. Uranus doesn't even know who she was. I will admit we didn't always treat her well. The only reason she had any respect at all was because of her father. As time went on she started to show herself to be a prodigy. Combat, magic, diplomacy...You name it and she was practically an expert. Her reputation as an overachiever means that any grumbling is over her talent, not her halfbreed status," Kala said.

Plutia glanced around, and satisfied that no-one had overheard Kala she nodded. "Huh…. Now I want to see how good she is at fighting games…. Then again it's been forever since I've touched one of those…" She shrugged, and looked to see how Lucifel was doing.

Lucifel was enjoying herself with some of the kids from the local middle school. It was a mixed group of girls and boys. The boys wanted to roughhouse while the girls stayed on the sidelines, or invented cheers. There was a lot more enthusiasm than coordination in their performance, but no one seemed to mind. Kala chuckled softly as Lucifel decided being on the sidelines was boring. She stole the ball and took off with the startled boys trailing behind her. The girls openly laughed at the silly sight.

Plutia chuckled. "Lucifel looks like she's having fun. That's always a good thing to see. I'd be on the sidelines reading book if I was Lucifel's age..."

"Our little girl is just a bundle of energy," Kalawarner smiled fondly.

Lucifel gave the boys back their ball. After a brief discussion they decided that girls could join the game too. It was organized chaos but at least the kids were having fun. From the far side of the park, Uranus entered. She stopped with a surprised look at seeing Lucifel. The young Fallen turned to where Kala and Plutia were seated.

"My luck is so weird. I was just thinking about you and here I am," she sounded mystified.

"You were daydreaming again?" Kala smiled faintly.

"You know me. I get distracted and suddenly 'bam' I'm making a sandwich. In the library," Uranus shook her head.

Plutia chuckled. "Where would you even get the stuff to make a sandwich in the middle of a library?" The goddess yawned as her thoughts turned to the Neptunia series. '...Hm. Uranus has a bit of red hair… and daydreaming? ...Is this universe's version of Uzume her mother? That would explain why Kala doesn't know who her mother is, if Uzume sealed herself away like she did in the games… Wait. Uzume was around when Hyper!Histy was made. Is there a stray book fairy out there?' Plutia looked around, half expecting to suddenly start getting nagged at. "Anyways how have you been doing Uranus?"

"Good, good. How are you?" Uranus dragged her attention back to the here and now. She looked puzzled but soon just let it go.

"Doing good. Though what did Kala and you mean when it comes to the day-dreaming thing? Where would you even get sandwich stuff in a library?" Plutia asked, filled with a sense of curiosity.

"Oh that. Well...My mom was human. Dad thinks it might be my Sacred Gear. She had one that did something similar. Whatever she wanted would happen, but the effects could be unpredictable if her attention wandered. We haven't found proof that I have a Gear though," Uranus shrugged.

Plutia nodded. "Ah makes sense. Maybe Lucifel can help if she wants to?" The CPU yawned. '...Uzume's daydreaming was a natural power… and that seems to confirm this world's version of her is Uranus's mom.' Plutia looked to Uranus. "Question. Do you have any extra video game consoles that me and Kala could have for the house? I'd like to get back into playing video games…"

"Yeah...I kind of forgot that about Lucifel. I still see my little cousin more than the big G, y'know? If you need consoles I can hook ya up," Uranus grinned. It was a little lie that she forgot who Lucifel was. To be more accurate she was choosing to treat her like a normal kid. Kala smiled appreciatively.

Plutia shrugged. "It rarely crosses my mind. I just want her to be safe and happy. And as for consoles... A PS4 and three 3DSes, one for me, one for Lucifel, and one for Kala if she wants to play any games, sounds like a good place to start. As for what games to go with em? I prefer RPGs, but don't be afraid to give us anything you think we'd enjoy if you want to." The goddess ran a hand through her braided ponytail as she thought. "And if you have any Digimon games for those systems I'd like some of those if possible."

"Easy peasy lemon squeezy. I have most of this stuff at home. Anything I don't have I can just ask my Dad. I make a lot of money with some of my inventions. The Digimon games are a particular fave of mine, but I don't mind if you borrow them for awhile," Uranus beamed.

Plutia smiled. "Thanks. They were so stupidly hard to get at home I only really managed to get what… two games? One for my DS and one for my PS4. To be honest I prefer the Digimon games to Pokémon games as well.. people say Pokémon has better games while Digimon has the better anime, but honestly I think the Pokémon games can get stale." The goddess shrugged after that and looked back onto what Lucifel was doing.

Lucifel waved goodbye to her new friends while running over to the group. She didn't slow down and crashed into Uranus for a hug. The taller girl laughed and gave her a spin.

"Hey lil' cousin! Done breaking hearts already?" Uranus grinned.

"I'm working on these two before I start my harem plans," Lucifel gestured at her parents jokingly.

Plutia blushed. "Lucifel..I honestly need time to think over what exactly my feelings for Kala are beyond friendly…" The CPU shrugged, vainly trying to get the blushing to stop. "Anyways, are you ready to head home?"

"Yeah, let's go. I want to talk to Uranus about her 'Sacred Gear' anyway," Lucifel said. Uranus arched an eyebrow at the emphasis she placed on Sacred Gear.

"What can you tell me?" Uranus asked.

Kalawarner started the arduous process of convincing the pair of younger Fallen to go home. Lucifel just smiled mysteriously and refused to say anything to Uranus. At least out in the open. Uranus, for her part, was getting frustrated at being so close to an answer and denied. Thankfully the youngest didn't keep the poor girl on a string for long. As soon as they got home she turned to Uranus.

"You don't have a Sacred Gear," Lucifel said.

"Then what do I have? My mom had it too," Uranus pointed out.

Once more, Kala had to steer the conversing pair somewhere else. Talking in the entryway wasn't civilized apparently. She had the pair ensconced in the living room. Plutia took a seat to see if her theory was correct.

"Yeah...I don't think your mom was human. You 'feel' more like my mom than anything," Lucifel said.

"How is that possible?" Uranus asked in disbelief.

"Have you heard of the Dimensional Gap?" Lucifel asked.

"Of course I have," Uranus said.

"The Dimensional Gap is home to Great Red. A dragon of such monumental power that most are absolutely powerless before him. Including myself. Including God. None are stronger. However, beyond the Gap, is theorized to be other realities. I'm not really sure how your mom would have got here, but Great Red only keeps out dangerous elements anyway," Lucifel shrugged.

"And you think my mom came from another world?" Uranus gawked.

Plutia shrugged. "...It's not impossible. Somehow I got here after all. I know this isn't my world because well… I looked myself up. Nothing. Nothing about me vanishing. Nothing at all. Nothing about my parents as well…" The goddess closed her eyes, her emotions conflicted. '...I doubt I'd want to go home. Getting in touch with Xal and the others, maybe healing him, would be enough for me… And Uranus's mom is definitely Uzume. I pray to me that she hasn't gone delusional and become Kurome…'

"The Dimensional Gap has its own rules. If you want to try to use it to go anywhere, be cautious. Wait until you're stronger to handle whatever might be waiting. Great Red is the strongest being there is, but he's not the only one. Just because something is weaker than him doesn't make it less dangerous," Lucifel stared straight in Uranus' eyes even if her words for Plutia as well.

"Hey I'm in no hurry to get myself killed, thank you very much. I would like to meet my mom, if she is still alive, but...I think if I died trying to reach her it would just hurt mom and my dad," Uranus slowly shook her head.

Plutia shuddered, a subtle fear washing over her. A fear she hadn't felt ever since her ascension. "And I… yeah I very much don't want to die. I… I don't want to leave you and Kala and all of my friends behind.." She took a deep breath to calm down before opening her eyes. "Though.. if Uranus feels like me shouldn't she be able to transform?" The goddess asked, casting out her spiritual sense to get a good look at Uranus. The potential was there but muted. In fact it was the reason she was already a four winged Fallen. She was somewhere in the middle.

"She needs a catalyst for HDD. I could just give her a piece of Sharicite, but she would actually be stronger if it happens naturally," Lucifel said.

"HDD? Like what Plutia, you, and Asia can do?" Uranus asked.

"Yeah. You have the potential, as is your birthright, but the spark hasn't ignited yet," Lucifel explained.

"Is it because I'm a Fallen?" Uranus sounded bitter.

"The only reason you have the potential is because you're a Fallen. If you weren't Divine the spark would have died," Lucifel shook her head. Uranus looked happier and more satisfied with the answer.

Plutia yawned. "Well. That's two things to keep in mind then.. one, that Uranus's mom was a goddess like me and we should probably figure out what happened to her, plus Uranus has the potential to use HDD, and two. Everything about the dimensional gap. Let's not poke it. I don't want to wake up Cthulhu or whatever is in there." The goddess smiled. "Hmm. Uranus have I told you about the doll spell yet?"

"Doll spell?" Uranus practically jumped at the chance to forget the past few minutes. It might have something to do with Plutia's casual mention of Cthulhu in the Dimensional Gap.

"Yep. Made it to non-lethally knock out people by turning them into dolls like the one I use for my voodoo stuff. Doubles as a great relaxation aid as well." Plutia grinned. "Wanna see it?"

"Sure," Uranus shrugged.

"Kay. Kala don't dispel it till like a hour or so from now." Still grinning, Plutia reached out with her magic and casted the spell on herself, and took special care to keep a eye on how the spell affected her own thoughts.

"She...she turned Chibi!" Uranus sounded equal parts stunned and excited. She snatched her hands back in mid lunge to hold the plushie. Lucifel giggled and picked up her Plutia-mama and sat in Uranus' lap. The older girl happily took the invitation to cuddle them both.

"I swear...It was nice for awhile," Kala admits before sitting down on the sofa.

Plutia for her part was simply enjoying being inanimate, held, and hugged, as she felt herself get more and more tired as her mana was calmed, and she heard the whispering on the faint edges of her hearing. Turning her mental attention to the voice and her own thoughts Plutia observed her own mental state. The 'voice' just kept repeating that Plutia should be calm over and over again. Through careful observation the 'voice' was more of a subconscious nudge. She could 'hear' it because the spell was hers. Nodding mentally, the goddess stopped resisting her spell, and payed attention to her thoughts. What exactly did it feel like to let the spell run its course?

Her mana began to slow until it reached low ebb. It slipped completely out of her grasp and pooled at the base of her 'soul.' However, as soon as that happened, the spell ended. Plutia popped back to full size to the squealed delight of Lucifel. The older goddess sprawled across her offspring even as her face landed in Uranus' cleavage. At least it was her legs in Lucifel's lap. Uranus tried to struggled to get out from under Plutia before a terrible sound caused her to freeze.

Kalawarner was taking pictures. Plutia for her part was blushing as red as a tomato and quickly removed herself from Uranus's cleavage. "Kala I order you to delete those pictures." She ordered, looking absolutely embarrassed. 'Really Kala! It is funny though. But also horribly embarrassing… Hm. Wonder if the spell ending when it felt like it did was just because I slipped into unconsciousness and lost track of time, or if it has a limited duration..'

"Well I can delete them, I suppose," Kalawarner said.

"What did you do?" Uranus asked.

"I may have sent your father a couple pictures of you cuddling on the sofa," Kala beamed.

"That's not too bad," Uranus allowed.

"Then sent him a couple after she canceled the spell on Plutia-mama," Lucifel ratted her out.

"Lucifel dear, don't be a buzzkill," Kalawarner said.

"So you deleted the pictures after the damage was already done?" Uranus' wings popped out due to her agitation. Lucifel snuggled up to her wings.

"So fluffy! Fluffier than Kala-mama's!" Lucifel cooed and pat the wing feathers.

"...I can't be angry with that much cuteness," Uranus pouted. The camera clicked again.

"Precious," Kala grinned.

"Agreed. How long was I out? The spell kinda messes with my perception of time…" Plutia asked.

Seeing as how Lucifel was cuddling with Uranus' 'fluffy wings' it fell to Kalawarner to explain.

"You were out for half an hour. Lucifel noticed that your energy was too still to undo the change yourself," Kala said.

Plutia pouted, and crossed her arms. She looked adorable. "That's why I asked you to dispel it like thirty or so minutes from now."

"And we did. At least now we know for certain that there is a point of no return. Where the trapped can't even try to escape," Kala said.

"Can I get a copy of the spell? It looks dead useful," Uranus said.

"More plushies…" Lucifel's eyes sparkled.

Plutia patted Lucifel's head, smiling at the star struck look on her daughter's face. "Lemme go get my notebook from the library. Also, Kala, decently sure by the time I was unconscious last time I used the spell on myself, my mana was at that point. I was just keeping myself awake this time…" Plutia quickly left and came back with photo-copes of two pages from her notebook, and passed them to Uranus. "Forgot I had photocopied the spell. First page is for the version that keeps the target conscious and able to use their magic, second page is for the version that makes them unable to use their mana and makes them eventually fall unconscious till the spell is dispelled."

"Excellent! Thank you so much for this. A nonlethal capture spell would be so useful," Uranus beamed. The pages vanished without a trace.

"You would actually have a better chance of making it work. Since it takes visualization and imagination. Two things that your power makes you uniquely suited for," Lucifel smirked.

"She is better at illusions and enchantments…" Kalawarner tapped her chin.

"I just don't want to fall behind in combat skills," Uranus sighed.

Pluita's eyes briefly sparkled at the mention of illusions. "Maybe you could spar someone? That's what I do… Also I need to find and read the books on illusions..."

"In the library under 'Illusions,'" Kalawarner said before turning to Uranus. "Why do you think illusions wouldn't help your combat skills?"

"I just want something that can end a fight before someone gets hurt," Uranus said.

"Plutia's Doll Spell is a transformation magic that isn't flashy, or explodes, but can end a fight. Honestly, kids these days all want to be blow things up! Illusions, Charms, and Enchantments could make an enemy your friend, send someone off to sleep, incite discord among your foes, and many other things," Kalawarner assumed her Lecturing Pose, one finger in the air with the other supporting her bust.

Plutia blushed. "I'll probably look into those schools of magic anyways, because dirty tricks like that sound fun. That and I like messing around with magic." The goddess yawned, covering her mouth with her hand. "Hmm. I might work on some more transformation magic as well… The mention of dragons earlier gives me a idea… And I wonder how HDD would interact with a transformation spell used on myself."

"Don't worry, Plutia-mama. I can reverse anything that goes wrong," Lucifel pumped her fist.

"I know that as Fallen we can shapeshift. It's not just limited to our wings either. We can assume other forms, but mostly humanoid. Unless the Fallen devotes significant time to learning, changing into non-humanoid forms is difficult," Uranus shrugged.

"Most of us don't bother as a simple change to put our wings away is usually enough. Raynare was skilled enough to even alter her apparent age. My own skill is limited to making small additions like simple claws. I never saw the point in more," Kalawarner said.

"What about changing into a different gender?" Lucifel asked curiously.

"If you wanted it to be more than just cosmetic, it would take work. Hardly worth the trouble," Kala waved a hand dismissively. Uranus blushed a little in response.

Plutia had stiffened ever so slightly, and shuddered. Behavior similar to Kala after Plutia used the doll spell on her. "Note to self, find a way to dispel transfiguration magic aimed at me before it takes effect…."

"I doubt anyone is going to switch your gender," Kalawarner stroked Plutia's hair soothingly. The CPU shifted closer to the fallen angel.

"I'll tell Dad to keep his raygun away from you," Uranus promised.

"He has a gender switch gun?" Lucifel asked in amazement.

"Yes," she refused to elaborate.

Plutia took a deep breath, to keep herself from making a threat. "Anyways. I'll probably mess around with magic later… Might go take a nap in a bit…" Lucifel have her mother a bigger hug than usual, pride shining in her eyes at how well she controlled herself.

"A nap will do you well I think. Sleep well," Kala smiled.

"That's my cue to split…" Uranus started to stand only for Kalawarner to grip her shoulder.

"Where are you going, young lady?" She asked.

"Uh...home?" Uranus looked confused.

"We will begin your instruction in illusions today. I will not have you running around with a natural talent, with no understanding of how to use it," Kala declared firmly.

"Help?" She turned to Lucifel and Plutia for assistance.

"Have fun, cousin!" Lucifel was...no help at all.

Plutia smirked. "Denied~" Plutia was also of no help. Yawning, the elder goddess headed off to her room, intent on taking a nap to calm her nerves. Closing the door of her comfy bedroom behind her, the small room having purple colored walls, and was dominated by her massive bed. There were also a closet filled with copies of her school uniform and sleep-slash-non school wear. She hopped onto her bed and pulled up the blue blankets before hugging her bunny and closing her eyes. '...I came really close to having to come out with my biggest secret… How...How would Lucifel react? How would Kala? Asia? Uranus? Issei and the rest of the ORC?' Her thoughts where frantic, and made it impossible to fall asleep.

Sighing, the CPU reached out for her mana, and with her eyes closed, casted the plushie spell on herself so she could get some sleep. The spell slowed her mana and allowed the tension to just fall away, her consciousness falling with it.. A small figure crawled into bed with Plutia and hugged the plushie of her mama.

Nothing needed to be said.

Featuring a revelation about Uranus's past(and the confirmation of a theory of mine)! As well as... A hinting about myself.

How did I only just discover this? Not only is it two of my favorite series and written by Ding, but it involves my favorite CPU!

Looking forward to seeing their reaction to meeting Azazel.
I get the feeling he'd get along well with the Gamindustri crew, when(if?) they finally make an appearance
Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to see if there are any other stories that Ding's started that I've missed out on.

PS: Praise be to Iris Heart!

So thats pretty much confirmation that Gamindustri is out there.
Now im imagining everyones reaction to a second Plutia showing up.
Asia only needs to be very careful around Vert otherwise she will never be able to return.

In Which Everyone is Talking

The next morning saw Lucifel still in bed with Plutia snuggling with her mother. She sighed softly in the stillness with a melancholy air. The young goddess appeared troubled by something. She buried her face in Plutia's chest with a moan of displeasure. The sleeping goddess awoke as Lucifel dispelled the doll spell.

"What's wrong Lucifel?" She asked, worry tinting her voice.

"I had another weird dream. I feel like I'm being pulled between my child form and my goddess one. A lot of my problems would be fixed by just connecting me to the Divine System," Lucifel rubbed her forehead tiredly.

Plutia hugged her daughter. "I'll move up talking to the angels then… Hopefully they're reasonable enough to let you fully connect to the Divine System."

"My dreams are strange. Not strange in that I don't know what they mean. Just strange in that I'm getting them at all. It's like I'm seeing a clipshow of people, all over the world, praying. The easy ones are people praying to get a raise or material stuff. The hards ones though...The prayers asking why we can't love each other. Why they're going to bed hungry. The worst are the children…" Lucifel whimpered.

Plutia tightened her hug on her daughter. "If the dreams are that bad then I'll make getting you get connected to the divine system ASAP my top goal. Sleep should be a thing of peace, a rest after a long day… Not more bad things." Her voice was full of conviction.

Lucifel sighed with relief, "I...I'm also scared of the Doll Spell. At first I thought it was neat, but then watching the effect on you...Your mana just slowing until it stopped…" She couldn't contain the shudder.

Plutia hugged her daughter tighter. "I...I'm sorry I didn't mean to scare you… Though, the effects feel comfy, like falling into a nice nap, if that helps at all." Plutia bit her lip in worry.

"Kala-mama says you know your own mind. I just wanted to say how I feel. I couldn't go on without saying anything," Lucifel snuggled closer.

Plutia continued to hug her daughter. "I understand. Again, if I do something and it worries you… tell me. I'm not the best when it comes to people and such.."

"Considering I literally appeared out of nowhere? You're doing pretty well," Lucifel smiled playfully.

Plutia chuckled. "Thanks… Now I wish I had a TV in here because I'm too comfy to get up to get my laptop so we could watch something cute."

"Bippity boppity boo," Lucifel waved a hand and the laptop landed on the bed. "It's magic. By its very nature it's impressive! Or I'm lazy too."

Plutia smiled. "Why not both? I'll need to make a spell for teleporting things later." Using her own magic, Plutia opened up the laptop and looked through her movies. "How does Lilo and Stitch sound?"

"Sounds good to me," Lucifel beamed. There was still a shadow from her dreams, but it was fading gradually.

"Since you didn't come down to breakfast, I brought it up," Kala nudged the door open with her hip with a tray of breakfast. Lucifel slid over to make room for her to sit down. She smiled while accepting the invitation.

Plutia smiled. "Glad you could join us Kala. This is gonna be a good day despite the kinda bad wake-up. I can feel it." Plutia turned on the movie before she grabbed her plate and started eating her chocolate pancakes.

"You had school today," Kalawarner mentioned after the movie. She sighed, "You looked troubled so I didn't mention it until now." The Fallen was highly perceptive. Goddess and Angel were alone as Lucifel made herself scarce.

Plutia face palmed. "Curses. Eh. One missed day won't kill me. Hopefully. Rias and Issei and the rest of the ORC aren't worried right?" Plutia yawned. "And how are you doing?"

"Lucifel already told you my one source of concern. I think I can leave that alone now," Kala smiled faintly. "Rias called to check on you. I told her you were a little tired and needed a break. Even when you're trying to rest you can't catch a break it seems."

"Yeah… it sucks I'll admit. I'll probably just try and spend the rest of the day keeping calm and relaxing. Yesterday made me realize my nerves are very much on edge even when I'm trying to keep calm.." Plutia yawned, before rubbing the sleep out of her eyes.

"Just so you know...No matter what you tell us, we do care. I'll admit that in the beginning it was out of a desire to stay alive. Then Lucifel happened, and the respect I've received, it's growing harder to keep that mercenary mindset. So I don't. It's thanks to you that I can enjoy these things. Please don't think we would turn you away. Your true friends certainly won't," Kalawarner embraced Plutia warmly.

Plutia hugged back. "Glad I could be of help. And Lucifel and all that, I...I wouldn't trade anything for it. She's just too close to my heart to even think of leaving her like a deadbeat mom, or letting her get hurt.. And my friends help me stay grounded.."

"We all have something in our past that we fear getting out. It's natural. The older you are the more regrets you accumulate. However this will never be a regret," Kala stroked her hair tenderly.

Plutia nodded. "Yeah. I can just be a worry-wort, which gets in the way of relaxing and calming down…" The goddess looked to Kala. "So have I been worrying you or anything? I do care about you, even if I am not sure how beyond at the very least a friend…"

"Teasing you is fun, but you are a little young for me. I suppose...what it all comes down to…" Kalawarner didn't seem to know what to say. She was fishing for the words. Finally, after a long silence, she said. "I feel like we're a lot alike. We both felt abandoned by an uncaring system. At first there was pain, but then rage. The rage numbed the pain, but it never fully got rid of it. I have lived my life with pain, rage, and sadism. Seeing you...I actually prayed you wouldn't go through what I did." The Fallen's voice dropped to a whisper.

Plutia nodded. "Yeah… There's more to it on my end but yeah… I… I can honestly scare myself when I let my temper or well.. pain.. get the better of me. So if I start to slip, make sure I don't fall okay? I don't want to break Lucifel's heart." Plutia shook her head. "Onto other things…" Plutia too struggled to find something to say. "...I just wish we could go a week without drama."

"I have an answer to that. I have a house on the beach in the Caribbean. It's just a little place I like to go to when I need a break. There would be enough space for all of us. We could go on Friday and come back Sunday night," Kala offered.

Plutia smiled. "Perfect. Though, I'll probably crank the AC up as much as I can when inside if that's not a problem."

"Why would that be a problem? If you're inside it should be cool. Can't have you overheating," Kala ruffled Plutia's hair lightly.

Plutia smiled. "Oh me that's the last of my reservations I have about it then. So besides that… Hm. I'm wondering if I should do some reading on some magic or maybe make a new spell. Messing around with magic is fun…" Plutia bit her lip in thought. "Then again after the end of yesterday I just wanna relax.. Hm."

"Does crafting magic sound like it would be relaxing? Honestly, it's less of a chore if you enjoy what you're doing. Azazel used to quote 'If you enjoy what you're doing, you will never work a day in your life,'" Kala said.

Plutia nodded. "It is fun… yet not the relaxing kind of fun. Might do some reading of the non-magic books we got… Or has Uranus arrived with the consoles yet? Playing video games would be a great way to pass the time."

"She was at school and has club activities. You'll just have to make do with books," Kala smirked.

Plutia shrugged. "The library's the biggest room in the house so I won't have a lack of reading materials. Hm. I wonder if there are any books on doll making in there. I know Lucifel would like having a plushy to cuddle."

"I think we have a bit of everything to be honest…" Kalawarner pondered the library. Whoever stocked it either had eclectic tastes or planned for someone with ADD.

"Perfect. I'll see what I can do then. Before I head off to the library, anything else Kala?" Plutia asked as she started to get out of bed, rubbing her choker, which she barely even noticed most days, absentmindedly.

Kala thinks about it a moment before giving Plutia a big hug. She lets the smaller girl go with a smile, "That's it. I better get to cleaning." Just because the Fallen admitted a platonic care for her, didn't stop the older woman from sashaying out of the room.

Plutia chuckled before heading off to the library to search for a book on how to make dolls. 'It would give me something to do with my hands when bored… Plus I miss having like twenty or so stuffed animals on my bed.'

There was a general crafts book in the library. It wasn't particularly complicated, but it did give the basics for a wide variety of projects. All of them were simple to start with. After finding the materials required, mainly fabric, string, feathers, and other such things, Plutia went to work on making a doll that looked vaguely like herself, while still using the book as a guide.

The act of sewing was, by nature, fairly relaxing. One could lose themselves in the flowing nature of stitching. Soon enough Plutia had a plushie. It wasn't perfect, being a little lopsided, but the stuffing managed to give the plush an adorable pout. "It's not perfect… But I'm sure Lucifel will love it." Smiling, the goddess sat up and headed off in search of her daughter.

Lucifel was in the backyard staring up at the sky, hands planted on her hips. She kept making a gesture as if saying 'get down here.' The little Fallen narrowed her eyes and pointed down. She huffed and folded her arms, but a little smile crept up on her. Lucifel stamped her foot petulantly but it didn't seem to work on whoever she was staring at.

Plutia tilted her head. "Lucifel who are you looking at? Oh, and I made something for you." Plutia showed off the doll, before looking up at the sky trying to find what her daughter was looking at.

"Thanks Plutia-mama! This is Gabriel. Sister of the Archangel Michael and here to visit. Even though she should have used the front door like a normal person," Lucifel gave a playful admonishment to the figure sitting in the tree.

She was, in a world, beautiful. Twelve gleaming white wings extended from her back, blonde hair shone like the sun, with blue eyes shining with compassion. The angelic messenger shrugged apologetically.

"Terribly sorry. I wasn't sure what the protocol was. We usually meet in a neutral location...I am sorry to intrude," Gabriel's voice was like a song.

Plutia blushed lightly before shrugging. "Glad you like the plushy Lucifel. And Gabriel, as long as you don't cause any trouble you'll probably be fine… Though. I am going to have to talk to Rias about this. Anyways I'm assuming my daughter has to do with why your here?"

"Rias said that it was okay if I came, but that was making a good impression was on me. I am here to talk about Lucifel…" Gabriel lightly hopped from the tree. She touched the younger girl's face in wonder before jerking back as if stung.

"What's wrong? I'm okay with headpats, cheek pats, and all that. You're like my big sister, right?" Lucifel beamed up at Gabriel. The angel laughed, half with surprise.

"I suppose I am. Thank you allowing me to be here," she turned to Plutia with a smile.

Plutia chuckled. "No problem. Lucifel's adorable and can see the good in anyone she talks to." Plutia's face became more serious. "Anyways, what do you need to talk about?"

"Let's get right to business then. I am certain that Lucifel has been experiencing troubling dreams lately. My brother alerted me to the possibility of the Divine System attempting to force a connection. Due to the distance it would only end up being more traumatic than it should. He has been standing between the full connection and Lucifel, but he is wearing down," Gabriel glanced down at Lucifel regretfully. It was clear the idea of putting this on her shoulders was distasteful.

Plutia took a deep breath, and tried not to curse. "Well. Curses. Lemme guess we need to go to Heaven to get Lucifel connected to the divine system? ...I wanted Lucifel to have some time to grow up before all of… this."

"That was our hope as well. To avoid burdening her with this we did everything we could, but her strength grows daily. The Divine System is rejecting Michael outright now," she clenched her hands in helplessness. Lucifel took her hands gently.

"This is what I want. I can't stand to hear the voices of the faithful. Always crying for an answer and receiving none. Besides there are a few things I want to ask," Lucifel shifted to Iris Daughter with the force of her conviction.

Plutia nodded, and transformed into Iris Heart to better support her daughter. "Makes sense. If it's your choice baby I'll stand by you with it. Even if I do wish we had more time…." Iris Heart looked to Gabriel and frowned. "Any potential complications or anything we would have to worry about?"

"The only complication may be the heads of the Church. My brother mentioned this to them and the response wasn't positive. We need to clean house properly after the current crisis," Gabriel said.

"I hope they're ready to be disappointed. What I have heard does not cast them in a positive light," Iris Daughter stated grimly.

Irie Heart nodded. "Exactly. If they attempt to do anything to Lucifel or attempt to take her or hurt her… I'll make those worthless idiots die screaming." The goddess floated in the air, crossing her legs as if she was sitting on the air.

"I should probably say something like 'you shouldn't let your anger dominate your reason', but as her mother it is your prerogative," Gabriel said which was as close to acceptance as an angel could get. Iris Daughter eyed the high ranking Angel speculatively.

"Hey Mom? I like this one. Think we can keep her?" Iris Daughter impulsively hugged the Angel, who returned the hug and laughed.

Iris Heart chuckled, before putting a finger to her lip. "While she is nice, we don't have anywhere for her to sleep, unless she uses a sleeping bag and shares a room with someone." The goddess smiled and looked to the angel. "Anyways, do you have any ways to stay in touch? A e-mail or anything?"

"Actually we do. This cell phone number will reach me no matter where I am," Gabriel passed a number to Iris Heart and Iris Daughter.

"Cell phones…? Whoa," ID remarked.

"We have been talking to the Fallen more. Azazel suggested we modernize. The talks have been going well, but our issues are quite entrenched. Unfortunately immortals are slow to change after we get in a rut," Gabriel grimaced faintly.

Iris Heart hummed in thought. "People in general don't like leaving the ruts they make for themselves." Iris Heart shook her head. "Though, glad to see things are generally going well. Anyways. What is the earliest time we could head up to Heaven to get Lucifel connected?"

"I was going to ask you when it was convenient," Gabriel said to Iris Heart.

"I thought I'm your boss," ID smiled to show she was kidding.

"Ah but she is your boss," Gabriel tapped the cheeky little Goddess on the nose.

"Fair enough," ID shrugged playfully.

Iris Heart hummed once more in thought. "How long will it take? And I'll talk to Kala, see if she can find a way to fit it into our plans for the weekend…"

"When Michael connected to the system it was instantaneous," Gabriel assured the pair.

Iris Heart clapped her hands together and smiled. "Great. I'll talk to Kala about it just to make sure. Not that I don't trust you, but I… do not have the best..impression of my daughter's predecessors."

"Fair enough I suppose. Kalawarner was there at the event. Would it be possible…?" Gabriel started to say only for Iris Daughter to cough into her fist.

"If a Fallen wants to go back to Heaven I have no problem with that. Frankly I would be loosening some of the restrictions that caused the Fallen in the first place. No one is perfect and the sooner we understand, the sooner we'll all be happy," she figured out that Gabriel was going to ask about those who Fell. The sunny Angel smiled with genuine pleasure.

Iris Heart smiled. "Will that be all?" The goddess, despite Gabriel's apparently kind nature, couldn't help but be slightly on edge.

Gabriel sensed that her presence was causing some agitation. She smiled gently in response, unoffended considering the reputation her Faction held with the others. Iris Daughter gave the older Angel a tight hug eliciting a giggle in response.

"I mean what I said. Anything you need, please give us a call. I wouldn't be a good 'big sister' if I didn't help," Gabriel nuzzled the younger girl's hair fondly.

"No problem. And glad to meet you. I hope things go well for you." Iris Heart smiled at her daughter's cuteness.

Gabriel gave a final wave before vanishing through a teleport circle. Iris Daughter powered down with a contented sigh.

"You have no idea how much strain that takes off me," Lucifel rolled her neck before arching her back.

Iris Heart de-transformed, and Plutia looked to her daughter. "Enough that the bad dreams will fade? And what do you think of the plushy I made for you?"

"I like it a lot! Thanks Plutia-mama!" Lucifel hugged Plutia tight.

Plutia smiled and hugged her daughter. "I'm glad you did. It's my first time doing anything like that so I'm surprised it came out so well." The goddess yawned, covering her mouth with her sleeve.

"Anything you put your heart into I will love," Lucifel smiled.

Plutia smiled. "Thanks. I'm just glad I made something that makes you happy. Hm. Do you know where Asia is? Haven't seen her all day."

"That is a good question...Gimme a moment," Lucifel closed her eyes. After a few moments she opened them again. "Asia is by the river just on the edge of the city."

Plutia nodded. "How about we take a walk and see how she's doing?" Plutia asked her daughter..

"Okay!" Lucifel beamed.

The sun was setting casting a soft light on the river. It was a beautiful time of day with nary a breeze. Seated on the riverbank was a familiar blonde with her feet in the water. She sat propped up on her elbows watching the sky. Most wouldn't sit so carelessly even if the day was peaceful. Most people couldn't turn into a Goddess at a moment's notice. Lucifel stopped to a snap a picture of the peacefully relaxing girl.

Plutia smiled and walked over to her. "Hi Asia. Nice day outside right?"

"Hello, Plutia, Lucifel. I figured you were coming when I felt the probe," Asia smiled.

Lucifel smiled proudly, "You're getting better at this!"

"Well, I didn't want to drag anyone down," the former nun played it off modestly.

"You're not a drag or anything Asia. You're my friend. How's your day been? I made Lucifel a plushy, cause well I need a hobby besides reading and messing around with magic," Plutia said.

"I spent the day with the Occult Research Club. Just so you know Rias was allowed to unseal one of her Peerage. Apparently his power was so great she was unable to contain it," Asia said.

"What sort of power?" Lucifel asked.

"He was a dhampir before becoming a Bishop. He has the Sacred Gear 'Forbidden Balor View,'" Asia said. Lucifel whistled softly.

"Okay, now THAT is a potent Gear. It allows the bearer to freeze time," Lucifel explained for her mother's benefit.

Plutia blinked. "I don't know why but that's reminding me of PMMM. And one? Does she have others sealed? And what's he like?" The goddess asked, her curiosity peaked.

"He was the only one. Gasper is nice but he's also very shy. He also has a little quirk…" Asia showed a picture of someone on her phone. The person was very delicate in appearance with shortish blonde hair and ruby like eyes. He looked like a very cute girl actually.

Plutia shrugged. "Whatever makes him happy. He's adorable I'll admit." The goddess yawned. "Again my general belief with people is they can do whatever they want with their lives as long as it doesn't hurt anyone."

"He's so shy and adorable. I just want to hug him so much!" Asia hugged herself while giggling. Plutia had the weird feeling she was in the presence of Vert. Lucifel looked confused at her reaction.

"Yeah. He's adorable, I'd be up for giving him a hug if he wants one." Plutia unconsciously looked over her shoulder, as if expecting Yellow Heart to materialize behind her and break her spine via a super strong hug. Lucifel looked around too with a curious expression.

"I think I know how this trope works...Let me guess. The guys are trying to help him be a man," Lucifel remarked.

"It's what he wants. Though he does keep running from them…" Asia tilted her head in confusion.

"Afraid of what he wants. That's classic too," Lucifel nodded.

"It takes a lot of courage when it comes to that general kind of thing.." Plutia said, shrugging in such a way it made her braided ponytail swing. "But it is kinda cliche. Though everyone needs to move at their own pace on this kinda thing."

"How was your day?" Asia asked. A peculiar gleam came to Lucifel's eyes that screamed 'Warning! Incoming Troll!'

"Oh nothing much. Just had Gabriel show up and ask me to connect to the Divine System. No biggie," she said offhandedly.

"Well that's nice...EH!?" Asia jerked forward with such force she fell in the river. After some scrambling and sputtering she made it back to dry land. She stared at Lucifel in sheer disbelief.

"Yeah. I'll talk to Kala and such, get a second opinion to make sure Gabriel wasn't glossing anything over. Not that I don't trust Gabriel, but better safe than sorry." Plutia yawned. "And I hope Gasper manages to be who they want to be."

"Dirty prank…" Asia stepped out of the river, dripping wet. She snapped her fingers and instantly dried in a spray of water vapor...that just so happened to soak Lucifel.

"Very good...very good indeed…" Lucifel acknowledged with a grin.

"I'm famished. Shall we go?" Asia asked Plutia.

Plutia nodded. "Yeah. Think it's about time for Kala to be making dinner anyways. Probably gonna ask her to move the stuff on sewing and the supplies into it for my room." With that, Plutia dried off Lucifel with her magic, before walking home with the two younger goddesses.
