Attached Document said:During the time we operated beneath the previous Regional Manager (Raina Stilson), the Milton County branch experienced moderate difficulties in the execution of our primary goals in the area.
Engagement rates fell well beneath minimum acceptable rates (as set out in the MHMA Policies & Procedures Manual, page 267, 'Engagement Rates'), leading to frequent hospitalization of several key members of our response teams. This was the primary factor behind the resignation of the previous Regional Manager.
Our Public Relations department also informs me that our image with the public is currently in a less than desirable state. Although our successful arrest rate is well within acceptable standards, our frequent injury and hospitalization rates have a direct correlation to a decline in successful recruits amongst emerging metahumans.
We have also found our Collateral Damage budget strained past acceptable standards quite frequently. Our financial situation is poor, although we are not at imminent risk of collapse.
Further details have been attached. If you wish to know more, please speak to the appropriate managers of each department.
What, the biotechnology?
This is going to be like that one time I managed make Harry Potter genderfluid in a quest isn't it?I've been informed that comments between votes makes the vote counting program complain. That said, I like this character!
IRL implies serious hormonal and/or genetic disorders, likely means infertility, mood swings and less-than-perfect physical conditions. May result in good drama. Conflicted social opinion is likely.
While I have little doubt in my ability to write such a protagonist- I am, after all, all too aware of the disgust and hatred one experiences for having a body that is simply not the body they want- that is indeed a very good point; everyone should probably think it through pretty carefully, because such choices will impact a lot of things due to the innate need for greater self-reflection and anxiety it will undoubtedly bring into being.All-in-all have good drama potential, but limited action potential and to use it fully a good amount of self-reflection is needed, that AFAIK is not something very popular on this forum.
It's something I've noted before, but every time hermaphrodite comes up as a gender option in a quest [whether GM offered, or someone writing it in] people jump straight on it like starving hyenas on a crippled wildebeest. I'm not sure why, as it really has no benefit whatsoever. While I have little doubt in my ability to write such a protagonist- I am, after all, all too aware of the disgust and hatred one experiences for having a body that is simply not the body they want- that is indeed a very good point; everyone should probably think it through pretty carefully, because such choices will impact a lot of things due to the innate need for greater self-reflection and anxiety it will undoubtedly bring into being.
Not that I'll say no if the vote wins, of course; I offered the ability to choose a non-binary gender knowing full well that I might end up writing a non-binary gender. I'm not that stupid, and if that's what wins, that's what wins, and that's what'll get written.
Edit: I'm aware that non-binary gender is the wrong term here, as the protagonist would so far self-identify as female and that's definitely a binary gender option. I'm too tired to remember the correct terminology at the moment, though.
Probably the same reason people jumped on the "Make Harry Potter Genderfluid" vote I made in another quest. What can I say? People like weird things. It's something I've noted before, but every time hermaphrodite comes up as a gender option in a quest [whether GM offered, or someone writing it in] people jump straight on it like starving hyenas on a crippled wildebeest.
